It has been decided to accept (60) students in the first class of the Basic Teacher Training Institute in Abu Ghraib
for the academic year 965/966 from graduates of preparatory studies in both scientific and literary branches and graduates of
agricultural secondary schools and industrial secondary schools (commercial branch) for this year according to the conditions shown below. So,
students wishing to join the aforementioned institute should submit their applications to the institute's directorate in Abu Ghraib.
Submission of applications begins from 14/8/1965 and ends with the end of official working hours on Thursday, corresponding to
2/9/1965.
( Admission Requirements )
1- The student must have the ability and desire to work in the village.
2- His age must not exceed (25) years.
3- Preference is given to sons of villages and rural areas over others when conditions are equal, and preference is given to those with high averages.
4- The student must pass the interview conducted by the Admission Committee and the medical examination conducted by a
medical committee that confirms his safety from diseases and disabilities.
5- The Ministry undertakes to provide subsistence for those accepted in the institute's dormitory.
6- The student pledges after graduation to work in basic education centers in any area designated by the Ministry.
7- The duration of study at the institute is two years.

1- Medical examination forms are organized in two copies by the General Registration Department, and a photograph of the
student is fixed on each one, stamped with the department's seal, and the student's full name, age, governorate, and total score are written, organized according to the sequence
of grades, and sent in an envelope to the medical examination committee by one of the employees, and returned likewise, and the
number of students required to be examined is sent according to the agreement made between the committee and the registration department.
2- The examination of students from the northern governorates, namely Mosul, Kirkuk, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah, is conducted in Mosul by
the special medical examination committee, and the committee must apply the same instructions followed in other committees
a copy of which is attached herewith, starting from 25 / 8 / 1965.
3- The examination of students from the southern governorates is conducted in Basra by the special examination committee and includes the governorates of Basra,
Amara, Diwaniya, and Nasiriyah, and the committee applies the same instructions attached herewith. The medical examination begins on
25 / 8 / 1965.
4- The examination of students from the central governorates is conducted at the University Health Directorate in Al-Waziriyah in Baghdad and includes the governorates of
Ramadi, Baqubah, Kut, Hilla, Karbala, and Baghdad, and begins on the first day of next September.
5- A student is not allowed to miss the medical examination appointment assigned to him by the registration department according to the groups
announced to the students, and whoever misses the assigned appointment is considered to have failed the medical examination.
6- The specialized registration employee in the college or institute shall be responsible for any deficiency in the documents and forms
required belonging to the student, and it is not permissible to accept the student in the college unless it is confirmed that they have completed all the transactions
required, including the medical examination form, and he has no right to join classes until after completing the documents
required.
7- Compliance with the required conditions in the medical examination recorded on the back of the admission form for students
whether for technical colleges and institutes or colleges that have contracts with the government.

1- The design of the distribution receipt form shall be distributed to secondary schools in lists to provide students who submit their complete
papers to their school administrations with it, to be used as an identity card and receipt at the same time. The student shall also keep,
in addition to that, their photograph to be placed on the medical examination form by the medical committee, which will send it to
the General Registration Directorate in Baghdad after its completion. Applying students should also visit the following centers to confirm
the dates for the medical examination: -
A- In Mosul - The Cultural Group - for the governorates of Mosul, Erbil, Kirkuk, and Sulaymaniyah.
B- Basra - Office of the Vice President of the University in Basra - for the governorates of Basra, Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah,
and Amarah.
C- In Baghdad for the remaining governorates and at the following centers: -
1- College of Science - for graduates of the Scientific branch.
2- College of Engineering - for graduates of the Literary branch.
3- College for Girls - for female graduates of both the Scientific and Literary branches.
2- Please emphasize to secondary school administrations and urge them to expedite the sending of the envelopes containing
the form and the documents mentioned in paragraph (3-A) of the conditions for female students' applications, complete
after being audited by you, so that you may send them to us in batches as they arrive, provided they are classified
on the basis of the branches (Scientific, Literary, and Commercial) and on the basis of previous years, each in a separate bundle, according to the sequence
of contents and according to lists as explained in paragraph (3) of our letter No. T/1739/9 dated
July 18, 1965.
3- Please emphasize to secondary school administrations the auditing of the papers mentioned in paragraph (3-A) of the conditions
for submitting applications to the university in terms of age, ensuring it does not exceed (25) years (Paragraph C - First of the conditions
for submitting applications) and the availability of original copies of the Iraqi Nationality Certificate and the Civil Status Book for the 1957
registration.
4- Please announce to the students who submitted their papers to their school administrations to visit their schools to receive
the attached receipt, similar to other students who have not yet submitted their papers.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Examination Statement
1- It has been decided that the general examination centers for the three studies for the academic year 1964 / 1965
Second Session shall be according to the attached table.
2- The administrations of schools whose buildings have been taken as examination centers, whether they are official schools
private, or foreign, must prepare their school desks and halls well before the examination date
and ensure the integrity of electrical installations and inform the Contracts Department if there is
any defect or damage.
3- Examinations begin at exactly eight o'clock on the morning of Thursday, 2 / 9 / 1965, according to
the schedule communicated to all schools by our letter No. 7303 dated 4 / 7 / 1965 .
4- School administrations must inform us immediately if the names of their supplementary students have been omitted
in this statement.
5- Students shall be informed of their examination centers from now on, and this shall be announced on the notice board.
