An agreement has been reached between the two parties to construct the northern wing starting from above the foundation in
the National School in Baghdad located in the Qanbar Ali neighborhood, numbered 52/103, according to the following conditions:-
First - The purpose of this undertaking is to carry out the construction works and provide the necessary materials
in full to build the section starting from above the foundations for the aforementioned wing, according to the conditions below
and the plans attached to this contract.

Second - The First Party has advanced to the Second Party an amount of 1000/- Dinars (One Thousand

as an advance for bringing a portion of the materials necessary for the work, and this amount will be deducted from the final account.
Third - The First Party must obtain the necessary permits from the competent authorities for the mentioned
engineer and pay the fees for that.
Fourth - The prices agreed upon between the two parties are as shown in the table attached to this
contract, and the final account shall be conducted according to the measurement of the completed works to the satisfaction of the First Party or his representative
according to the prices listed in the attached table. If it becomes necessary to purchase some of the required materials
for use in the work or to perform some works that do not have a price in the attached table for ⟦...⟧
Fourth - The prices agreed upon between the two parties are as shown in the table attached to this
contract, and the final account shall be conducted according to the measurement of the completed works to the satisfaction of the First Party or his representative
according to the prices listed in the attached table. If it becomes necessary to purchase some of the materials
for use in the work or to perform some works that do not have a price in the attached table for that
on behalf of the First Party, a commission of ten percent shall be calculated for the Second Party on the amounts spent in this regard.
Fifth - If any work appears contrary to the maps or any fraudulent work, the Second Party must remove it
and reconstruct it again as required at his own expense, and he has no right to claim any compensation from the First Party for that.
Sixth - The second party must use materials of the best type available locally and must use
English type cement only for all works that require cement, and the gypsum and sand must be clean
and free from foreign materials.
Seventh - The first party undertakes to pay the construction costs in monthly installments, each amounting to 150/-
dinars (one hundred and fifty dinars) starting from 11/1/1949 until the completion of paying all that is requested by
the second party for its work, and the first party also undertakes to pay the legal interest on any amount delayed in payment.
Eighth - If it becomes necessary to perform work for which there is no price in the price schedule, an agreement must be reached
on the price of that work between the two parties before starting the mentioned work.
Ninth - If a dispute arises between the two parties, they must agree on appointing a third person agreed upon
between the two parties to resolve the existing dispute, and his judgment shall be binding on both parties.
