Some Jews in Basra
are trying to flee even though they are among those seeking to renounce their citizenship
They wear black and green turbans so they can escape
Police departments in Basra have arrested during
recent days a group of Jews
estimated at thirty (heads) in
close succession, and among these escapees was
a group of those who had previously requested the renunciation of
Iraqi citizenship, but their procedures
in this regard have not yet reached their final stage
yet, and the question currently being asked by
people's tongues is: Was the entry of
fleeing Iraqi Jews into Iran with the approval of
the Iranian government? As for the truth that
we know and wish to emphasize, it is that
the Iranian government has not previously authorized
officially any foreigner, whoever they may be,
to enter its territory without an official, certified
passport. As for how thousands of Iraqi Jews
managed to cross and reach Iran?
Our answer to this question is extremely simple,
which is that in Iran, as in most other
kingdoms, there are base, degraded, and lowly souls
who have made smuggling a door to livelihood,
and among the hellish methods of these scoundrels
is that they dressed the Jews in black turbans
and green ones or hats and blended them with the original
inhabitants of the country.
Efforts are still being made by His Excellency
Mr. Najib Ali, Director of Police for Basra Governorate,
and all members of the police force there
in order to combat the Jews and their smuggling
and to eliminate them.

Police arrest them and they are thrown into detention
There is no vice that the Zionists have not committed
Jews in this country, in addition to
the types of corruption they have spread through various
methods they excel at within society
And in addition to their justification of the means to achieve
the desired goal, whatever this
means may be, they are ready
to offer themselves, their honor, and everything they own
for the sake of reaching their goal. And this
goal is to obtain money to impoverish this
people on one hand. And to send the money they
obtain to Israel through various
ways on the other hand
Al-Husun, which has previously exposed these
criminal methods, is pleased by the vigilance of our
valiant police in this field, including the (Abu
Saifayn) police; they managed, thanks to the efforts of
their officer and the organization of their personnel, to arrest
Abdel Nasrallah and Saleh Daoud
They are members of the gang that Al-Husun previously

decided to detain them pending the results of the investigation

A Page from History
The Kings of the Children of Israel!
King David had settled in Jerusalem after the people of Israel occupied it, set it on fire, and slaughtered its Philistine men, women, and children. When he felt secure on his throne and with his men in the Holy City, he sent for Joab, the commander of his army, and ordered him to cross the Jordan to pursue the Philistines there.
Joab kissed the ground before his king... and went out, blew the trumpet, gathered the army, and marched toward the task he had begun from the day he was appointed commander of the army of Israel.
The resistance that the Children of Israel received from the people of Palestine was fierce, and David waited for news day after day, overcome by distress at this war that would not end and whose fire would not subside... Whenever his soul felt constricted, he would turn to his cup, sipping from it sip after sip, and to his flute, blowing his melodies into it... until the intoxication of wine blended with the intoxication of the melodies... and he would forget... forget his pains, his sorrows, and the narrowness of his soul, and hurry to his women to choose one to sleep with for the night.
On this night, David rose from his bed, took his flute, and went up to the roof of his palace to catch the breeze and blow his pains into his tender flute.
It was not destined for the flute to emit its mournful moans on that summer night... for when David cast his gaze toward the north, he suddenly found his mouth agape, and his eyes turned to stone as if pulled by fine threads from their sockets. David leaned on his palm, fixed his elbow on his knee, and fell into a trance that was like wakefulness, and a wakefulness that was like the trance of dreams.
There was a woman bathing. But she was not a woman like all women; a tall woman, supple of stature, soft of body, swaying as she bathed while the water flowed over her marble-like body and fell drop by drop from her hair, her breasts, her knees, and her delicate fingertips... she was a woman worthy of a king's bed!
David did not know how he spent that night on the roof of his house, but he remained in his place until the beautiful woman finished her bathing, put on her chemise, and disappeared from his sight. Then he called his faithful servant and asked him, "Who is our beautiful neighbor in the small house? Is she not the wife of Uriah?"
The servant replied, "Yes, my lord, she is Bathsheba, daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite."
The king asked again, "And where is her husband?"

Arabs and Jews are now in a state of war... there is no doubt about this despite the "truces" and despite the "negotiations," because the issue is deeper than being settled by these solutions dictated by international circumstances... therefore, it is good for us to know everything about the Jews... their present and their past... and from this story adapted from the Torah, we understand some aspects of the Jewish psyche.

— Why do I see you depressed
in spirit, my father..
— Nothing, my daughter "Najla"
— But you haven't swallowed from
your food except a little.. so what is wrong with you
father?
— I said nothing..
"Najla" had noticed since
she met her father at the door
this frowning that had settled on
his face, but she attributed that
to the struggle he faces in his work
except that his refusal to eat
his food worried her mind and occupied
her thoughts, so she began urging him
to disclose what was hidden in his secret
of a significant matter..
— Papa..
So Ismail raised his head and surrounded her
with his gaze.. while Najla
continued saying:
— Won't you tell me about the matter
that occupies your mind?.
The man began to let his gaze wander
over the face of his daughter "Najla", this
bright face that was surrounded
by a halo of wavy chestnut hair
so it appeared in its radiance like
a full moon stealing its way from between
the clouds that embraced it.. then he said
after he let out a long sigh:
— And what could you do, my girl..
for you cannot repel a calamity
that wants to stand alongside its peers
of the calamities of time.
— Who knows, Papa.. I might
be able to take precautions for it before
it invades us, so tell me..
— Then know, my dear.. that
that wall which you leaned
upon to crawl in the paths of life
is about to collapse.. rather it
will collapse the day after tomorrow..
— What do you mean, father..?
— I mean that the manager forced me
to submit my resignation tomorrow, for
he does not see my fitness for work after
my age has advanced.. so the girl
clutched her heart while she began to catch
with her bright eyes these words
which began to stumble between the lips
of her father.
— Oh, the meanness.. Oh, the ingratitude..
Is it after that long service
we are rewarded with this deed.. Is it after
I spent a whole week
washing his clothes and ironing them
for him like a servant, he rewards us by firing you
Truly, how vile humans are, father.
And tears choked her, so she hurried
to put on her abaya and walked quickly
seeking the outer door while
she said crying:
— I will go to him myself, I will measure
out to him a double portion for his deed..
And she went out, scattered by the cries
of her father to come back..
And the night passed, and how long it was for
every sorrowful person.. then the morning
breathed.. and the rays of the
sun fell — among what they fell upon — on
two scenes from this world..
The scene of Ismail as he stood
before his manager who began saying:
— How very sorry I am, O
Ismail Effendi, for everything that issued
from me towards you.. You are an example
of the upright employee.. sincere
in performing his duty.. Look, here is
the order for your "promotion" which I wrote
at this very hour.. Go
and tell the rest of the clerks that you are the link
between them and me in reviews.
Go.. may God protect you..
So Ismail Effendi was stunned by the change
that occurred in the manager's behavior, so he
could do nothing but raise his hands to
the sky in supplications with which he overwhelmed
his generous-natured manager..
As for the second scene.. it witnessed
the girl "Najla" as she sat
before a polished mirror looking in shock
at those faint blue lines
left by grief and pain under her eyes after a night..
Then she began to pass her hand over the surface
of her smooth cheek while she murmured
talking to herself:
— O God, how far today is from
yesterday..
Then she broke into sobbing, and with an eye
drowned in tears, she raised both
her hands toward the heavens and began
to send up her supplications and prayers..
And what a difference between her supplications
and her father's supplications.

to carry my message to Joab,
my commander."
And night came, and Uriah ate
and David ordered wine for the pious man, so he filled
for him a cup of gold, and a cup
and a cup, until he became drunk and intoxicated
Then he stood up, but he did not go down to his house, nor
did he see the face of his wife, but
he wept at the King's door until morning
and began to cry out: How can I eat
and drink while the sons of my nation are fighting
in the desert?
And the King realized that there was no use for
"Uriah", for he would not enter his house
nor would he lie with his wife; neither
longing drives him, nor wine tempts him
So when morning came, he sent him
to the war once again,
and he summoned the beautiful (Bathsheba)
And the woman entered the King's chamber
with tears in her eyes, and said:
(Behold my husband, my lord, came
to the city but did not go down to his house and did not
enter unto me, and it has become
a certain scandal among the women."
And David returned to his first question
(Do you love your husband, O Bathsheba?)
So the woman answered immediately:
(Because you, my lord, are greater than
all men).
And she fell silent, and bowed her head
And David understood from her words something
new.
So he went to his hall, and summoned his
servant, and gave him a letter to
Joab, the commander of the army (If
my servant comes to you, place Uriah in
the forefront of the heavy fighting and withdraw
from behind him with your soldiers so he may be struck
and die).
⟦line⟧
And Uriah died, and David gathered
his wife to his wives and she was to him
preferred above all women.
And history knew the beautiful (Bathsheba),
and the children of Israel glorified her
because she was the mother of Solomon the Wise
the King who built the Temple of the Lord
from whose wall the Jews took
a (Wailing Wall) for them, where they weep
over the kingdom of Israel for generations
and generations.

Kings of the Children of Israel (Continued)
The servant said, "He has gone to
the war, my lord.."
And David sighed with relief and pain.
Does a woman live without a man..
having all this beauty and this
charm! What a miserable, wretched woman.
Does this delicious body turn upon
a cold bed every night.. so
it neither enjoys passion, nor does
it please anyone with what God has deposited in it
of magic and charm.. Curse this
hateful war which
never ends..
And the servant opened his mouth.. and spoke..
"If it seems good in the eyes of my lord
the King, then I will go and bring her
to my lord, so that perhaps her conversation
might take away my lord's boredom, and perhaps
my lord's conversation might be pleasant to her heart
which is grieving for her expatriate husband."
And David's face brightened.. and he nodded
to the servant.. and the servant understood everything.
After moments, the charming woman was in
King David's chamber.
And in David's chamber, the wife
forgot her husband.. and from the kisses of
his mouth she was drunk until morning, and between
his arms she was lost in the bliss of existence.
And morning came.. and
"Bathsheba" had returned to her home.
And evening came, and "Bathsheba" was
between the arms of her king.. and for them
the cushions of pleasure became soft!.
And one day "Bathsheba" came
to the King's bed with a weeping heart
and tearful eyes.. and she said..
My lord.. I am pregnant.. and the
King was slightly disturbed and grief seized him
for her sake.. for her husband had been fighting
the Philistines for six months.
So how would her situation be if he returned
and found her two, three, or five months
pregnant, or found a newborn
on her shoulder?!.
And David worked his mind for a moment..
then he raised his eyes to the worried woman
and said, "Do you love your husband, O
Bathsheba?" And the woman answered
immediately: "For you, my lord,
are greater than all men..
but he is my husband"!.
And on the following day, the King's messenger
was galloping across the land to
Joab, the army commander, to inform him that
the King was in need of Uriah
the Hittite, right then and there.
And "Uriah" returned to Jerusalem,
concerned by the King's matter.. and when
he entered unto him, he kissed the ground
before him.. then he stood up straight having
bowed his head in reverence to the King.
And David said: "O Uriah..
news has reached me of your prowess in
the war and your merciless use of the sword
on the necks of the Philistines..
and I have sent for you to grant you
an honor I have not granted except to my commander
'Joab', that you eat of my food
and drink of my wine, and tell
me the news of the war which will gladden
my heart."
And "Uriah" prayed for the King's
long life. Then he sat before him
and began telling him the story of the war.
When he finished his talk,
the table had been prepared, so he ate
and drank.
And David said: "Now, O
Uriah, go down to your house and wash
your feet and spend your night in
your bed.. for tomorrow you return to
the war."
And Uriah went.. but he did
not go down to his house, nor did he wash
his feet, nor did he see his wife with his own
eyes, but rather he slept at the King's door
among his servants and guards.
And morning came, and the King learned
of what had happened with "Uriah",
so he became very angry, and called him and said
to him reproachfully:
"O Uriah, did you not just come from
travel yesterday? Why did you not go down
to your house? Does your wife not
have a right over you?"
And Uriah lowered his head, overwhelmed by
the King's kindness until it shamed him, then
he said: "My lord, the people of
Israel are staying in tents,
and my lord Joab the commander and the King's servants
are camped in the open desert,
and war brings death to them at
every moment of day or night,
so how could I go down to my house to eat
and drink and lie with my wife?
By your truth, my lord, and by
your pure soul, I will never do
this thing."
And David trembled for a moment from
this definitive answer, then he controlled
himself and feigned satisfaction and patted
"Uriah" on the shoulder and said:
How good is your soul, O Uriah, and how
pure is your heart; be my guest then
for two days, and do not forget to pass
by your house at some hour of the
day so you may see your wife's face.
And show her your face so she may be assured of
your safety."
And Uriah went, and David called
his servant and instructed him to watch the poor man
by day and by night.
When two days had passed, the servant returned
to his master and informed him that Uriah
remained at the King's door, and did not go down to
his house either. So the King became very distressed.
Then he called Uriah to him and said to him,
"Today, O Uriah, I hold a grand
banquet for your farewell. So you shall eat of
my food and drink of my wine, then
you shall go to your house to bid farewell to
your wife and come to me in the morning."

The first convoy of Jews
renouncing their nationality leaves Baghdad today
3 new lists for stripping the nationality of 543
To be considered by the Council of Ministers tomorrow
We noted in previous issues the measures being
taken to transport the Jews whose Iraqi
citizenship was revoked and the commitment of American
aviation companies to transport them.
It is known that the first convoy, comprising 160
Jews, will leave Baghdad this morning aboard
two American planes under the supervision of an official
from the Iraqi Travel Department.
The aviation companies that undertook
their transport announced that each Jew is allowed to bring
30 kilos for free and 20 kilos for additional fees.
As for travel fees, they are 12 dinars for adults,
6 dinars for those between 3-12 years old,
and 1/200 for those under three years old.
It was learned by (Al-Zaman) that the Council of Ministers has
approved a number of lists for revoking citizenship
from Jews wishing to emigrate from Iraq,
and three new lists will be presented to the Council
at its meeting this evening to strip citizenship from
543 Jews.

The Constitutional Union!
All of them are far from the heart, they were seven countries
And each of these countries is named for division
And despite all these countries, the Jews made a "homeland"
While we were busy with amusement, every few months a new heresy!.
My son, understand that mountain has a tree in it
The wealthy people ascended and we are still in the dust
And the fault is we became like tar stuck to cloth
The tar is these countries and the cloth is England!!!..
And everyone has known England for years
It never fulfilled a covenant. It never settled with two
It seeks its own benefit and loves to control the people
It doesn't care about principle, nor does it know loyalty or religion
My son, look at the Arabs, don't you see what state they are in?
Palestine was lost and they still say I have men
And if it were formed, the lands would fear it
And if a hero shouted from it, his shout would shake generations
What a shame, we became slaves among our own people
And we were masters, all of creation knew us
Is it possible that Arab women no longer give birth to men
"O Lord, we are tired of patience and hope"

It has come to our attention regarding the

Iraq, and in such a case
they evade paying the debt upon their departure
without the knowledge of their non-governmental

losses incurred by creditors by announcing

for those who have debts against such individuals to

60 thousand Jews
Want to travel from Iraq to Israel
The second batch travels today
The second batch of Iraqi Jews who have been
stripped of their Iraqi citizenship will depart
Baghdad this afternoon or on Monday morning.
Their destination will be Cyprus, like the previous
batch, and from there to Israel!
Their travel will be via American (Sky Master)
type aircraft.
This batch consists of 231 people,
excluding their sons and daughters who are under
18 years of age.
We have learned that the consideration of stripping
the citizenship of another number of Jews will not
take place this week due to the Israelite community's
holiday on Monday and Tuesday on the occasion of
Shavuot (the Feast of Revelation), and then the holiday of 9 Sha'ban.
It is said that the number of Jews registered
so far has reached 60,000 out of a total of
120,000 Jews in Iraq. The registration process
became active after the departure of the first
batch to Cyprus.
It was noted that the Jews of the first batch took
more underwear and outerwear with them than
any other type of luggage. They were searched
at the airport, and the search took about four hours.
We have been informed that the airline company
transporting the Jews has allocated six planes
to fly in two groups, with three planes flying
in each group.

Demand of Jews
for the Purchase of Watches
The Jews have realized a new trick to take
their money out of Baghdad, which is that each one
of them buys a valuable watch to carry with him
with the intention of taking out the largest possible quantity, just as
they have also taken for themselves more suits than
necessary.

Departure of the Third Convoy of Jews Delayed
Reasons for the Delay in Nationality Revocation Procedures
It was expected, as we previously indicated, that three planes carrying
240 Jews whose Iraqi nationality had been revoked would leave Iraq yesterday, but the departure of these individuals has
been delayed due to the delay in the issuance of the final decision for their deportation from Iraq, and the deportation process of
these individuals may be completed today..
As for the progress of the registration process for Jews wishing to have their Iraqi nationality revoked,
240 people were registered yesterday, including 156 adults and 84 minors, and it was learned that
there are some problems that emerged during the application of the special law regarding the revocation of nationality for Jews
wishing to do so, and these problems are what caused some delay in the progress of transactions at the present
time. For example, how to process the revocation of nationality for widows and minors
whose husbands and fathers have died or fled Iraq illegally, and whether
these follow their guardian or legal representative. Likewise, the text of the law stipulated the necessity of revoking
Iraqi nationality for Jews who try to escape from Iraq illegally,
but does this text apply to those among them who are below the age of majority? We have learned
that the specialized departments have referred these problems to the Legal Codification Bureau to express
its opinion on them and clarify how to apply the law in such cases, and clarifications on
this matter may be issued soon.

The Necessity of Reconsidering
The Representation of Jews in the National Assembly
A large number of Jews, both male and female, have emigrated from Iraq, and this number is less than the number
estimated for them. It is not permissible for the Jewish deputies to remain at this current number, and it is a duty to census
the Jews and represent them in proportion to their number; by doing so, the government would have applied justice
to them.

We have seen in the police reorganizations those who were included
in the exclusion even though they had obtained (seniority) seniority
for a year or less than a year, and the illness of
those reorganized from the police indicates that
some of the reorganized had not committed in their professional
life any act that warrants actual exclusion
