But After Freezing Their Assets and Stripping Their Citizenship

The Jews' escape from Iraq to Tel Aviv across the southern and
eastern Iraqi borders is the talk of the elite and the public, and (Al-Yaqaza) and other newspapers have published
detailed news about this escape, some incidents of which were linked to official employees, unfortunately
in Basra. We are not among those keen on having the Jews remain in our midst as a
dangerous fifth column for Tel Aviv, tampering with our country's economy, spreading rumors among us,
and creating chaos in our affairs and cracks in our ranks. Yes, we are not keen on
the Jews staying in Iraq. On the contrary, we wish from the bottom of our hearts that they depart from it
en masse and as soon as possible, due to our belief that their staying here is a danger to us, and
the Jews in turn have realized that their staying in Iraq will no longer bring them the benefit they were used to
back when trust and goodwill prevailed among all citizens in Mesopotamia. But after
the Palestine catastrophe, in which the Jews of Iraq contributed the largest share on the widest
scale, it is impossible for relations to return to their previous state; rather, the
situation worsens day after day. No blame lies upon us, for we have treated the Jews well throughout
the past generations and ages at a time when they described themselves as displaced persons
around the world. But what was the result? We were rewarded by them
with the 'reward of Sinimmar,' so they turned against us, and rallied the world against us, and invaded us in our own
home, and usurped a precious part of our homeland, and displaced a million of us, and ripped open
the bellies of our pregnant women, and tortured our elders, and orphaned our children, and widowed our women,
and violated our sanctities, and plundered our wealth, and spied on us. Does anyone among us
expect, after all these tragic disasters, that we live or they live with us in security
and peace? It is folly and madness for anyone to imagine the possibility of that; therefore,
the Jews must leave Iraq to the Arab lands to wherever they may settle.
There is no need for them to be smuggled out; rather, they must be expelled after being stripped of
the Iraqi citizenship they held, and after determining the amounts they are allowed to take out
with them, because they owe us for the usurped Arab funds in Palestine. How can they be allowed
to take with them whatever is light in weight and high in value, and then leave with their Iraqi citizenship?
However, since the Iraqi government has not taken a decisive resolution in this matter,
and has continued to follow an ambiguous and fluid policy toward the Jews—which encouraged them to leave
Iraq by known methods, violating the sanctity of regulations and laws,
disregarding the prestige of the state, and using officials and others to carry out their purposes—
the trial of the fugitives under the (Passport) Law, besides being non-deterrent,
does not address what was stipulated in the appendix of the Baghdad Penal Code, namely (Zionism).
If escaping to Palestine is not evidence of explicit Zionism, then what is the evidence
then? If you do not apply the provisions of the laws to them with precision and severity, then let them leave
Iraq individually or in groups, but on two conditions: first, that Iraqi citizenship be stripped
from them permanently; second, that their movable and immovable assets be frozen or confiscated
until the resolution of the Palestine issue is finalized in a manner that preserves its Arab identity
and guarantees the rights of its people, and they should only be allowed a specific amount.
The Jews have resolved to leave this country gradually according to a drawn plan,
but they also resolved to withdraw the country's wealth with them through various methods, and this
is clearly visible from their methods currently followed in trade,
markets, auctions, feigning bankruptcy, smuggling activities, and so forth
among what is known. Therefore, the government must take a clear and explicit stance toward this that puts
matters in their proper place and saves the country from the tremors it faces in its present
economic and political situation.

The Jews demanded that they take (Zion) as a constitution, and the Wailing Wall as an incentive,
and Moses' staff as a motive, so they had what they wanted and gathered thousands, and stirred up
ambitions, and they did not close an eye until they turned fantasy into reality and entered
Palestine as conquerors!! As for us, our main preoccupation is still (Friday), which is a day
on which we want the nation to gather, and from this gathering comes the consensus
on the boycott, which is an individual obligation (Ayn), not a collective one (Kifaya)!!
On this occasion, we would like to place before the reader examples of the Jews' consensus
on boycotting us, and their gathering to eliminate us so that no two people differ in taking
Friday as a national covenant, a spiritual symbol, and an economic incentive.
Article 3 of the Jewish Agency's constitution states the following:
A - Land is owned by Jews, and registered in the name of the (National Fund Capital)
(Keren Kayemeth) and remains registered forever so that these properties remain the property of the Jewish nation
non-transferable!
B - The Jewish Agency promotes agricultural colonization through the Jewish worker
only and strictly prohibits work for others.
C - Anyone who seeks help from non-Jews in investing in the land,
and carrying out all projects, is considered to be in breach of the contract!!

A Phenomenon and its Explanation!!
⟦line⟧ In recent days, the flight of (Jews) from the (field) in which they lived
for many long years in security and tranquility has increased!!
In the recent period, the market became confused, buying and selling stopped, and the
money changers ceased supporting the merchants, and the markets were filled with furniture and antiques, all
being sold at the cheapest price and offered at the lowest value. Voices rose in promotion of this
(cheapness) and these bounties!! And the (wise people) stood bewildered by the issue,
the government remained in its place without lifting a finger, nor expressing an opinion, and the
(Jews) seized this tremor and wreaked havoc, and they became tyrannical, and stretched their hands to
every facility in the country, destroying it before (departure) in a devastating and hideous manner.
This is the (phenomenon), so what is its explanation?? The explanation is that (Israel) wants
(numerical abundance) in the (Promised) land, and this abundance can only be achieved through
migration, and the migration of Jews from distant places requires (time) and (money)
manifold what their migration from nearby adjacent places requires. Accordingly,
(Israel's) cries have risen to (its subjects) to migrate to (Jerusalem)
to fill the land and inhabit the place!! and stand in the face of the (neighbors)!!! And it
stipulated conditions from which the (migrant) does not deviate by a hair's breadth, and these conditions are:
1- Age (from eighteen to fifty)
2- Money (what the migrant carries should not be less than 500 Dinars)
3- Skilled artisans
These are the (apparent) conditions of migration, while the (hidden) conditions set by
(their rulers) for many long years are:
1- Creating confusion
2- Withdrawing the largest amount of currency
3- Buying consciences with money to cover their movements
4- Inflicting damage on capital and earners to create an atmosphere of resentment
From the (fourth) paragraph, we can explain the Jews' initiative to sell (their furniture)
at such a (price) by withdrawing currency, spreading a spirit of defeatism, and inflicting damage
on capital and earners by meeting (needs) with old furniture, which
leads to people refraining from buying (new) things, and from this
refraining, (unemployment) rears its head toward the (worker) and the (earner)!! So the
(business) owner is forced to dismiss (his workers) due to the lack of turnover for the product of their labor!! So what is the
government's stance on this?? And is it still insistent on prosecuting the (escapees) under the
(passport) system!! and allowing these people to put massive quantities of
furniture on the market to withdraw (currency), spread chaos, and inflict harm on the poor??

New York - The New York Times published a telegram from its correspondent in Paris,
stating that Moses Beckelman, Vice Chairman of the American Joint Distribution Committee, has set
a large-scale program for the benefit of thousands of Jews in Islamic countries from Morocco
and Pakistan, where the number of Jews is about 850 thousand people, 80 percent of whom
live lives unworthy of human beings
Beckelman said that pilot projects will be implemented in countries that allow them, such as

duty that such a system be issued many years ago, and if we wanted (a starting point), we would have taken (the Palestine War)

(the turtle) reached its goal!! Thus, (the thief) won the prize and left us
(the system) alone, to be proud of, and to chant its name as one of the firm
and bold steps that require praise and commendation. This might have been the case if
measures were taken while (the thief) was secure, but now with only the law, no!! Oh God, except
for (the lesson) from the proverb saying (do not delay today's work until tomorrow)!! Shall we take heed??
(Bankers) played a role in the history of this
country before the Palestine War, transferring (capital) to neighboring countries fleeing from (taxes),
destroying people with the (Pound), and defying the (Foreign Exchange) Committee with transfers
sent by mail for international commissions!! After the Palestine War, they played with transferring
capital (permanently) to Palestine and imposing high levies on merchants
under the pretext of lack of (security)!! And proceeding to buy gold, which led to raising
its price, and refusing to support merchants, which destroyed trade, and demanding
debtors to pay debts before their due dates!! This forced merchants to (sell) to protect
their commercial names from destruction and the calamity of bankruptcy!! Finally, before the issuance of the system
stipulating the organization and limitation of their work, they called upon partners and shareholders and asked them
to withdraw what they owned through transfers to the banker (himself) fleeing from the system.
And so... it was!! Who blames us if we say that we are the Kingdom of ⟦Juha⟧!! It was stated
in report number 20 of the Zionist organizations' reports, quoted from Rabbi ⟦Rishmorth⟧:
("We have cast the outsiders into crises just by withdrawing the money from the hands that were
circulating it") and it was stated in report number 1 ("We can gather the world's gold in a few
minutes") and it was stated in the Talmud ("The property of non-Jews is an inheritance for Jews and it is permitted
for them to steal it and deceive its owners")!! And so they stole our money and left us the system
alone!!! Shall we take heed??

In the past, people used to hold ministries accountable based on their programs, and they attached
great importance to what was mentioned and what was not mentioned in these programs. As for now, ministerial
programs have no longer (become a matter) at all, whether they are lengthy or concise, clear
or ambiguous. After they have read (on paper) 41 ministerial programs, equal to the number of ministries
that have succeeded one another in power in Iraq over 28 years. If every ministry had implemented a part
of its full and long program, Iraq would have become, as His Excellency Al-Shabibi said, in a
better situation than it is today, but ministries come and go while the situation in Iraq
is the same, if we do not say that it was moving from bad to worse. The excuse of the ministries in
this is that they have short lifespans, and that they spend a portion of their lives studying issues
and understanding problems until when the time for work and implementation comes, they are forced to resign
before doing anything, and so on. There is no doubt that the rapid change of ministries has
led to instability in state policy, and it is one of the important reasons for what we see
of confusion in running the country's affairs, and neglect of its major interests. For the rapid
change of ministries and instability also have their causes, and they are interconnected matters
where one cannot be separated from the other when researching cause and effect.
Whatever the case, it is not important that the ministerial program comes in a way that satisfies
public opinion or does not, and whether it encompassed the people's demands and needs or did not, because
the lesson, as we said, is in the implementation, and we appreciate any service performed by any ministry for
this poor homeland. As for what prompted us to comment on the current ministry's program, it is what
was mentioned in it as an admission for the first time, as far as we remember, of two important things: the first is the admission
of the existence of "polluted and incapable elements" in the "government apparatus" and the necessity of purging
this apparatus of those elements.
Although the government did not discover a new matter. As newspapers, deputies,
and writers have previously called out repeatedly regarding the government apparatus and the corruption of many
state employees, and the prevalence of bribery, embezzlement, misconduct, and so on.
However, the government's admission now of all these evils in the governing apparatus places upon it
responsibilities for "purging" and the removal of polluted and incapable elements from state departments
and the trial of the corrupt and wrongdoers among them against the interests of the people and the government together. It is
a Herculean task that requires a lot of courage and sincerity so that the purging process
is focused on the "polluted and incapable" regardless of their status and no one else, and that the various
influences are thrown against the wall, so that Zaid does not escape "punishment" because
he is favored by or related to a great person or a specific party, and "Omar" is not condemned as a sacrifice
for Zaid because he is not favored by or related to someone who protects him.
We repeat our words if we say that some attempts that some previous
governments made in this regard were limited—unfortunately—to junior
officials rather than the senior ones responsible for corruption in their departments. It is known that corruption
in the governing apparatus has reached an indescribable level of deterioration, decay, and dissolution, which is
the source of general complaint. Every reform thought of by officials must address
first and foremost purging the state apparatus of polluted and incapable elements—and they are many
—and praise be to God, who is not praised for any misfortune but Himself!
As for the second issue in the ministry's program, it is "adopting the policy of replacing foreign elements
in the Railway and Port institutions with national elements!" The earth and sky have cried out
from these two institutions, which are Iraqi in name only. As for in practice,
they are foreign, not only in terms of favoring foreigners over nationals in their jobs and what
relates to that, but also in policy and direction. It is no longer a secret that (Jews) are
the masters in the railways and the port, and that it is impossible for any employee other than (⟦...⟧)
to find a firm footing with the sons of the (lodges), and if fate errs and throws one of
the two millstones, they ganged up on him, and heaped accusations upon him until he is forced to ⟦...⟧
their house weighted down with wounds. If we wanted to cite words we know from ⟦...⟧
the door, the article would be long for us.

as for the "fear" that the Head of the Community refers to, we do not know its source or reason, after
the Jewish elements have become active to serve Zionist goals, especially after the consolidation of the State of Israel
in the heart of the Arab nation!! Is this fear! Or "readiness"! Or what?
Ishaq Karandi Company
and his brothers for smuggling Jews
We received the following from the signatory for publication:
A company was formed in Khanaqin some time ago for smuggling Jews, consisting of Ishaq Karandi, currently residing in
Khanaqin, Yaqub Karandi, residing in the village of (Khosravi) on the
Iraqi-Iranian border, and Abdullah Karandi, residing in Tehran, to smuggle Jews
and their money out of Iraq, without a doubt. The honorable reader has already learned much about
Ishaq Karandi, as the esteemed Al-Yaqaza newspaper has previously written about the details of his criminal acts
in Khanaqin; therefore, the authorities arrested him in (Nuqrat al-Salman), and then he was sent to Baghdad
through the mediation of influential people. Now that he has been allowed to return to Khanaqin to resume his criminal
activities once again, he has used cars belonging to a well-known company as a means to smuggle Jews in them,
knowing that he has many shares in it. There is no doubt that these criminal acts, which involve smuggling
state funds, will undoubtedly affect the financial situation in Iraq. We therefore appeal to His Excellency
the Minister of Interior to kindly conduct an investigation and impose the maximum penalties on the members of this company
and its workers, who are still working diligently to undermine the entity of this state and support the State of Israel
by all means.

Draft Law for the Prohibition of Transferring
Funds and Money and the Travel of Persons to Palestine
Among the important draft laws expected to be
discussed by the Chamber of Deputies soon is this legal
draft. We referred in yesterday's issue to
the question of Deputy Abdul Razzaq Al-Hammoud in
the Chamber of Deputies to His Excellency the Prime Minister
regarding the travel of Jews from Iraq and the sale of
their belongings and the measures that should be taken
by the government to stop this movement:
Article One - It is prohibited to transfer funds
and money to Palestine or bring them from it directly
or through other countries except with a special
permit from the Minister of Finance.
Article Two - It is prohibited for persons to travel
or to mediate for their travel to Palestine directly
or through other countries except with a special
permit from the Ministry of Interior.
Article Three - It is prohibited for Iraqis
to purchase immovable property in Palestine
or to mediate for its purchase except by a decision of
the Council of Ministers.
Article Four - It is prohibited for Zionists
to purchase immovable property in Iraq
or to mediate for others to purchase it on their account.
Article Five - Violators of the
provisions of this law shall be punished by imprisonment or
hard labor for a period not exceeding fifteen
years.
Article Six - This law shall be implemented
from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article Seven - The Ministers of Interior,
Finance, and Justice shall implement this law.
Explanatory Memorandum
to the Draft Law for the Prohibition of Funds and Money
and the Travel of Persons to Palestine
In view of the situation existing today in Palestine,
it has been noted that the legislation in force at
present is not sufficient to prevent incidents of smuggling
controlled funds to it - especially after
Zionism was considered a punishable crime - and it does not
deter smugglers or lead to a reduction in smuggling
incidents despite the care and efforts exerted in that regard.
Furthermore, since the absence of legislation
imposing strict penalties on those who engage in smuggling,
whether it be smuggling funds, money, or the travel
of persons to Palestine, may encourage
Zionist advocates or their agents
to expand the scope of their work. Therefore, it was found
that necessity requires enacting legislation that sets
a limit to their activities. Thus, the attached draft
was prepared, which considered the leakage of Iraqi
funds and any act leading to the ownership of
real estate in Palestine by Iraqis or its sale
in Iraq to Zionists, whether directly or
through brokerage, or the travel of persons to
Palestine, as crimes punishable by law
unless it is with the approval of the competent
authorities in the Iraqi government as
stated in the draft.

Smuggling Jews ..
And burning two ships ..
Our colleague, Sawt al-Fayha of Basra, mentioned
that some time ago, two sailing ships were
seized carrying Jews hidden under "hay"
for the purpose of smuggling them; after they were seized
and the smuggled Jews were taken away with the ships' crews,
the two ships were left anchored in Abu Al-Khasib.
They were found one day last week
with fire consuming them, and the cause of the
incident is not yet known.
Al-Araa - This is another, but not the last, piece of evidence
that Jewish smuggling operations are still
ongoing from many points along the Iraqi
border by all possible means. If only
the smuggling were limited to getting rid of these
"fugitives" in person to where their golden dream
has become embodied in the mini-state of Israel.
But those fugitives, ungrateful for the blessings
of God and the homeland, resort to smuggling Iraqi
dinars, bullion, and the like.
Some circles are talking this
week about an attempt to smuggle one hundred thousand
Iraqi dinars by two people from well-known
Jewish families in Baghdad!

in Iraq under the conditions proposed by
the Iraqi government. The Ministry
mentioned has asked all ministries to inform it of
the specialists they need so that it can
bring the required number of these
Poles.

merchants from the remaining provinces to obtain what

were surprised by a statement from the Ministry of Finance stipulating

General of Imported Funds are reinforced with customs
statements proving he was a former merchant. This means
that the import trade will remain confined
to Baghdad merchants. It is no secret that the majority of merchants
in Baghdad are Jews, so this will lead
inevitably to trade remaining in their hands.. and
not to mention the damage that will befall other merchants
in the rest of the provinces!! Now we ask, is it
fair for the Directorate of Imported
Funds to resort to this type of solution.
And there are many educated nationalist youth
who wish to fight this lethal group
that wishes to surround the Iraqi people
with an iron ring and constrain this poor
people to suck their blood, and these are the most effective
ways in their view..
So make way, O men of Iraq,
and let the youth stand before this group to rescue
the country's economy from the hands of those whose
intentions have been proven to the public.
Furthermore, is this the correct solution?? Is
it reasonable to prevent a person from importing
because he does not possess customs statements?
If we assume that a person wishes to
work in trade and has the qualifications that
qualify him to work in this profession, is it
right for him to be prevented because he does not possess customs
statements or because he is not a former merchant?!
Similarly, if one of the graduates of the College of
Law or the College of Commerce wishes to
work in trade, is it right to
prevent him from working in this profession for the lack
of customs statements in his possession??
We believe that the solution pursued by the
Directorate General of Imported Funds is an
incorrect solution, and it will inevitably eliminate economic
awareness in Iraq... and it will encourage
rights and includes presenting Iraq's bounties
and blocking the way for educated youth who
wish to practice trade.
Accordingly, we hope the Ministry of Finance will
make way for those who wish to import and have
the required qualifications, such as belonging to the Chambers of
Commerce and being subject to income tax, otherwise
this solution will be in favor of one group over
another, and this is not in the public interest.

In yesterday's session, Mr. Faiq al-Samarrai, Deputy of Baghdad, requested that the
paragraphs regarding the government's position on the Jews be deleted from the minutes.
Those paragraphs recorded by the Deputy "Ibn al-Sheikh," in which he demanded justice
for Iraqi Jews, rather than seeking redress from them—they whose actions and intentions
have been exposed toward the homeland that bestowed upon them wealth and blessings!!
However, "Ibn al-Sheikh" objected to Mr. al-Samarrai's request and emphasized the
necessity of keeping the aforementioned paragraphs in the records! In this matter, we
support the objection of "Ibn al-Sheikh" regarding keeping the mentioned paragraphs,
so they may remain a vocal historical witness that he is more Jewish than the Jews,
just as he is more English than the English!
Here and There
The Broadcasting House in Egypt and Iraq
Keen on the feelings of the Zionists!..
Professor Al-Tabai wrote in the magazine "Akher
Sa'a" the following:
The administration of the Royal Opera House responded
to the public's desire and agreed with the radio station
to broadcast a few performances of the Italian Opera
Troupe - and among these performances
the opera Samson and Delilah by the composer Saint-
Saëns.
But it happened last week that
one of the radio station employees spoke - and we suffice
by mentioning the first letters of his name A. A. Y. -
he spoke with the Royal Opera administration and said to them -
verbatim:
(I think there is a desire not to broadcast Samson
and Delilah)!
It is a diplomatic touch usually used
- and out of politeness - to express the desire
of one of the main entities or authorities
in Egypt!
... Until it became clear that this desire was
the desire of the Director of the Radio Station! And I do not think that
the virtuous Director of the Station, no matter how great his status is
in hearts - and in my heart especially -
and no matter how great his share of people's respect is
- and the respect of the radio listeners in
particular - I do not think that His Excellency or His Honor
aspires for his wishes to be referred to in the language or
phrases used to express the
wishes of the main official authorities in
Egypt!
But... never mind that!
The important thing is why did the Director
of the Station express this desire? This is Q...
and A... because broadcasting the opera Samson
and Delilah might hurt the feelings of the Jews!
And I ask here or wonder: Who appointed the
Director of the Station or authorized him or delegated him to defend
the feelings of the Jews?
If one of Egypt's Jews had spoken to him
about this.. then I am ready to cross out all

we Muslims believe in.. So what objection
does Qasim Bey have to a story from a book believed in by
Muslims?
In fact, this opera Samson
and Delilah was translated into Arabic and composed by an Egyptian Jew
the musician Daoud Hosni, and it was produced by the
Company for the Promotion of Arabic Acting on the stage of
the Ezbekiya Garden, and the Jews of Egypt did not object or protest
or demonstrate back then, so why does
Professor Qasim Bey want to be more Jewish
than the Jews?
Or perhaps Qasim Bey got confused
and thought that Samson and Delilah is the play
(Samson) by author Henri Bernstein, against which
the Jews of Alexandria demonstrated when

and if only her songs were like other songs, free
from words and meanings that are reprehensible in an
Arab Islamic country, but she insists on singing
pieces that stir emotions and excite feelings
and clearly scream with reckless licentiousness
and all of this, we have no doubt that its source is a
special group of the enemies of Arabism and Islam
that wants to corrupt morals with such songs
reprehensible, and perhaps the piece she sang last
Sunday evening (My Neighbors.. My Neighbors)
is clear evidence of what we said because of the
meaning it contained which we see as a debauchery to reach the ears
of every young man and girl, therefore we draw attention to
the impact left by such songs on
morals, hoping for the removal of this singer from
the broadcasting house!

We do not want silence
regarding the escape of the Jews
Incidents of escaping and smuggling of
Jews from various regions of the country have increased, and
the means and methods of their escape and

many and varied incidents? And what do

they were born and in whose land they were raised, and from

what befell the Arabs in Palestine had befallen them
even in small part. However, the strange
thing is that they are working hard to escape
not out of injustice that befell them, or harm likely
to happen to them, or damage that might strike them.
And this is what makes us wonder
and urge the officials to put an end to the issue
of the Jews in Iraq.
The issue has reached a point where it is impossible
to remain silent about it, for the citizen who does not
want to live in his homeland, we cannot
bind him with chains and shackles to stay,
and if he stays in the homeland, his harm is more than
his benefit, and his schemes for the country are more than
his advice, for he does not change regardless of how the days
pass or the eras multiply. . And let us say
frankly that they long for Palestine and that they
are eager to go to it and serve the state
of the "Promised Land." So we have only to prepare
the ways and pave the roads for their departure by
legitimate means, and let their travel be, not like the travel
of the Palestinian refugees with only their skin, but rather
the Iraqi government should hand over to each
of them only what is sufficient for travel, and
his "alleged" state should prepare for him the means of
living there, and the money currently in the possession
of the Jew must return to
the Iraqi state treasury just as "Israel"
previously confiscated the funds and properties of
the Palestinians. And public opinion, O
officials, has been very patient, and persevered
more, and there is no more room for patience,
and do not try by your silence to drive it
out of its mind, so that what is not praised

My Economic Corner
A Common Mistake!!
... We were visiting one of our merchant friends, and our conversation was a mixture of
politics, economics, salon talk, newspaper news, and what is broadcast by radio
stations and repeated by news agencies. Each of us participated in the conversation according to
his culture and the extent of his knowledge, added to this were the light and pleasant comments of some brothers,
which were comments intended for (humor), not to explain mysteries or interpret the obscure. While we
were in this state, a young man in his twenties entered, having an appointment with our friend
(the merchant). He was handsome, muscular, tall, lacking nothing but
self-confidence and reliance on God. He leaned his head toward (our friend) and whispered to him
something in a trembling voice and broken tones that did not suit those twisted muscles and broad
chest. He gestured for him to sit, so he sat bashfully, and his gaze wandered into space.
Suddenly our friend shouted:
- A disaster, by God!!
- Leave disasters and difficulties aside, for we did not agree on this, nor did we make an appointment for it,
it is only hours we spend with pleasure, even if (affected), then each of us goes about his business!!
- True... but (so-and-so) sent me his relative (pointing to the young man) asking
me to employ him in the (Khan), and he was in the (Government), but they let him go for a reason I do not know!!
- Perhaps they do not want young people!! Or they do not wish to open up space for them!! Or perhaps our friend
was performing (athletic exercises) in his office to threaten his boss with such muscles,
so the boss got annoyed with him and felt constrained, and took advantage of the empty treasury of money to get rid of
him under the pretext of saving?!
- This may be so, and it may not be!!
- And why don't you take him in and benefit him, and benefit from him, and thereby add to the workers
one, and decrease the unemployed by one?!
- You are practical and commercial, and commerce requires (honesty), (loyalty),
(intelligence), keeping secrets, lightness, and activity!! And all this is found among the (Jews),
and the Muslim has no capacity to perform it!!
- A wrong idea and a terrible, far-reaching direction!! You serve the Jews and forget others.
- But it is the reality in which I am not alone, and I have no part in calling for it, but I
am, as the saying goes... (We found our fathers...)!!
- And how do you know that your fathers were in error in this?? And that this error is
the creation of the Jews themselves???
- It may be possible!!
- So how did you attribute (honesty) to them when it is stated in their Talmud (that the property of non-Jews
is permissible for Jews)?!! And you attributed loyalty to them when they betrayed this homeland after they lived
in it from the Babylonian captivity until now?? and you claimed intelligence for them while they are the dullest upon it,
and you credited them with (keeping secrets) while your secret and the secrets of others are known to (their sect),
and you praised their lightness and activity, and all of this is true, but it is directed to serve (Israel),
not to serve you!!?
- What you mentioned may be among the common mistakes!!
- It is the reality, and the evidence is plenty!!
The young man departed, driven by hope and pushed by expectation, while we remained tearing down in
our (attempt) the common mistakes that dominated minds for a period of time, making

A severe explosion occurred today in Baghdad, and

complete military training as an exaggeration of vigilance and caution, and in preparation for emergencies
and danger. I say at this time when the world is clustering into camps lying in wait
for one another, and some are preparing to pounce on others. And at a time when
Jewish gangs are preparing to invade the rest of the Arab countries after they swept through
Palestine - and humiliated all the Arabs - at this time we are stingy with our children regarding training
which we used to practice years ago, that is, the day when our country and our nation were not exposed to the danger
of the Jews as they are now. How strange is our condition, and how odd are our ways?
The Futuwwa system was in place in Iraq since the year 1939 - 1941, that is, before
11 years. There were youth battalions and student parades as they traversed
public streets, performing their exercises in special camps, filling the hearts
of the people with pride and glory in the early manhood that cheers for the homeland, and thinks only of
the glory of the homeland.
The "Futuwwa" was a massive, mighty army of brave schoolboys, their shoulders shaking
with national pride, and their souls elevated by national faith, while they knew
that they were carrying weapons and training in the use of weapons in preparation for the day of struggle,
the day the caller of the nation summons them, and they answer the call and find sacrifice for its sake sweet. So what
is it that angered the officials about the Futuwwa system until they abolished and suspended it? And what is it
that also angered the officials about the Futuwwa until they forbade them from practicing horsemanship
which is from the core of Arab character, and is at the peak of the nation's interest?
It is not difficult for us to explain that "anger," but we do not want to dig up
graves and recall memories, for in them is what causes distress and pains the heart. We do not want
to say that harsh circumstances enabled the British advisors in the Ministry
of Education to influence some officials during the war, so they abolished the Futuwwa system
for political purposes known to the people, and the system remained suspended until this day, despite
all the cries that rose from all over the country to revive it. Especially after the Jewish danger
grew toward Palestine and the rest of the Arab countries. His Excellency Mr. Najib
al-Rawi, the former Minister of Education, had promised to restore this system and implement it since the last
academic year. But the promise remained a voice in a speech, and ink on paper!
O officials, the youth of this nation spend their free time in what does not benefit
the homeland: in cafes, amusement parks, streets, markets, and reading exciting stories.
Youth and free time are a source of corruption, so fill their void with the Futuwwa system and straighten their character
by training them in the use of weapons and horsemanship activities - you will guarantee for the country a strong generation
in body, character, and creed.
The Jews in Iraq - if you did not know yet - are training their sons and daughters
on everything before our eyes and ears. Indeed, they actually trained them on types of engines,
land and river; they trained the largest number of them even on flying in the sky of Baghdad; they trained them
on swimming, boxing, and wrestling. They trained them on using all types of weapons,
and military movements. They trained them on everything related to attack, defense, intelligence,
acts of sabotage, espionage, and so on. We have warned of this on every occasion,
yet the Iraqi government does not lift a finger, neither toward the Jewish preparation inside
the country and outside it, nor in preparing the youth for what matches the preparation of the Jews on the
second hand, a matter that cannot be understood or interpreted reasonably, until doubt almost
overwhelms us regarding what is being plotted for us as a result of this strange policy!
But in the Ministry of Education now is a minister from the youth, whose time with the Futuwwa
is not long ago, and he often repeated with his colleagues in school squares the anthems of power, and cheers
of enthusiasm. So we hope that the seat of power will not make him forget the duties of the youth - and he is one of them -
by fulfilling for his fellow youth their ambition, bringing them closer to their goals, and restoring to them
their Futuwwa system. We need not say that the least current circumstances impose upon us
is to work with the Futuwwa system, to prepare the youth in a way that makes them capable of
protecting the homeland and warding off dangers from it when the hour comes.

The Incident of the Bomb that Exploded Yesterday
Where did the Jewish defendant get it from

people began whispering about the existence of (secret)

Yesterday we published a brief report about the incident
of the bomb that exploded yesterday in Ghazi Street,
and today we publish the latest details that reached us
in this regard. At exactly half past one in the
afternoon yesterday - Saturday - a massive roar
and a severe explosion were heard that shook the
Bab al-Sheikh area. People rushed out of their houses
to find out the cause of this explosion, and a group
of policemen, led by Mr. Najib Muzahim, the officer
in charge of Bab al-Sheikh police station, rushed to Al-Wasi Square,
opposite Al-Fardous Cinema. A girl was seen sitting
on the sidewalk with blood flowing from her ear and
her right thigh, screaming and crying at the top of her
voice. Clouds of smoke filled the entire square, and
the police dispersed the residents. The station officer
began the investigation with the injured woman, and it
turned out she claims to be Nazima Salih, 25 years old,
and that she was injured as a result of the explosion of
a hand grenade she was carrying herself. She was immediately
transported by an ambulance that arrived following the
incident, accompanied by the officer of the Bani Said
police station. After being examined and treated,
she was placed under medical observation, and then
her statement was recorded by the investigating judge
who ordered her immediate arrest, and she was sent
under guard to Al-Karkh Hospital.
Then Mr. Mohsen Al-Qazwini, the investigating judge of
South Rusafa, the assistant police chief of Al-Abakhana, and
the assistant police chief of Bani Said arrived at the scene
to conduct an inspection and record witness statements.
The chemical analyst Dr. Kawi also arrived, and the
investigative committee began its work. They saw large iron
pieces and craters in the middle of the street. Also noticed
were holes in the walls facing the street. The bomb exploded
in an arch shape. Witnesses of the incident, who are
shopkeepers located in front of the incident, stated that
the street was empty of residents and cars when the
bomb exploded. The explosion occurred following the
defendant falling to the ground as a result of slipping.
It is believed she was hiding the bomb under her abaya.
The bomb explosion led to the injury of a blind beggar
who was sitting a long distance from the incident with
some wounds and damages. The criminal feigned
fainting, stupidity, and lack of understanding during
the investigation with her. Thus, this incident passed
peacefully without any person being significantly harmed.
Had the street been crowded with people, the
consequence would have been bad.
The investigation is now underway to find the source of
this bomb, where the defendant got it from, and where
she intended to take it?... And is there a source for
distributing bombs to the Jews, and how were the security
authorities oblivious to that before this explosion occurred?
Salima Murad and the Radio
We have learned that His Excellency the Minister of Interior has ordered important amendments
to the Iraqi radio programs. Under these amendments, the Jewish dancer Salima Murad
has been removed from the radio programs, which had challenged the general national sentiment
for a long time with this Jewish woman. No doubt the Iraqi public will receive this
with great joy.

noting that her family, relatives, and even her husband
have not contacted her yet. Some of
her relatives were summoned to record their statements, and they mentioned
that they have had no contact with the accused, Nazima Saleh, for

Jews are destroying Iraqi wealth!

People have no talk these days except the talk of the Jews, and what they are plotting for this
country of imminent evil. That is because they are in a constant movement of flight and smuggling to
Palestine. We are truly pleased that all Jews are leaving Iraq, whose economies they have messed with,
and whose destinies they have controlled through this path. Yes, we are very pleased that
they leave our country to where Umm Qash'am (death/ruin) cast her belongings. But the matter did not stop at the limit
of their flight and smuggling, otherwise we would have held celebrations, and spent beautiful nights for that; rather,
this movement of theirs is a "premeditated conspiracy" in broad daylight to disrupt the economic situation,
and create confusion in the markets.
The explanation for this is: they smuggled all the money they could smuggle out of
Iraq first, until their deposits in banks dwindled from millions to what is not worth
mentioning. In addition to this, they (frozen) their funds in Iraq to directly affect the
buying and selling movement. Then they finally resorted to a (clever demonstration) by selling their house
furniture and liquidating goods in a portion of their stores. The purpose is clear: to collect all the
money possible to collect from the country's currency to take it out or go with it to Tel Aviv via
Iran or other countries. This is what concerns us in the first degree.
This is with the knowledge that those Jews who are leaving are not (incapable) but are
(those capable) of carrying weapons of both sexes, and that means they are (called)
for the duty of defending (Israel), rather they are called to invade the Arab countries. Then
what is the benefit of some Jews leaving Iraq at a time when their merchants here are allowed
to control the lion's share of import and export policy, and to enrich them
by owning large areas of land that they bargain over and control their prices
after they seized them at the lowest prices and easiest means! By involving a group of
influential people with them in this scandalous exploitation.
We used to say, and we are still repeating the saying, that the country's national wealth is under
the control of the Jews, and that this wealth is threatened with extinction due to the excess of what they smuggled
from it by their private methods, and here they are now executing their conspiracy with a tight plan
to eliminate the remaining portion of it, and the government shows no movement from this side.
Let us allow the Jews to leave Iraq all at once. But before we allow them that,
and before we turn a blind eye to their flight and smuggling, there must be no doubt in us that
these are (Zionists) in the language of those who sympathize with them and incline toward them. As for us,
we do not differentiate between a Jew and a Zionist. And then it becomes imperative for us, having known the (enemy),
to strip him of the Iraqi nationality he carries, for he carries no other except by injustice and aggression,
then we freeze his movable and immovable property; if we do not compensate the refugees with it for the
damages they suffered, then we at least deprive them of benefiting from it and using it against us. As for
opening the way for them to leave with their money and Iraqi nationalities, or leaving the space
for the rest of them to invest their money and properties in controlling trade and other
economic utilities, and subjecting import restrictions to their interest, that and our
supreme national interest are at opposite poles. We do not know a meaning for such a policy,
except if we wanted them to destroy this country economically and morally, after we enabled them to seize
Palestine.
The incidents reveal to us day after day with clarity that needs no addition: that the Jews
in Iraq and the rest of the Arab countries do not constitute a (fifth column) only for Tel Aviv,
but they are preparing here and everywhere to carry out what the fifth column cannot carry out
of acts of sabotage and destruction. There is no Jewish house that does not contain what it contains of
weapons and explosives. It happened yesterday that two Jewish women came out of
Ghazi Street carrying hand grenades to a Jewish house in Al-Bataween, and fate willed
that a grenade fell from one of them and exploded to expose the matter, and one of them fled.
The wounded woman was taken to the hospital. For whom were these grenades and other stored weapons
prepared in the homes of Jews, and what is the government waiting for to search their warehouses
and their homes which were guarded and protected by the criminal Ali Khalid, the former Director General of Police,
who used to throw every piece of news that reached him about them into the (wastebasket) and throw informants into
detention centers and fabricate charges against them, and receive a high price for that in cash!
The Jews are plotting against you from all sides, and by all means, so if you do not strike
their hands with seriousness and sincerity, and if you do not spoil their plans for them, and get rid of
their evils, your country will become a (new) Palestine, God forbid. And I am amazed by those who
ignore the danger while it is before sight and hearing. May God have mercy on him who heard and understood.

Jewish Migration to Israel
And Its Danger to Our National Entity
Some sister publications have recently
pointed to the (auction) movement taking place
in full swing in various parts of the country,
where many of "our Jews" have begun
selling their movable and immovable properties
in preparation for traveling to Israel via
Iran, this dear neighbor
which was and still is most enthusiastic in
appreciating the rights of neighborliness, and its
position towards Israel has not and still does not
differ from the position of the most sacrificial
Arab states for the sake of the Arabism of Palestine.
Therefore, it is truly regrettable that
this position should change slightly, so that
friendly Iran becomes a bridge crossed by the Jews
of Iraq to Israel. There is no doubt
that His Majesty the Shah's recent trip to
the United States had a significant impact on
this change, but our faith in the gallantry
of the brotherly Iranian people and their sympathy
leads us to the firm belief that they
will draw their government's attention to this
dangerous phenomenon, forcing it to close
its borders in the faces of fleeing Jews.
And what we say about Iran, we say about
Iraq as well. Ever since the Zionist movement
began to mature and was about to
enter its practical stage, Arab politicians
realized, foremost among them the politicians
of Iraq, the danger of Jewish migration to
Palestine. They exerted every possible
political or financial effort to stop it,
in addition to the legal obstacles
and restrictions they placed to prevent the travel of Jews to it
directly or indirectly as is happening now.
When colonialism established the illegitimate state of Israel
in Palestine, Jewish groups began
flocking to this dear Arab spot,
and their goal in doing so
does not exceed forming the overwhelming majority
of the population and putting an end to the Arabism of
Palestine finally, then gradual expansion
at the expense of neighboring Arab countries
whenever international circumstances and occasions allow.
Israel was and still is making all attempts to gather
the largest possible number of Jews in
Palestine to achieve its colonial ambitions
in the Arab East. But the seasoned Arab
politicians, foremost among them His
Excellency - Al-Said and Gir - their
resolve did not falter in combating this hateful danger.
After the reasons justifying the continuation of martial law in
Iraq vanished, His Excellency the Brigadier limited
these rulings during his last ministry
to combating the two dangers - the Communist
and the Zionist - and His Excellency also drafted the
law preventing the transfer of funds and the travel
of persons to Palestine to make it a reference
for the government in combating the aforementioned migration
after martial law completely ceased.
However, the (late) Ayyubid ministry
initiated - before any national service -
the abolition of the martial administration, which was
limited to combating the two major dangers
(Zionism and Communism) alone.
The result was as we see it now.
Mass migration to Iran, and from there
to Israel, of course. Because the civil
courts with their light punishments no longer
frighten the migrating Jews, because they
find nothing to punish them with other than violating the
passport system. So it is either a small fine
or reaching Israel! We do
not know if this result was intended
by the abolition of martial law and the suspension of
the Parliament so that the approval of the law
we alluded to would be delayed, just as we do not know
if the abolition - and this phenomenon is one of
its results - was inspired by foreign entities
interested in gathering Jews in Palestine and strengthening
their sinful state and expanding it. But
what we know well is that the current ministry
whose internal affairs are handled by His Excellency
Professor Saleh Jabr, known for his intense enthusiasm
and sincerity for the Arabism of Palestine,
will not hesitate to approve the law preventing
the transfer of funds and the travel of persons to
Palestine, as we do not doubt that His Excellency -
being a seasoned politician - knows very well that
the migration of two hundred thousand Jews from Iraq
to Palestine means nothing other than strengthening the Zionist
front with this large number of supporters who will
soon become double this number after a short period,
and help erase the Arab character -

is that His Excellency Al-Said's statement a while ago
about his approval to exchange the Jews of Iraq
for refugees on the condition that the Jews waive
their properties to the Iraqi government was not
anything but a brilliant political maneuver necessitated by
the relationship of the Jews with some major countries
and it did not have any practical character because
the Jews in Iraq will not waive
their properties as is known
And what pains us is that some
Iraqi newspapers have taken to calling for the (expulsion)
of Jews from Iraq on the grounds that they constitute
a "Fifth Column" for Israel, whether
this call was born of rampant national
sentiment and short-sightedness in
political matters, or if it was incitement
motivated by Jewish gold, it is the
duty of colleagues to think and realize
that monitoring these Jews
in Iraq is much easier and better
than the dangers of their migration which
we have mentioned. In addition to what the departure
of this large number of residents leaves
of a massive deficit in taxes, and a major
imbalance in the trade balance, and a great
drop in local consumption, and what
the liquidation of their properties causes of a frightening
stagnation in all manual industries,
and a dangerous halt in buying and selling,
so let the colleagues think a little before they speak
on these dangerous national matters because
the stage has become critical, and
history is recording..

Turkish writer Cevat Rifat Bey,
an article on this subject, in which he alerted
the Turks to the consequences of this Jewish
demonstration, and warned against repeating this
act whose results reflect back on Turkey
with some of what it does not hope for.

Jewish funds in Iraq
Strange tricks to smuggle them to Israel
The Higher Arab Committee received a letter
from Baghdad stating: that the Jews
are fleeing from Iraq to Palestine through
Iran and are simultaneously
smuggling gold and jewelry
to it and converting their properties into movable
funds to make it easier for them to smuggle them

to smuggle funds and jewelry
And among their tricks in this regard is that they
contract with some companies to
import quantities of goods, and after
paying the price, they return them again under the pretext
that they are not of the type agreed upon
in the contract, then they do not request the return of
the price, so it remains for them outside the country at
their disposal.
They also agree with foreign companies
in Iraq to manage them
and spend on them from their funds, then
these companies pay the equivalent
of these expenses in the home country
of each company, to be at the disposal
of the Jews at any time, and likewise
they handle the expenses of tourists,
visitors, and businessmen who
come to Iraq, then ask them
to pay the equivalent of these expenses in their countries
after their return, and they often resort
to smuggling ornaments and jewelry
by means of diplomatic pouches and
using senior officials on steamships
for this purpose, in addition to using
the usual methods of smuggling, by
corrupting the integrity of officials in customs
and border outposts
