First Party - Mr. Heskel ⟦Shamoon⟧ - President of the Lay Council of the Jewish Community in Baghdad in his official capacity Second Party - Mr. Shua Zalouf An agreement has been reached between the two parties to establish a clinic starting from above the concrete pillars located in the Torah neighborhood No. 393/94, according to the following conditions: - First - The purpose of this undertaking is to carry out the construction works and supply all necessary materials in full for the construction of the clinic starting from above the concrete pillars, according to the conditions listed below and the plans attached to this contract. Second - The First Party has advanced to the Second Party an amount of -/1500 Dinars (One Thousand Five Hundred Dinars) by check No. 693428 dated 12/29/1949 drawn on the Ottoman Bank in Baghdad to the order of the Second Party as an advance to bring a portion of the materials necessary for the work, and this amount will be deducted from the final account. Third - The First Party must obtain the necessary permits from the competent authorities for the mentioned construction and pay the fees for that. Fourth - The prices agreed upon between the two parties are as shown in the schedule attached to this contract, and the final account shall be conducted according to the measurement of the completed works to the satisfaction of the First Party or his agent and that is according to the prices listed in the attached schedule.
