Since 1936, I have been afflicted with a hernia, and subsequently underwent the necessary surgery
and recovered at the time. However, recently I have begun to feel severe pain at the site of the hernia.
On June 22, 1959, I consulted the Community regarding the matter, and they sent me to Dr. Maurice Salton, the surgeon.
He performed a thorough examination and found that I need surgery, and referred me via his attached report
to the Community, which in turn sent me
to Dr. Gurji Rabie to examine me and confirm the illness. He performed the necessary examination and provided me
with the attached medical report stating that the surgery is not necessary (urgently), as was stated in the report
of the surgeon Maurice, which stated the necessity of performing it urgently due to the danger to my health. Since I am a man of modest
means and cannot engage in any work because of my illness, which has hindered my body from any strong movement, I therefore hope
your Excellency will kindly investigate the discrepancy between the reports of the two aforementioned doctors and then order
the necessary surgery for me, in view of the severe pain I suffer from, the consequences of which I fear. I await
your orders in the name of humanity and chivalry, and may God grant you success.
