12 Thousand Foreign Jews in Iraq
Will their status be liquidated following the new legislation?
More than two months ago, the responsible authorities requested that foreign
Jews residing in Iraq register their names with the police authorities in the provinces
in order to know their number on one hand and to identify their nationalities, especially those who might have
infiltrated Iraq by some means.
We have learned that the number of these individuals has reached 12 thousand, living in several provinces.
It is said in informed circles that these foreign Jews will have their status liquidated or
that they will liquidate their relationship with Iraq and Iraqis after the implementation of the law appended to the decree on the revocation of
Iraqi citizenship, which the government established to stop the illegal smuggling movement
through one of the neighboring countries.

Ezra Menachem justifies and warns!
The rest of the post on the first page
and banking, thanks to their shops run by agents
for them despite their leaving Iraq and their cooperation
with Israel?
The Palestine catastrophe occurred, and these
Jews, whom Senator Ezra Menachem defends,
had the largest share in this catastrophe, as a result of
which our brothers, the people of Palestine, were treated
with the worst treatment; they were tortured, expelled, and their
honor was violated and their sanctities trampled upon, and they are of us
and we are of them, but the Iraqis until today
have not met this Jewish aggression with its like.
Rather, the most that happened was that "privileges were
limited" which the Jews had monopolized for a long
period of time, so they became enraged, and with them
their agents and hirelings became enraged, because they
were accustomed to the Jews being the real "masters"
and to the sons of this people being "slaves" to them, and that
the Jews must always possess the resources of livelihood
and the keys to work in this country!
It is truly strange that Senator Ezra should say:
"History will show the true reasons for this
migration (Jewish) and it will become clear that the
Jews of Iraq have no connection to the painful events
which our fellow citizens complain of"!
We say: enough of mocking the Iraqi people!
The Zionist entity in Palestine was established
initially upon the Jews who migrated to it from
Arab countries, as they used to come
and go between it and Iraq and other
Arab countries, while the Jews in Europe
and America were hesitant to leave their countries and migrate
to Palestine, then the Polish and German Jews began
to arrive there, and finally when the American
and other European Jews felt reassured
that it would be a center for the State of Israel,
and for economic independence and abundant profit
and wide authority, they migrated to it, and the plan
is clear: which is for the Jews in the Arab countries,
especially, to cooperate with Israel and international Judaism
in general until this hostile state extends to the Euphrates
and then to other borders of our threatened homeland,
afflicted by Israeli ambitions.
And here is Senator Ezra Menachem talking
about the relationship of Jews with Iraq in the language of
"Ben-Gurion" when he used to talk about the relationship
of Jews with Palestine. Senator Ezra says:
"The Jews of Iraq have been inhabitants of this country
for nearly 3,000 years, not to mention that Iraq
is the birthplace of their supreme grandfather,
Lord Abraham al-Khalil, peace be upon him."
We say that the sons of this homeland, since the
existence of the Jews was known, were wary of their danger
and tried to repel their harm, and that this
relationship was never good except to the extent
of the true citizens overlooking the evils
of Judaism, which never blended with any people of the
world and never knew loyalty to a land or a homeland
at any time in history.
We have one request, which is for Senator
Ezra Menachem and other Israelis to avoid dragging
"our master Abraham al-Khalil, peace be upon him!"
into this popular struggle between Jewish ambitions
and the legitimate rights of defense held by the sons
of this homeland against the Zionist danger and Jewish
deceit. We expected the Jews to bring up this lineage
and claim they are descendants of Abraham al-Khalil,
but even if this were true—which it is
not—it would not change anything,
for all of humanity, according to heavenly religious
beliefs, meets at Adam and Eve! And all that comes
from the persistence of mentioning Abraham al-Khalil,
Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and other
prophets, is that the people in this homeland become more
resentful of these methods of deceptive, numbing
propaganda, and the matter may even lead to weakening
the beliefs of some of them.
Finally, what we hope is for Senator Ezra
Menachem Daniel to put an end to his provocation of
popular sentiment; his mocking positions toward
this sentiment have multiplied. If Ezra were a deputy in
Britain, he would certainly have failed, just as similar
Jews failed in the recent parliamentary elections,
regardless of their parties, whether they were
Liberals, Labor, or Conservatives.
That is because the intoxication of Judaism after the establishment of Israel
has awakened all of humanity and alerted people
everywhere to the Jewish danger to all of
mankind.

Regarding the Real Estate Rent Control Law
The following was received from the signatory for publication:
Al-Zaman newspaper published in one of its recent
issues a report stating that a draft law has recently been referred
to the Council of Ministers regarding the abolition of the
Real Estate Rent Control Law, for study and action
towards its enactment because there is no longer a need for it
from now on. I wish to state that the abolition of the
Rent Control Law is premature,
and its invalidation or abolition would not only
cause great harm, but might also be a cause
for public outcry as long as the nightmare of
poverty looms over the members of the poor and middle
classes, especially in such
extraordinary circumstances currently being experienced by
the world. The claim that real estate rental prices
have decreased is incorrect and does not align
with reality, just as the occurrence of some activity in
the construction movement did not affect that, and
if there is anything of this sort, it is partial
and not worth mentioning, and it cannot be taken
as evidence for enacting this law because
the house whose rent in the year
1942 was fifty dinars, for example, is not rented
now for less than a hundred ⟦...⟧
now like smuggling, manipulation, freezing,
and the suspension of commercial transactions by
Jews and others who have become Judaized, and what resulted
from that in terms of work stoppage and the spread of
unemployment and the intensification of the living crisis. So if
this law is abolished, it would
add insult to injury and may result in
disturbances whose consequences worsen little
by little whenever property owners resort to increasing
their property rents through various means
and methods.
Therefore, we hope that the current government
will not proceed with abolishing this law, and we also
request the National Assembly to work on not
legislating it in service of the public interest and as a balance
to the existing difficult circumstances.
A Tenant
The (Tenant) has missed
referring to the necessity of
amending the Real Estate Rent Control Law on
the basis of reducing current rents by a fair
percentage given the current economic situation.
Almost everything has decreased except
rents, which have remained ⟦...⟧
My Economic Corner
Beware.. Beware!!!
...Jews have recently resorted to (consensual settlement) in paying
debts owed to them by others, and they followed the method of (accelerated payment) in exchange for a discount agreed
upon by both parties to discount financial papers before the maturity date. To save by this
what can be saved of their wealth for the purpose of transferring and smuggling it abroad. So the debtors rushed
to them, thinking this is an opportunity that must not be missed, and should not be lost, forgetting
that this opportunity is a (distress) as most debtors among businessmen or
(producers) invested these (debts) in production for a (commission). Accordingly,
repaying debts at such a time is a blow to production, and a
hellish plan intended to paralyze the commercial and financial movement by extinguishing debts
using productive capital!! Which leads to the spread of unemployment and a standstill,
and a large number of unemployed people, a plan mentioned in the third report of the Zionist
resolutions, which stated the following: (Hate is intensified by the economic crisis that stops
every financial transaction. And every industrial movement, and after orchestrating a (general crisis) by hidden
means and thanks to (gold), we throw groups of workers into the alleys at one time,
so ignorance and naivety drive them to rise up against individuals they have looked upon with envy
since childhood, so they spill their blood and loot their money) and this is all the Jews want!!
So beware, beware of their hellish plan and refrain, refrain from accepting consensual
settlements and discounting papers before the maturity date!!! In these circumstances
at least!!!

Colloquial poetry in mourning of the firemen who
met their death during their glorious struggle while
extinguishing the fire that broke out in a Jewish Khan
in Bab al-Agha. We can state that Al-Yaqaza is not
accustomed to publishing colloquial poetry, despite its appreciation
for the feelings of the folk poet and his poetic talent.
( O Flag )
This is the title of a poem of living poetry
by Haji Mohammed al-Sheikh Bandar from Afak, dedicated
to Al-Yaqaza; it is of pride and enthusiasm from
his diwan - Flowers of the Countryside - which is being printed.
We would have liked to publish such a poem,
but before the Palestine disaster; as for now,
no Arab has the right - in our view - to take pride
in poetry or prose until the Arabs take their revenge,
and wash away their shame in Palestine. So, our apologies
to our literary poet!

Researches of the Egyptian Diplomatic Conference
Cyprus 6 - S.A. -
Reuters agency says, based on informed sources in Cairo, that the conference of Egypt's diplomatic representatives in the major capitals has discussed relations between Egypt and Britain from political and economic aspects, including the issue of sterling balances that Egypt holds against Britain. It was said that the conference pointed out the necessity of taking effective measures to eliminate propaganda directed against Egypt from abroad and giving broader powers to Egypt's diplomatic representatives in the capitals.
The Shah of Iran visits Dhaka
Cyprus 6 - S.A. -
His Majesty the Shah of Iran arrived in the city of (Dhaka) in East Pakistan yesterday noon on board a private plane, accompanied by the Governor-General of Pakistan. He was welcomed upon his arrival by a large crowd of people exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand. When the regional governor of East Pakistan and the Prime Minister of the province stepped forward to shake hands with the Shah, the cannons began firing twenty-one rounds in salute to the Iranian guest. The regional governor held an outdoor party in the afternoon in honor of the Shah.
Halima is back to her old ways...!
O God, make us oppressed like the Jews!
By Salman al-Safwani
There is nothing new in what Senator Ezra Menahem said in the Senate regarding the draft amendment to the Law of Revocation of Citizenship, as he had previously raised—more than a year ago in the Senate—an uproar about Zionism and the alleged persecution of Jews in Iraq. We have also previously refuted his claims. And here he returns today once more, confirming his first claims by exonerating the Jews from what was attributed to them, casting responsibility on others, complaining for them, and weeping over them. He brings nothing new in this regard, for Jewish propaganda throughout the world has persisted in showing Jews wherever they are as the oppressed and persecuted, to evoke sympathy, and Jews are among the most capable creatures at deception, arrogance, distorting facts, and defying realities!
No wonder then if we hear Senator Ezra Menahem saying: "I do not wish to delve into the research about the lack of reassurance and stability among the Jews of Iraq, as there is no doubt that it has not been hidden from anyone. History will show the real reasons for this migration. It will become clear that the Jews of Iraq have no connection to the incidents that our fellow citizens complain about!!"
⟦...⟧ and if it was ⟦...⟧ to anyone as he said, then is it ⟦...⟧ (real)! other than those known to all people?
We do not hate researching these reasons, and they are truly worthy of research. The Jews lived under the protection of the Arabs for many generations and long ages, in the luxury of blessings, until they favored them over themselves, and enabled them in everything in their country's facilities and resources of livelihood, while they were outcasts of nations and fugitives of horizons among other peoples in the West. This state of affairs remained this way until a few years ago, so what happened?
What happened is that the Jews gathered in their entirety to invade Palestine, usurp it, and expel the Arabs from it after committing the most heinous atrocities. Let Senator Ezra Menahem remember that he is the one who documented a history for Zionism in Iraq since the beginning of the British occupation. Let him also remember that Zionism has played a dangerous role in Jewish institutions and among their ranks since then, i.e., more than 30 years ago. This means that the Jews in Iraq have contributed a large share to the establishment of the national home and the establishment of the Jewish state. Senator Ezra knows that this contribution was not limited to donating huge sums of money to Tel Aviv or establishing colonies and founding companies in the names and money of Iraqi Jews—and who knows, the rejecter Salima Murad, for example, owns 40 percent of the shares of the Oil Company in Palestine. Rather, the contribution exceeded money to volunteering with lives to fight the Arabs, and we have the identities from the IDs of the Jewish Iraqi youth who were killed in the ranks of the Haganah, taken from them during the battles, including some girls. This is in addition to the weapons and explosives that were smuggled to Tel Aviv and which were seized in Jewish homes in Baghdad especially. The case of (Adas) is too famous to mention, as even tanks were smuggled to Tel Aviv. The Jews of Iraq were rewarded for their great services to Tel Aviv by appointing two or three ministers from among them, and we mentioned their names on previous occasions!
This is from the general side. As for inside Iraq, they have done wonders in every aspect of life there, as they put a hellish plan to control the economic facilities, seize lands and financial stocks and speculate on them until they raised their prices to a fictional level, thus confusing the economic situation, unsettling the trade movement, paralyzing activity, and defying public opinion and provoking it in an unprecedented manner in every small and large matter, even that a Jewish employee in the Treasury was driven by his internal hatred to write in his handwriting on official papers ("Save Ink Stamp") instead of the word Palestine, in addition to other things that would take long to explain. This is some of all that if we dedicated a large volume to it, it would not contain their atrocities. Is it said after this that the Jews of Iraq have no connection to the painful incidents that Iraqis complain about, which are incidents the least described as (High Treason)? If the government took disciplinary action against this overt treason other than what the minds of officials came up with by revoking citizenship from those who fled and did not return, and those who wish to migrate from the country, while the Iraqis themselves endured colors of harm merely for the suspicion that they were shaking the general comfort, in circumstances less important than these for the interest of the country.

Nothing saves the ship but insults..!!
- The Situation -
... Financial crisis. Smuggling of money. Jewish migration. Spread of unemployment.
High prices. Weak purchasing power. Shortage in production. Lack of product protection.
Absence of cooperation. Outbreak of illiteracy. Educational curricula. Confusion in ideas. Loss of
freedom. Malnutrition. Prevalence of diseases. Selling (belongings)!! The refugee problem.
The emergence of Israel and others... and others that are beyond count or limit!!
- The Solution -
Poems. Articles. Statements. (Chants) Appointments! Threats. Menace.
Insults. Cursing. Vilification. Stabbing. Wounding. Screaming. Wailing. Chanting. Argument . . .
Et cetera!!
- The Result -
That migration will continue whether the Arabs like it or not, and can the Arabs stand in the face of
the Jews?? Or express an opinion on this matter? Hundreds of ships will head to Palestine
carrying Jews, and the Arabs will accept this after it becomes a fait accompli
(Palestine in the Post-War World by Ben-Gurion)!!!
- Comment -
The ship is in the open sea, fighting the waves, struggling against the wind!! and fighting
destiny!! Its passengers exchange insults and trade curses, then one asks
the other: when do we reach the shore!!!?
Pediatrics Conference
The Ministry of Social Affairs has agreed to
participate in the pediatrics study conference
which will be held in Paris during next month
for a period of four months to study abnormal cases

has written to the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers
requesting its approval for Iraq's participation in
these studies and the nomination of two doctors for that.
In our Foreign Legations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has agreed to rent
an independent building in New Delhi to be used as
a headquarters for the Iraqi legation there. Also,
political relations will return between Iraq
and Italy soon by establishing two legations
for the two countries here and there.
The Jewish Bomb Case!
The officer of Bab al-Sheikh station is still
continuing his investigations and inquiry into the bomb incident
which exploded several days ago near the
Al-Firdous Cinema when Nazima Salih fell
to the ground.
Statements from a large number of
witnesses have been recorded, who confirmed that the accused was
hiding the bomb under her abaya, given that there was
no passerby or car in the street
at the time of its explosion. The aforementioned accused
was discharged yesterday from the hospital and transferred
to general detention by order of the investigating judge.
In a future issue, we will publish new details about
this incident and the report of the technical expert Dr.
Kawi regarding the shrapnel found near
the accused.

personalities and well-known nationalists in Pakistan.
He has previously rendered great services
for which the Iraqi trade delegation and others are grateful
at the Islamic Economic Conference.
Brother, the Snow Surrounds Us...!
This is the title of the moving poem
by the young nationalist poet Mr. Adnan al-Rawi,
the lawyer. We will publish it the day after tomorrow, so let
the readers' attention be drawn to it.
A Call to Honorable Nationalists
O jealous nationalist - boycott the (Jewish) furniture
sold at public auction.. as it contains various microbes
and diseases..
By your boycott - you provide your nation a service and deliver
a blow to your enemies.
And do not forget that the money with which you buy this furniture..
will flee from your country to the country of your enemy and turn into bullets aimed at your chest,
and a weapon with which they invade your homeland. And you will become in difficult financial distress . .
... Remember .. Remember this .. Always

* Those flocking to Jewish auctions
among Arabs and Muslims set a
shameful example of stupidity and lack of insight,
forgetting that every dirham they pay to the Jews as a price
for what they buy of their (antiques) turns after
a while into bullets aimed at their hearts.
* The (antique) furniture that people
buy out of negligence from Jewish auctions in
these days is contaminated with various microbes
carrying infectious diseases such as tuberculosis
and syphilis, and all other diseases,
so understand that you are only buying ailments
and illnesses for yourselves with your money!
* If our young men and women performed their national
duties to the fullest extent - they would have been able
to make the poor public understand the necessity of
boycotting Jewish auctions, because of the resulting
material and moral damages
to this nation. However, our patriotism - as
it appears - is limited to talk and boasting
only. This is your field, O youth of the nation,
so save what can be saved of the national wealth
lest what remains of it leaks into the pockets of the
Jews to fight you with it later!
* Yesterday and the day before yesterday, we also published
the promotion lists in the railways.
Perhaps the readers have noticed that the majority
of those promoted are Jews, and that they constitute about
70 percent of the total, and despite this,
Ezra Menahem claims that the Jews
are oppressed, oh what a wonder!!
* (Travel is tomorrow!) This is the song
that every Jew repeats in these days
after the issuance of the law appending the law for the revocation
of citizenship, but they hear nothing from us
except the saying: (To wherever Um Qash'am has cast her pack!)
* The migration of Jews from Iraq
to Hell may cause some gaps in the Iraqi
economic situation, and we accept this
temporary sacrifice happily and contentedly, however, we
hope the national youth will fill the
void immediately by turning to commercial
businesses, and we ask the Directorate of Imported
Funds to take their hands and strengthen
their resolve! instead of standing in their way on
the basis of (The old stays as it was!)

Boycott them as they have boycotted you!
By Salman al-Safwani
The Arab nation has never been afflicted by a calamity in ancient and modern history like
its affliction with the Jews now. Empires and states have tried to colonize the Arab
lands, or subject them to their political and economic influence, but they were not able to
make the Arab world a colony for them. Rather, the Arabs were able to prove their existence
and struggle against their colonizers until they were able to expel them from their lands or at least weaken
their influence. However, colonialism in its various forms does not mean the displacement of the people of the land
from their countries and replacing them with a people foreign to them. As for our situation with the Jews today,
it differs from everything we have known in history, and from all that we have known of the concepts
of colonialism and exploitation.
For the Jews are a people unlike any other among the nations; the world spat them out and nations expelled them,
so they all headed out not to take revenge on those who spat them out and expelled them, but to invade the Arabs who had treated them
well. It is a unique invasion of its kind, an invasion aimed at expelling the inhabitants from their homes, looting
their money, killing them, and violating their honor so that they can replace the original inhabitants.
And this is exactly what happened in Palestine only a year ago!
And looted, stricken Palestine is not the entire goal that the Jews seek to
achieve in their organized invasion. Rather, it is the point of (leverage) from which they will leap to the rest of
the neighboring Arab countries first, and what lies beyond them second, and so on. Perhaps researching
this is redundant, as everyone knows what the Jews aim for, and what they are plotting
for the Arabs. And here we are hearing from the vagabonds who decided to emigrate from Iraq
to Hell, addressing their brothers and relatives saying: Farewell, we shall return to you as conquerors!
This may be idle talk and pipe dreams, but it is in any case
an expression of what is going on in their minds. We have seen them saying and doing, while we say and do
not. And here they are today waging against us in every one of our countries an economic war
alongside the war of nerves. We were not oblivious to this; we have previously sounded
the alarm bell, and warned the nation of what surrounds it until our pens wore out, our inkwells dried up,
and our voices became hoarse. Some officials used to accuse us of exaggeration, and some accused us of bias
until the event occurred, and the facts were revealed to be worse than they imagined. It used to
sting our hearts that our people were so well-intentioned and negligent to this extent!
The Jews have usurped the heart of the Arab world, and established for themselves in it a national
home, and set up a Zionist state. Nothing remains but for them to strip the Arabs of the last dirham
they own, through what they display in the markets of junk and old furniture, worn-out pots,
and broken tools, and to surround these (public auctions) with fabricated propaganda
that attracts the naive among the people, thinking they are buying them at low prices. We were horrified by
what we saw of people crowding around those auctions, not realizing that they carry diseases to
their health, including microbes of tuberculosis, syphilis, and other diseases,
and not realizing that they are being sold to them at double their prices, and not realizing that any dirham
they pay to the Jews will return to them with woe and destruction as it will turn into bullets directed
at the chests of the Arabs. And a weapon with which their country is invaded.
Regardless of all this, why this reckless rush, O people, to buy
the old furniture of the Jews? They are forced to sell it at any price because they have decided to
emigrate from Iraq to Hell, and it is difficult for them to take it with them. So be patient for a while; you will get
your desire from what they leave behind at the lowest prices. Do not rush and do not be deceived by tempting advertisements
that push you to buy from Jewish auctions so that they can rob you
of the last dirham you have!
O Iraqis, open your eyes very wide. The English deceived you with the ruins
of the worn-out war, and you lost much of your monetary wealth as a price for those ruins that
weighed like grief on your hearts, and you lost and regretted after it was too late - so do not be deceived now
by the ruins of the Jews in public auctions, knowing that these will remain for you in any case.
Every one of you must make others understand this clear fact.

Jewish Migration
From Arab Countries
Cairo - The Arab Higher Committee
in Cairo received a message from Palestine stating
therein, that there are precise instructions issued
by the Israeli government to Zionist cells
scattered in Arab countries, including the speed
of working to facilitate the migration of the largest
possible number of Jews from Arab countries to Israel
and to take measures to convert all the property
of these Jews, into movable assets, and then
smuggle them to Israel in a secure manner
that does not cause a stir like the one raised in Iraq and made
the press there insist on freezing the funds of
the Jews.

Haskeel Al-Saraf
And his two sons Yousif and Sami
This is a letter we received from Kadhimiya
We publish it literally and we hope that
the officials take interest in its content, and this is
the text of the letter:
In a point among the most important vital centers
and from the closest points linked to commercial
and economic circles in Baghdad, lies
the shop of Yousif Haskeel the Jew, who
was accused dozens of times of communism
and of his connection to the dissolved League for Combating Zionism
and was detained several times on these charges.
And beside him is the shop of his father, Haskeel Al-Saraf,
and adjacent to his father is his brother Sami Haskeel,
at the head of Al-Samawal Street
opposite the Rafidain Bank. As for what
these three practice, it is performing
public money-changing activities. We have been informed that these
three have prepared their shops
as a center where Jews of all kinds head,
Zionists and spies intending to escape
to Israel, and smugglers, to agree through them
and in their shops on the method of smuggling
and the amounts paid for smuggling under
the guise of money-changing. Therefore, we draw the attention of the responsible
authorities to them and ask them to monitor them
strictly.

No Truth to the Rumors
About the Resignation of the Suwaidi Ministry
It was rumored in Baghdad yesterday that the Suwaidi Ministry had submitted its resignation, but we
can confirm that the Ministry did not resign and will not resign because there is no reason necessitating it
or calling for resignation. We publish this and wish to inform the promoters of this false rumor among the biased
that such rumors do not affect the current government, nor do they affect the people's relationship with it.

The rumor of accepting the resignation of opposition deputies is the reason for the demonstration
Police arrest four of the demonstrators
The opposition must return to the Council by order of the people
Following the resignation of the opposition deputies from the Chamber
of Deputies, the Independence Party held a meeting
to look into what led to the resignation of the mentioned
honorable deputies. Public opinion took a
keen interest in this issue, which is considered, relative
to the current situation, serious, as it has not been customary
for 36 deputies to resign from the Council at
once, because two deputies from two different fronts
were supported by the mandate. In the Iraqi Chamber of Deputies,
there are many precedents indicating the occurrence of
incidents that have reached the stage of
scuffling by hand and have come close to
brawling. Furthermore, world parliaments feature
more than this, as there they may fight
individually and in groups, and this does not necessitate
the resignation of a deputy or deputies, as a deputy, when
disagreeing with another deputy on a political matter,
and this dispute develops into a quarrel,
then the rest of the deputies each defend the deputy who
is with them with arguments, and they may or may not
be able to reconcile.
What happened in the Council is neither strange nor
unprecedented, as a deputy, if he resigns
from the Council, his resignation is not finalized simply by
submitting it; rather, it is imperative that the Council approves
this resignation. Also, we believe that the
honorable members of the Iraqi Chamber of Deputies do not
neglect deputies famous for their political
acumen, such as the resigned members of the opposition,
nor do they agree to their withdrawal from the Council
because the existence of the opposition is an essential condition in
parliamentary assemblies, as His Excellency Al-Suwaidi said.
However, the Iraqi youth understood that this
resignation had been accepted, and this acceptance provoked them
at a time when we deny the truth of what was rumored regarding
the acceptance of the resignation of opposition deputies from the Chamber
of Deputies, as the Council has not yet considered
this resignation.
These rumors, which provoked the youth,
had a very bad effect, as approximately one hundred
students gathered near the College of Sharia in Al-Adhamiya
yesterday morning (Wednesday)
carrying banners that read:
"The people are above all" and "Down with the
government of hired tyrants." They marched
through Al-Imam Al-Adham Street, heading toward
Bab al-Muadham, in a block, while approximately another
hundred students from Al-Adhamiya High School had gathered
near the College of Law.
They had folded their banners, waiting for the arrival of the
Sharia students to join them, and they were also
trying to persuade the College of Law students to
join the demonstration, but the Law students
refused to join, which led to a
dispute between the College and High School students, and the
dispute developed into insults between some of them and
almost turned into a fight. As for the banners of
the Al-Adhamiya High School students, they were "We demand
the freezing of Jewish funds" and
"The path to the homeland is not alone,
there must be a union for all people."
The personal assistant to the Director of Baghdad Police
and the Assistant Police Officer of Al-Waziriyah rushed to the students gathered near
the College of Law to disperse them,
noting that they did not bring police personnel with them,
and the demonstration dispersed as soon as
they arrived.
As for the demonstration of the students of the College of Sharia, it
continued marching until it reached the square
located near the Olympic Club, and there they were joined
by the personal assistant to the Director of Baghdad Police
and the Assistant Police Officer of Al-Adhamiya, where the
demonstrators dispersed as soon as they saw them, thinking that
there was a police force behind them. Upon the return
of the demonstrators after their dispersal, the Al-Farouq Center
Police arrested four of their leaders:
Messrs. Jalil Muhammad Al-Samarrai, Ibrahim
Munir Al-Mudarris, Abd al-Majid al-Alusi,
and Ja'far Muhammad Ali. We would like to discuss the banners of
our demonstrating brothers and the reasons for their demonstration.
The slogan (The people are above all) is not
new; it is the reality, and we are surprised that
anyone would argue with them about its truth. It has been
previously stated by some members of the present government
expressing the reality that the people
are above all, and we would like to know from them who
it was that said the people are not above
everyone?!.
As for the slogan (Down with the government of hired
tyrants), there is some unfairness toward the
present government, as we—and they are with us—
witness the efforts being made by the existing government
for the sake of the people's comfort and tranquility,
and we feel, and do not forget, its zeal
for public morals and its work to combat
prostitution, gambling, and bribery, and to strike the hands of
harassers and help the needy, as was demonstrated
in housing the residents of the shacks in areas
far from danger and providing pure water
and electricity for them. This does not indicate that
a government performing these actions aimed at the
public good is a government of tyrants. As for their saying
"hired," it is correct, as the members of the present government
receive salaries from Iraq, not
from others, and they serve the Iraqi people,
not others; they have been hired and employed by
the Iraqi people to serve them, and what a salary it is,
and they have served well.
We do not wish to be with the opponents of the
opposition, but we say to the opponents
that your duty necessitates your return
to Parliament to defend your
beliefs and to explain to the citizen the reason
that led to your resignation, and to work to
ensure it is not repeated and to prevent its recurrence,
if this reason alone is what led
to this resignation. But if there are
other reasons, then we demand and insist on the demand,
hoping from you, or rather ordering you in the name of the people
whom you represent, to return to the struggle for the sake of
what you considered in your resignation letter that
necessitated this resignation, and to work
as deputies for the Iraqi people who entrusted you
with their destiny and sent you by their order to the Council
to work on removing what you considered a reason
for your resignation. However, if you withdraw and leave it and benefit,
then you have not fulfilled the trust that the Iraqi people placed
around your necks, and you ⟦failed⟧ when tested
to preserve it.
As for the slogan (We demand the freezing of
Jewish funds), we reassure our honorable demonstrating
brothers that the government has learned of this,
and we believe that a statement will be issued, if it hasn't
already been issued, in this regard.
This is a small word we offer to the opposition
and the demonstrators, hoping that we have succeeded
in what we aimed for by writing it, and God is the ultimate goal.

they are asking him to return to fulfill the contractual duty.

* Many have asked me about what the Jews are doing
in terms of transferring their houses to new names
for amounts less than the mortgage amounts, and the truth
is that I did not realize the purpose of this game except
to obtain any amounts of cash possible,
to smuggle it through private means outside the scope

* A person working in financial affairs told me:
that the Jews are smuggling revenue stamps

So why do you wander in its darkness?
My dear homeland, you have been afflicted with politicians

The Status of Jews in Iraq
As explained by His Excellency the Minister of Interior
His Excellency Mr. Saleh Jabr, Minister of Interior, said: We know - and Ezra Menachem
also knows - that a significant portion of the Jewish (citizens) carried out actions that were not consistent
with the interest of the country. Not only this, but they harmed the country and its interests
through these actions. Perhaps among the motives that drive a large part of the members of this community
are political and religious motives that have become centered in the minds of these people.

In order to protect national wealth
The Foreign Exchange Department issued the following statement:
In view of the issuance of the law supplementing the decree on stripping citizenship and to ensure the application of the provisions of
the Foreign Exchange Control Law, the Foreign Exchange Control Committee has decided to allow
Jews who are stripped of their citizenship under the above law to take with them
transfers that do not harm liquid assets, equivalent to the following amounts upon their final departure from Iraq:
A - Twenty dinars for a Jew aged ten years or younger.
B - 30 dinars for a Jew who is over ten years old and less than
twenty years old.
C - 50 dinars for a Jew aged twenty years and older.
Foreign Exchange Controller
Al-Fath: The Jews will not be so foolish as to go to the Foreign Exchange Department
to obtain permission to take out the sums; they smuggle them months and weeks before traveling.
Limiting these amounts will not shed sufficient light on the core of this issue, so it is necessary to
take extreme caution against Jewish attempts whose methods are hidden from no one, in order to
protect the national wealth from leaking abroad.
Withdrawal of the Awqaf Bill
We have learned that His Excellency Mr. Jamil
al-Orfali, Minister of Awqaf Affairs, has
signed a letter to withdraw the Awqaf Law bill
from the Parliament, in response
to the request of religious scholars.
We can say that His Excellency al-Orfali
thereby left a good impression on the hearts of the scholars,
as he stood by them against those
whose primary concern was to eliminate religious activities
and push religious men out of the way.
We would like on this occasion for the government to form
a committee of religious men to correct
the errors in the bill and direct it to the benefit of
the Waqf and its people, and then return it to
the legislation.
⟦... It is necessary to⟧ take the initiative
to address the matter in a way that ensures
the weak classes receive the sympathy and relief
they deserve.
We suggest that your ministry undertake
a comprehensive relief project to save the unemployed,
the disabled, the orphans, and the homeless from the poverty
and misery they suffer. No doubt this is
at the heart of the duties of your esteemed ministry.
In this regard, we suggest that a

Another Proof...
The issuance of the law supplementing the decree
revoking Iraqi citizenship from Jews
fleeing or those who wish to leave
Iraq had a deep resonance and a prominent impact among
all classes of the nation, and was met with satisfaction
greatly by all those familiar with the movements
of the Jews who were determined to leave
Iraq through illegal means, for
this law has put - as we said before -
an end to these movements and eliminated the gangs
that were working night and day to smuggle Jews,
as it also removed the danger of the remaining elements who do
not feel toward the country the feelings of a correct
citizen.
And while public opinion glorifies the successful
step of the government in enacting this
law and its resolution of this complex knot
which was the preoccupation of the people and which
previous governments were unable to put
an end to, we say despite this, this law was
met by some parties with what is not
consistent with the desire of the nation, for it was said it is a privilege
for the Jews that helps them transfer national wealth to
the destination they intend, and this statement, although
responded to in a reassuring manner during
the discussions that took place around the bill in
parliament where the government clarified
the legal guarantees that prevent the transfer
of wealth in addition to the strict and firm
measures taken to combat the smuggling
of this wealth through criminal methods, yet
some tongues continued to repeat their fears for
the country's wealth in a manner that lacks proof
and is not based on reality.
The truth is that the proud people who
perceived with keen insight characterized by experience the danger
of forcing the Jew who does not wish to
stay to remain, and appreciated the distant warnings
resulting from the situation remaining as it was
at a time when the floods of escapees
were increasing day by day, these
alert people were of great confidence and faith that
the government which arms itself with determination and takes
wisdom and whose heart is filled with sincerity for the homeland
and its children, as long as it has been able to
take the first step and decide with pride
and dignity to rise above considering the Jew who
lives bodily here but with his heart, mind,
and feelings in another country as a citizen
like other citizens, is also capable
and with all certainty to take all that is necessary
to protect the country's wealth and strike with strength
and firmness every hand that tries to violate
one penny of its public wealth, and in
light of this faith and this confidence, all that
was said in this regard evaporated and there was no longer
any way for those words to find a path to the ears.
We had hoped that those crying
over public wealth would realize the reality of the general feeling
which was reassured that there is no fear for this
wealth, and although what circulated around this
point was clear to an extent that
instilled confidence in souls, the logic of
fallacy insisted on proceeding on its
prescribed path without regard for the truth
of the matter and without realization of the results of this
fallacy for public opinion.
We do not in fact want to dwell
on the matter - and its scope is wide - out of our
desire for brevity, but we would like
to ask what the opponents of this
law see, those who took crying
over the country's wealth as material for their opposition after
the Foreign Exchange Control Committee statement was issued
which specified the amounts allowed
for each Jew planning to leave Iraq,
Is there not in this statement what cuts
the rope of opposition and closes the outlets
of speech before it and places in the hands of the nation's individuals
another practical proof of the determination of the existing
government to ensure the country's economic
safety and its vigilance in guarding the public
wealth?...
The truth.. is that the government, in enacting the
aforementioned law, took, as expressed by public opinion,
a sound and wise step toward
the elements whose presence in the
country became a danger threatening its general existence, and to the extent
of the success it achieved in that step,
is the extent of what it achieved in the Foreign Exchange Control
Committee statement which - although we did not see
a need for it - came as a conclusive argument against
whoever took fallacy as a tool, which is all
the credit they have..!!

Fatwa of the great Hujjat al-Islam, the scholar Sheikh Muhammad al-Khalisi, may God protect him
Sheikh Muhammad al-Khalisi is one of the active religious figures who couple words with action. His Eminence has not ceased fighting
destructive ideas and resisting moral vices, sometimes through his eloquent speeches and at other times through his personal influence, which
necessitated that a large group of Muslims from various sects rally around His Eminence once they learned of his
sincerity and good intentions. Al-Fath is proud that His Eminence is the first to respond to the call of religious duty
and provide a fatwa on a vital matter that has unsettled public opinion and occupied minds. This fatwa left no room
for those who would speculate. We hope that other fatwas from prominent scholars will reach us so that those far and near may know the Sharia ruling
in matters such as these. Below is a copy of the inquiry and His Eminence's response.

His Eminence, the Great Hujja, Imam Sheikh Muhammad al-Khalisi, may God preserve him.

Is it permissible to buy what the Jews are selling these days in public auctions, knowing that they will take the proceeds of these sales with them

19-5-1369 AH
Muhammad Hussein
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him is my trust:
God Almighty said in His glorious, firm book (And do not cooperate in sin
and aggression). What the Jews are committing in terms of sin and aggression in the
Islamic Palestinian lands against its Muslim and Christian inhabitants
is known to everyone. There is no doubt that buying their goods is an aid to them in their sins
and aggression, as evidenced by the fact that they have proceeded to sell what they have to strengthen the state of Israel
which committed those sins. God Almighty said (God only forbids you from those who
fought you in religion and drove you out of your homes and supported your expulsion
from befriending them. And whoever befriends them, it is they who are the wrongdoers). The Jews fought us in
religion because their war is purely religious, and they drove us out of our homes and supported
our expulsion. Buying their goods is a form of befriending them, which is forbidden by the text of the Holy Quran.
Buying their goods, furniture, or houses is not only a loss to Iraqi wealth
and a disruption to economies, but it also contains assistance for them
to manufacture weapons and equipment lethal to Muslims. Whoever buys something from them
is like one who manufactured a weapon to kill Muslims and like one who created for the Jews power to possess
Islamic lands and expel their people. The ruling on that is known to every Muslim,
and the buyer is like one who stood in the rank of the Jews to fight Muslims because war
can only be waged with money. Whoever gives money to the Jews intentionally is a warrior
against Muslims, and the protection of Islam is disassociated from him. If some Muslims have purchased
out of negligence before this, they must seek forgiveness from God Almighty for what they committed.
We ask Him, glory be to His Name, to protect Muslims in the future from falling into such
a great sin and major offense, and to alert them from their negligence. We have written this as a clarification
of the Sharia ruling, and as a defense of ourselves against the aggression of the Jews. They have no right
to object to that because they know that they are the aggressors.

Buying Jewish Rubbish
A Burden on the Poor and a Danger to Arabism
This newspaper had the honor of being the first to
call upon sincere citizens to boycott what
Jews wishing to emigrate are selling in terms of
spoils and old property. We indicated in
a previous editorial the necessity of people
refraining from buying these remains and replacing them
with cash, because Jews migrating to Israel
will not use our money, plundered from the
toil of the poor Iraqis, for anything other than arming the enemy
and strengthening him. Thus, our money returns as bullets and bombs into
our chests and homes in the near future. We
were pleased that some fellow publications followed the lead of
Al-Husun and participated in this national call,
which had a commendable impact in circles of
the capital, because the increase in what is displayed of these
vanishing spoils has led many
members of the poor, deprived class of females
to borrow and suffer economic exhaustion
to buy what they need from it. In that is an
unbearable affliction for this hardworking class,
and a regrettable squandering of the fruit of its toil and labor,
exposing it to even more severe misery by weighing
its shoulders down with debts for this reason. It
was expected from the zealous sons of our people, this
people who attained a great share of culture and bore
a large portion of the hardship of Zionism until it became
threatened with annihilation and being overrun by it. We say
it was expected from the sons of this people, especially
its educated youth, to make their brothers understand the
dangers resulting for the Iraqi people
in particular and the Arab peoples in general from their embarking
on buying Jewish rubbish. Therefore, we sent
the representative of this newspaper two days ago to
the auction houses in Bab al-Sharqi for clarification
and to inform the readers of Al-Husun about what is new in this
regard. Our representative brought back what rends the gallbladders
and tears the hearts! For he informed us, while regret
filled his being, that Jewish spoils
are displayed at low prices, then the price rises after
minutes until it reaches a large figure that does not equal
their prices even when they are new? So why? And who are
the zealous bidders (!) there? Our representative
says that he saw some notables and pseudo-
notables from the residents of some provinces near
the capital bringing with them large vehicles
(lorries) to load them with old Jewish
furniture after buying it at high prices
with the aim of profiting by selling it at even higher
prices to the residents of their provinces. In the face of this
painful phenomenon, we can only direct a call
to the educated youth in all provinces of Iraq,
appealing to their determination to enter the field of
national honor and ethnic dignity and to convince
the residents of their provinces, and the buyers among them in particular,
of the necessity of boycotting these auctions, explaining
to them the grave calamities resulting from buying Jewish property
for them, their descendants,
and their homelands in the near future. May
our call and the call of our colleagues find listening ears
and conscious hearts, and may all other
national newspapers also follow suit so that the call may be heard by
those who have not heard it yet.

Do not believe it!
Al-Yaqaza newspaper said in its special
columns the following:
Jewish propaganda has spread that a
Muslim man bought a cabinet from Jewish
auctions and found inside it 4,000
dinars that the Jews forgot in the cabinet. And
that a woman found 400 dinars in a pillow
she also bought from the Jews. There is no doubt
that anyone who believes these rumors is very
silly, for the Zionist would sell his religion for
a penny, so do not believe it.

Stopping the Smuggling Movement of Jews
We had clearly indicated after the issuance of the
appendix law to the decree of dropping Iraqi citizenship
that it is necessary to monitor the movement of migration
of Jews outside Iraq, and we said that
it is not permissible for national wealth to leak out
through some Jews who smuggle
their wealth and transfer their money in an
illegal manner, contrary to the statement issued by
the Foreign Exchange Controller who specified
the amounts carried by the Jew whose
Iraqi citizenship is revoked.
And our colleague, Sawt al-Ahrar of Mosul, reported
that a convoy of Jews was arrested near
Mount Hamrin with their smugglers while waiting
for a car to transport them to Tehran. After searching them,
91 gold pounds and 283 dinars in
cash were found with them, along with 100,000 Iraqi stamps of the
one dinar, half dinar, and quarter dinar denominations.
When one of them was asked about smuggling the stamps,
he replied that they carried these stamps because they are light
and easy to carry.

Work to stop the Jewish smuggling movement
After the issuance of the law revoking their citizenship
After the law appended to the decree revoking Iraqi citizenship came into effect, we have learned that
strict orders have been issued to stop the movement of smuggling Jews out of Iraq and to punish
those working on smuggling them or those fleeing with full severity, in implementation of the law and to preserve the public
wealth from leaking abroad in violation of the statement issued by the Foreign Exchange
Controller, who specified the amounts carried by Jews whose Iraqi citizenship is revoked.
Our colleague Sawt al-Ahrar from Mosul reported that a convoy of Jews was captured
near the Hamrin Mountains with their smugglers while they were waiting for a car to transport them to Tehran. After
searching them, it appeared they had 91 gold pounds, 283 dinars in cash, and 100,000 Iraqi stamps
of the one dinar, half dinar, and quarter dinar denominations. When one of them was asked about smuggling stamps,
he replied that they carried these stamps because of their lightness and ease of carrying.
And there is a harmful issue to the interest of the country
as a whole, which is the issue of Palestine. I do not want
to talk about those who caused the catastrophe of a million
refugees from the Arab population and made them
homeless, sleeping on the ground and covering themselves with the
sky, and their condition became heartbreaking,
because the Arab governments collectively are
responsible for this transgression before Israel.
Rather, I am talking about the issue of Palestine from
the perspective of its relationship with our internal life, as I
thought that the ministerial program would address the Jews of
Iraq with frankness and boldness. Gentlemen, as you
know, since the beginning of this century, the key to
money was in the hands of the Jews in Iraq, and the evolution
of the situation in Palestine had a profound impact. We see
a segment of them beginning to prepare to emigrate to Palestine.
Therefore, you find them freezing their funds, and everyone
knows that their money and furniture are sold at public auction
from morning until midnight in
Bab al-Sharqi. So I see that it is the duty of
the government to give space to those who want to travel
among them or those who want to stay on the condition of maintaining
loyalty to the state, because for those who want to travel,
there is no benefit in preventing them by forced means, so they begin
to escape through various ways and different intrigues
for a fee taken from them for the sake of smuggling them.
This is a very regrettable matter, so it is the duty of the
government to think about allowing those who want to
stay so that souls can be reassured and so that we can know
the loyal from the traitor and distinguish them, and so that
those remaining stay loyal to the state and reassured. By this
means alone, confidence will return to the souls,
or the government decides to expel all Jews. As for
the continuation of this strange, fluid situation, it is not
at all in the interest, and the government must
be firm on this subject.

A Palestinian Refugee
Warns and advises his Iraqi brothers
This is a message received from a Palestinian refugee
We publish it word for word:
Last night I passed by the street where
the auction is located where the Jews sell their belongings
and I saw people in a heavy crowd coming
to buy those worthless belongings
I was greatly pained when I witnessed that
sight which bothered me and forced me to
write these words to you, for the crowding of what
is no less than a thousand men and women approximately in
one place might suggest to the Jews one day to
place a bomb in that place and annihilate such
a large number of our brothers and sisters
Also, what is rumored about them placing a microbe
in those belongings that they sell to us is a matter
that requires extreme caution, and therefore I hope
the noble Iraqi public will stop
buying this furniture and belongings and boycott them
out of concern for the public interest, and I wonder
since the officials from whom nothing is hidden
is it hidden from them that the Jews sell their belongings
and properties for money they put in foreign
banks and leave for Palestine and from there
they withdraw this money easily, so have the
officials thought about this?
I also wonder, have the Arabs forgotten what the
Jews did to the Arabs of Palestine and how they drove them out
from their homes, and if they remember, why do they not treat
the Jews with the same treatment they treated us with? And with
all this, I offer my advice to the noble
Iraqi people and I ask them to stop
buying Jewish furniture and boycott it completely
And peace be upon you.

The Law for Revoking Citizenship of Jews
And Its Echo in the Press of the Arab Countries
A Bold Step Taken by His Excellency Al-Suwaidi's Government
Damascus - Al-Hadara newspaper
published here, commented on the law for revoking citizenship
of Iraqi Jews who wish to
leave Iraq permanently, saying:
It is only fair and realistic to
recognize that the practical steps
taken by Iraq to ward off the danger
of Zionism, especially inside Iraq,
are steps characterized by great foresight
and a great deal of courage and heroism.
However, a non-Iraqi naturally appreciates
the importance of that massive stance taken by
Iraq regarding the Jews in the sister country.
They number around one hundred and seventy thousand,
and they dominate the Iraqi economy
in bulk and detail, a complete dominance. Among
the manifestations of that, you see that Baghdad, the capital
of Al-Rashid and Al-Ma'mun, is on Saturday,
for example, in a holiday that is almost complete.
Banks, money changers, and large commercial markets
remain closed on that day, so there is no
taking, giving, selling, or buying!
It is natural that all commercial transactions
of export, import, and brokerage are in the
hands of the Jews and no one else.
Add to that the infiltration of those people into
various state departments; among them are many
doctors, pharmacists, lawyers, professors,
officers, heads of bureaus, accountants,
and so on. They also own
vast properties, palaces, and buildings that
cannot be counted. It is enough to
know that the "Bataween" neighborhood, which
is a neighborhood similar to the Abu Rummaneh neighborhood, is
their private neighborhood built in the modern style.
In short, it can be said without hesitation,
that regarding trade and economy,
specifically, they are everything in Iraq,
especially in Baghdad. Add to that they
occupy a significant number of seats in
government schools. Hardly any school is
free of them, whether it be elementary,
intermediate, or higher.
This is a brief word on the situation of the Jews in
Iraq. Therefore, the action of the current government
today in Baghdad to issue a law allowing
emigration for Jews and making every Jew who leaves
Iraq lose his Iraqi citizenship is a matter
of immense gravity. And if this
shows us anything, it shows us that the Suwaidi government
has decided seriously and with unyielding
firmness to liquidate the Jewish issue in
Iraq, despite what the economic situation
is exposed to in terms of confusion and disturbance. And whatever
is said regarding the removal of the Jews from the Iraqi
region, it is an action involving firmness,
sincerity, and nerves as strong as iron or
even stronger. Above all, it gives us an idea of the
true manhood possessed by the men of
the current ministry in Baghdad.
I used to hear from many
friends who studied in Germany, that
the Germans committed a great mistake in removing
the Jews from their country because they were
everything in that state; the press, news companies,
banks, financial institutions, trade
of various types, and education in universities,
and so on, were all in their hands and under their absolute
control. If we add to all that what was
among them—meaning among the German Jews—of scientists,
inventors, authors, writers, and so on,
we realize what the Germans undertook when
they decided to get rid of that dangerous element.
Nevertheless, the Germans managed their affairs and
the sky did not fall to the earth as the
Jews used to spread when Hitler took that
well-known stance toward them.
And speaking of the appendix to the Iraqi Citizenship Law
which was approved by the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate
and has become an established fact. We wish
to draw the attention of other Arab governments
to follow Iraq's lead
and draft a law by which every Jew
who seeks refuge in Israel is considered to have lost his citizenship. Provided
that his assets be subject to confiscation and
that the government works to freeze them as
the Jews did with the assets of the Arabs.
In this case, and no other, we establish
our existence and put the dots on the letters.
There is nothing to prevent the state of Israel from confiscating
the assets of the Arabs while we in turn cease
confiscating the assets of Jews who flee
secretly to Israel.
Iraq has given us a living example in its daring
to issue such a law as we mentioned.
So we must proceed on the same path it
took, knowing that Iraq will suffer
a shock in its markets and economy as a result of
the steps it has taken, while we will
not be exposed to any of that at all.
And how wonderful it would be if Syrian economic leaders
thought about taking the hands of their Iraqi
brothers and helping them stabilize their economy
at that critical juncture. Especially if
we know that the door is wide open for them.

Ratification by His Royal Highness the Regent
of the Law for the Deprivation of Citizenship from Jews
The Law Supplementing the Decree on the Deprivation of Iraqi Citizenship No. (62) of the year
1933, regarding the deprivation of citizenship from Jews wishing to leave Iraq permanently, was ratified by
His Royal Highness the Regent and became effective from the date of its publication in the Iraqi Gazette
last Thursday, March 9, 1950. This law will remain in effect for one year
according to its fifth article, and its implementation may be suspended before that by Royal Decree.
Clarification regarding Jews
leaving Iraq
The following was received by us from an official source:
Iraqi Jews who intend to leave Iraq permanently and who will be deported
from Iraq after their Iraqi citizenship is dropped according to the Law Supplementing the Decree
on the Deprivation of Iraqi Citizenship No. (62) of the year 1933, No. (1) of the year 950, will
not be allowed to return to Iraq. Therefore, it is necessary to draw attention to this aspect
so that any person who has a debt with any such Jew or a financial relationship with him may collect
his debt or settle his financial relations with him before he is allowed to leave Iraq.

★ The (escape) of the Jews continues
Despite the law that was recently enacted,
In which they were given the (choice) to stay or (migrate)
to where.. it seems they see that
escaping is the shortest way, and the easiest
means to achieve their goals! In addition
to the thrill of adventure in escaping.
To the Ministry of Education
And to Ezra Menachem Daniel
1- In Abu Nuwas Street. And within
two steps of each other are two large houses
rented by the Ministry of Education to be
two primary schools for girls, one of which is
Al-Sharqiya Primary for Girls and the second
Al-Bataween Primary for Girls. And the
Ministry of Education spends on these two schools
nearly twenty thousand dinars annually.
All this for the sake of science and its dissemination. But
the students of these two schools are all Jewish women.
Those whose houses are near that neighborhood. And
if they were not all, then they are. It was found in the hands
of some of those Zionist circles printed chants
including the Zionist national anthem.
Despite all that, the number of students has begun
to decrease lately because they have started
to migrate with their families, or who knows, perhaps
they migrated alone... to hell.
Does the Ministry of Education see a necessity
after all this for these two schools to remain?
And what does the Senator Ezra Menachem Daniel want
more than this (pampering) for the Jews whose
rear guard (he) is protecting during their withdrawal?
2- At a time when it is demanded that
Iraqi ministries wake up from
their slumber and expel the renegade traitors of
Israel's types, the Ministry of Education appointed two nurses
in the health departments affiliated with it. So why?
And are there no women among the nationals capable of
performing such tasks?
(S. I. D.)
The Jews died. Peace be upon you
Iraq is not in danger
Why this fear of the Jews leaving?
By: A. H. B.
Much has been said about the ratification
of the bill to revoke Iraqi citizenship from
Jews who migrate from Iraq, and the
brothers of the Jews have begun to exaggerate
its results and made that an omen of evil for
Iraq and for the Palestinian cause, and the
motive for some of these may be their short-sightedness in
the scientific and practical results of this bill.
We can divide the results of the Jews leaving
Iraq according to this bill into
four sections: (first) political, (second)
military, (third) economic, and (fourth)
financial or monetary.
As for the political results of this law,
it has stuffed a stone into the mouths of American Jews and those who sympathize
with them in their propaganda claiming that
Iraq persecutes Jews in order to gain
the world's sympathy on one hand and to justify
their persecution of our Arab brothers in Palestine
on the other hand.
As for the military aspect, we
will get rid of the fifth column which is
more lethal to the country than trained soldiers
whose number and organizations we know and for whom we prepare
as much as we can of power to ward off their
apparent danger, and we will not be taken by surprise by treacherous
individuals living among us under the masks
of friends while they are the fiercest enemies. There is no doubt
that the Jews going to Palestine may increase
the strength of the Jews, but if they do not go to
Palestine, other educated European Jews will go
to Israel's limited territory. Thus,
Iraqi Jews occupying Israel is better for us
than European Jews occupying it because of what we know of
their cowardice and their lack of military and technical
training compared to the trained European Jews
most of whom participated in the last
World War.
As for the economic aspect, I see
it appropriate to tell (in advance) the story of
Umar ibn al-Khattab and the Nabataean:
When the Arab armies conquered Iraq during
the era of Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab, there was
a Nabataean money changer whom the campaign commander, Sa'd
ibn Abi Waqqas, trusted and made his job to change state funds
in Iraq, handing over what he collected
from tribute and taxes and taking from him what
he needed for the salaries of his leaders and soldiers of
the Mujahideen. So when paying allowances
and salaries, the heroes of the Arab armies' leaders would go
to this Nabataean money changer to take
their salaries from him. However, this man began
to grow arrogant and vanity took him to the point that
he would stall these heroes in paying their salaries
on one hand and treat them harshly on the other
hand, relying on the fact that it would be difficult for Sa'd to
find someone else to take his place in Iraq. When
the leaders despaired of referring to their leader Sa'd
ibn Abi Waqqas, they raised their complaint to the Caliph
Umar. Umar wrote to Sa'd to preserve the dignity
of his leaders from the vanity of this Nabataean money changer.
Sa'd informed him that financial matters would
be disrupted without him and economic chaos
would prevail as a result. When Umar was troubled
by the complaint of his leaders in Iraq and saw
that this complaint was justified, he wrote to Sa'd
ibn Abi Waqqas this eternal sentence: "The Nabataean died, and peace," and the meaning of this sentence
is clear, which is: what will you do upon the death of this
Nabataean? So Sa'd replaced him with a Muslim Arab money changer
who felt his responsibility as a citizen, and financial matters
proceeded better than they were during the era of
that Nabataean.
And now, let those who fear this
bill and who doubt the success of the phase of
transferring the economic system from the hands of the Jews
to the Arabs allow me to say to them, "The Jews died,
and peace." What will Iraq do if
these Jews die or flee from Iraq?
Should we not rely on controlling
the economy of our country and preserve
our economic independence, which is the cornerstone
of political independence? And does it not
please us to enter our commercial
markets and banks and find all their men
from the national elements who work together
for the good of their country and do not feel that they are
foreign elements to this country? And is it not enough
what the Jews spread of chaos in our markets
and economies and what they did of artificial,
exorbitant prices?
Enough of your fear, O people, of the exit of these
lethal parasites from the body of this beloved
homeland. There were many like you who
warned Hitler against allowing Jewish scientists
and economists among them to leave
Germany for fear of disrupting the situation there. Hitler
wanted the German citizens to rely
on themselves in managing their country in various
scientific, economic, and commercial fields... etc. The German
people actually succeeded in that. As for Germany's military
defeat, it was not caused by the Jews leaving it,
but by other factors such as the Russian winter of 1942
and others that everyone knows.
As for the financial or (monetary) results, they
are: let us assume that these Jews will
take out with them large sums of Iraqi
dinars, and let us ask what they will do with them
outside Iraq. They must exchange them
for foreign currency to benefit from them, like the Iranian
Rial or the Kuwaiti Rupee or the French
Franc, etc. And what will the foreign banks
or foreign suppliers do with them? Will
they keep them indefinitely in their vaults
outside Iraq? The answer is undoubtedly no,
for (in the long run) they will inevitably return them
in exchange for Iraqi goods, which will cause
a revival of Iraqi exports.
The Jews who leave Iraq must
inevitably return to it sooner or
later. "The Jews died, and peace," and they will die
a real death in Palestine in our next round
with them, God willing.

Secret Orders for the Jewish Fifth Column
To Blow Up and Destroy Installations in Egypt
Israel orders Jews in Arab countries to emigrate and smuggle their money to it as its subjects
Cairo - The Secret Intelligence Department
of the Egyptian Army managed to get its hands on
serious reports proving that Zionist messengers in Egypt
have been asked to carry out attempts to sabotage
Egyptian Army sites, its gathering places,
and war effort zones
Zionist Purpose
The purpose aimed at by the Zionists
behind this sabotage is to spread chaos
and unrest in the country so that it becomes easy for
Zionist forces to carry out a surprise attack
during this period and place Egypt before a fait
accompli, so it submits to the conditions dictated by these gangs
that guarantee the continued existence of their state
and its recognition by the Arab countries
Initial Attempts
It has been proven from the reports obtained
by the Secret Intelligence Department that instructions
were sent to Zionist agents in Egypt
to sabotage military installations at
times specified for each of them, and there have
already been initial attempts to implement this idea
but the responsible authorities became aware of the matter in
due time and tightened the guard
over military installations and sites and took
precautions ensuring the frustration of every
attempt of this kind
Destruction and Blasting Squads
The Jewish army is working on training
commandos and special squads for destruction and blasting
These squads have been provided with maps of Arab capitals
showing their most important streets, buildings,
and important centers
Building Solomon's Temple
Reliable secret news reports
that the Jews announced in the city of Chicago
in the United States a structure or building for Solomon's Temple
according to how it was before its destruction in
the first century AD, and this building is made
of wood and iron and can be dismantled into
parts and will be taken to be transported to
Palestine to be ready for the immediate rebuilding of Solomon's
Temple in the place of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque
when the Jews occupy the remaining parts of
the city of Jerusalem
All military circles have taken interest
in these orders issued by the Government of
Israel to the Fifth Column in Egypt
to blow up military installations, destroy
ammunition, and sabotage airports, and
precautions were taken to thwart their effect.

Daily Glimpses
Consequences of the People
By Mr. Ali Abdul-Rikabi
I said to my friend Al-Safwani:
- I have accepted your opinion and yielded to your desire, and here I am writing this column for you,
but I forgot to reach an understanding with you on an important matter.
He smiled his innocent smile that recognizes no borders or obstacles and sees in
life only a clear and obvious right from the respondent that it should not be ours! But I decided
not to be taken by this smile and continued my speech, saying:
- I forgot to inform you that what I will write will not be acceptable to many,
and you might expose (Al-Yaqdha) to a campaign launched against it from all fronts. As for me,
I will not care because I always represent myself with the famous verses of Al-Mutanabbi and know well that
(my heart is in a sheath of arrows) ... so what is your position?
The same smile returned to his face, but this time he followed it
with words in which he said:
- Has the anger of the rulers towards me or (Al-Yaqdha) ever frightened me before?
- But I will not target the rulers! I have no business with them.
- And then?!..
- The people, my brother! And the individuals of the people...
As soon as Al-Safwani heard the word (the people), he began to debate me as if he wanted
to divert me from what I intended and plunge me into that endless series of our
weekly arguments. But I realized his game, so I cut off his speech and said:
- I will subject the people and individuals of the people to bitter criticism. The people might get agitated because of
that and attack the office of (Al-Yaqdha) and burn it.
Al-Safwani smiled again and said:
- Write and do not be afraid. For (the people) who would attack the office of (Al-Yaqdha)
is on the verge of departing!

Islamic countries are still at war with the Zionists
Jews are a fifth column in the Arab countries
The noble Damascene Al-Fayhaa said:
The measure that the Iraqi government decided
to take finally against the Jews of its country, by stripping
those who leave the country illegally
of their Iraqi citizenship, is a measure
that calls for attention, especially since Iraq
acted alone without the rest of the sister states
even though such a decision should have
come from the Arab League first. However,
the insignificance of the League to its members and its insignificance
to the outside world and to itself
as well, has made unilateral action,
it seems, a familiar thing in these
days. And while we are not supporters of
unilateral action, we realize what
the member states themselves mostly realized,
that the League has "long snares"
with which the matter presented for discussion may die
before a decision is taken or implemented,
just as the Palestinian cause died completely and as the
refugee issue is expected to die if the League does not
take a firm stance towards it.
We do not know in any case, if
Iraq's decision stops at the limit of stripping
citizenship from Jews who leave
the country illegally, or if it
goes beyond that to more. But we
estimate that Iraq did not proceed to
take this decision except under the pressure of an urgent
need, and perhaps the dangerous documents that
were discovered in Egypt about the activity of Zionist
agents and their attempt to sabotage the positions
of the Egyptian army and spread chaos
and unrest in the country, shed light
on what Iraq has done, or rather perhaps they
shed light on the situation of Jews in the Arab
countries in general.
We do not like to remind the Arab countries that
a state of war still exists between them and
the Zionists because we fear that there is in
this reminder what might disturb their dreams,
but we like to draw their attention to the fact that
much evidence has been provided that some
subjects of these countries among the Jews, and
especially the countries of Iraq, Egypt, and Yemen,
religious fanaticism has overcome them and they sided
with the Zionist state in Palestine and were
for it a fifth column and a germ of corruption in
the country whose citizenship they hold and which was
kind to them in distress and hardship and secured
their lives and properties. And we do not rule out
at all that the Zionists have relied
on the Palestine war while being provided
with the necessary information about the capabilities of each
Arab country, and information in the hand of the opponent
is more useful than a weapon.
Rest on page 4

Rest of the Secret Orders
Barbaric Orders
It was later learned that the orders
issued by the Israeli government to its agents in
Egypt and the Arab countries requested them,
in addition to carrying out acts of sabotage, to
contact the Jews residing in those countries to urge them
to liquidate their businesses and smuggle what they own
of funds to Israel as quickly
as possible, provided that everyone who liquidates
their financial position and smuggles what they own should migrate
to Israel without delay.
Traitor to Israel
Israel requested its fifth column in
Egypt and the Arab countries to make the Jews
with whom they connect understand that Israel considers
any Jew in the Arab countries who does not migrate from them
a traitor to his first homeland, Israel!!
Zionists First
These orders issued from
Israel to the fifth column concluded that
they should be cautious in undertaking this step
and that their contacts should first be with Jews
known for their Zionist tendencies among those who are easy
to convince to migrate, then contacts follow with the rest of the
Jews at appropriate times until they all migrate
from Egypt and the Arab countries with whatever
funds they have.
The Purpose of That
The internal crises Israel is suffering from,
the shortages of food materials
and important necessities it faces, and the cessation of Jews
in America from providing huge aid
to the Jewish state after they despaired of its ability
to stand on its own feet despite all that has been spent
on its behalf, were the primary factors in the issuance of these
orders to the members of the fifth column in Egypt
and the Arab countries in the hope that the capital
owned by Jews in Egypt and the Arab countries would move
to it, thereby strengthening its financial position
and enabling it to overcome the difficulties it
is currently facing and ensuring its survival after
this step.
It Begins to Reveal Itself
Evidence indicates that the fifth column
of Israel's supporters in some Arab countries
has begun to reveal itself and carry out what was requested
of it in a public and overt manner.
Effect of the Disclosure of These Orders
It is expected that the disclosure of
these orders issued from Israel
to its agents will be the subject of interest for Arab governments
in general and Egypt in particular to face the troubles
that Israel tries to stir up at every
possible opportunity.

The Jewish Bomb
Made in Baghdad !!
We mentioned in previous issues of Al-Yaqaza some
details of the bomb that exploded on Ghazi
Street near the Al-Firdous Cinema, and we add
today that the report of the expert Dr. Kawi,
who attended the scene of the accident, indicates that
the detonated bomb was locally made in Baghdad,
and that the gunpowder found in it indicates
that it was prepared by emptying three British
bullets and was mixed with small iron
pieces, and that this bomb, if it had
exploded in a crowd of people, could have killed
a large number of them. The investigation
now continues by the Bab al-Sheikh police to find out
the source of this bomb and the place where
it was made.
* The Jewish Parliament in Tel Aviv approved
a law to sell Arab property in Palestine.
As for the armistice governments, they do not see such
an opinion even regarding the property of Jews who
fled to Tel Aviv and joined the
ranks of the enemy. What a great difference between us
and them!
* The government warned Iraqi creditors
of the necessity of collecting their debts from Jews
who are preparing to emigrate to Tel Aviv,
and I say that the debts of Iraqis and all
Arabs to the Jews are not limited to money only,
but to blood as well. This (debt) will remain
as long as Palestine remains under the yoke of Jewish
gangs!

Jews strike the Iraqi economies
at the core
It was a result of people's demand to buy the Jews' bags and their used belongings that
purchasing power in various regular markets was disrupted. This indicates that the Jews
benefited from offering their property for sale in public auctions in two ways: first, their absorption
of national wealth, and second, their disruption of normal activity in the commercial markets.
Undoubtedly, such a thing can only happen to nations oblivious to their duties.
There is no power nor strength except in God, the High, the Great..
Revocation of citizenship for Syrian Jews
fleeing to Palestine
A significant number of Jews reside in Arab countries holding
various Arab citizenships.
What no Jew can deny is that all Jews who have not
yet naturalized with Israeli citizenship, whether they are in New York or Damascus,
owe loyalty to two homelands: Israel and the country whose citizenship they hold, and
Jews themselves differed in interpreting this type of loyalty, with some describing it
as (spiritual loyalty).
This issue was raised several times in the American newspapers, and the result was
that the government warned American Jews against enjoying dual citizenship.
The Arab countries fought Israel, and the world, saturated with Zionist propaganda, expected
that the Jews residing in Arab countries would be eliminated, but days showed that the
Arabs themselves, not the Jews, were the ones subjected in some instances to harsh
measures. We point out, for example, the treatment meted out to Palestinian refugees
in Egypt when they were all placed in detention camps for reasons said to be related to security.
From time to time, newspapers report news about the smuggling of Jews from
Arab countries to Israel, and some governments have announced that they do not object to the
migration of Jews from their countries to Israel. Iraq recently took a clear positive
step by deciding to strip citizenship from every Iraqi Jew who leaves the country
for Israel, while allowing Jews to leave the country without
being subject to loss of citizenship!
In another part of this issue, the reader sees a report stating that Syria
is considering taking measures similar to those taken by Iraq, and we
see this as a wise step that Syria should take, knowing that we favor
the Arab League Council taking up this matter for discussion so that the Arab
states emerge with a unified policy toward this serious issue. Alif Ba
Continued: The states are still
Perhaps Iraq experienced another side of
the danger of its Jewish subjects that is no less important
than espionage, namely the Jews' financial
and economic control over the markets and the smuggling
of funds to Israel, which is the state that
has lived until now on the funds
coming to it from abroad.
In summary, the status of Jews in
the Arab countries needs a "sifting," not
in the dictatorial manner followed by
Hitler with the Jews of Germany, but in a
democratic way, such as allowing those who want to leave the
country to do so, provided that their
departure is subject to certain restrictions. As for
Jewish funds and property, they must
be retained until the issue of Arab
funds and property in Israel is resolved.

The Necessity of Banning Public Jewish Auctions
Public auctions were permitted for emergency
and temporary circumstances, but since the Jews resolved
to leave Iraq, they have become general and permanent markets that almost
disrupt regular markets and deprive
citizens of their commercial business in them,
for goods are piled up, and people in their negligence
are flocking to these auctions which have been dominated
by Jewish methods of fraud, where a group
has been hired for the purpose of raising the prices of used items
displayed in them and to entrap bidders into buying them | until they have become comparable to the market prices of similar
new goods, especially at this time
when these auctions have drained people's
money and attracted them with the power of well-known
Jewish propaganda.
For all of that, we see it as the duty of the government to
take the initiative to ban these public auctions
and it is enough for the Jews what they find of opportunities in
the regular markets, in which it is not permissible to
use seductive auctioning methods.
The Necessity of Issuing Special Legislation
to Consider Deferred Debts Payable by Jews
A warning was broadcast yesterday to the public stating that (everyone
who has a debt against any Jew or
a financial relationship with him must collect his debt or settle
his financial relationships with him before he is allowed to leave
Iraq)
In fact, incidents of
fraud on the part of a non-small number of
Jews have recently recurred, exploiting the citizens' trust in them and the negligence
of some of them. Those Jews who fled took
what they had and what they received from some citizens | in sums or prices for them in the capacity of an (agent)
or a seller of goods he did not deliver or which were not at the time
of sale his property, and similar incidents whose
matter was referred to the courts and reported by some
newspapers.
The broadcast warning came in its time, but it
does not solve the problem of debts not yet due from
the Jews. For it is not possible to collect these
debts except after maturity, and perhaps | the Jew would have left Iraq before
maturity and gone with what he owed without
return.
Therefore, it has become mandatory for the government to issue
special legislation to protect people's interests
by which all debts owed by Jews to citizens
are considered due for payment so they can be collected
before any Jew leaves Iraq, whether
under the appendix of the Denaturalization Decree or
fleeing by unusual means.
