Description

A 1951 register listing Baghdadi Jews whose Iraqi nationality was withdrawn under the denaturalization law passed in March 1950. This document is not part of the original Iraqi Jewish Archive corpus. It was reportedly found in Baghdad after the 2003 looting of government offices, then scanned and made publicly available online by an Iraqi national. The register is an important supplementary source for tracing the community affected by denaturalization and forced departure.
