First Party - Manshi Saleh Shlomo Daoud, the administrator of the Hadiya Manshi Saleh endowments, in addition
to the aforementioned endowments.
Second Party - Mr. Hussam al-Din Jumaa (acting on behalf of his brothers), Shaul Saqeel
Alayka (acting on his own behalf), Khedhouri Alayka (acting on his own behalf and as an agent for
the rest of the heirs of the late Salman Alayka), and Mr. Ibrahim Rushdie (acting on his own behalf and as an agent
for his aunt Khayriya bint Salim.
Whereas a portion of the construction of the house numbered 139/50 and Tapu sequence (92)
located in the Torah neighborhood is built over the properties of the Second Party numbered 399 and
399a and 401/158 and Tapu sequence 189 and 191, and whereas the height of the aforementioned properties is in
constant decrease due to the burying of its ground over time, and the current boundaries of its height
will become useless if it is decided to reconstruct it in the future, and in view of this, an
agreement has been reached between the two aforementioned parties on the following:
(First) - The First Party, in his capacity as the administrator of the Hadiya Manshi Saleh endowments and in addition
to the aforementioned endowment, pledges not to oppose the members of the Second Party in raising the ceilings of their aforementioned properties
up to the level of the first-floor ceilings of the aforementioned endowment house, which is currently used as a school
for the girls of the Jewish community, in the event of its demolition and reconstruction; meaning that the height of the ceilings
of the Second Party's properties will become the level of the first-floor ceilings of the endowment house in case of its reconstruction
anew.
(Second) - The members of the Second Party agreed to what was stated in the previous clause and to the nullification of
the petition submitted by the agent Mr. Hussam al-Din Jumaa to the Secretariat of the Capital
and to overlook the notice sent following it, No. 1542 dated January 31, 1943,
sent by the Secretariat to the First Party.
Based on the above, the agreement was reached between the two aforementioned parties, and this agreement was written
in two copies, and each party has kept a copy of it. Baghdad, February 2, 1943.

Lease Contract
This contract has been concluded between the President of the Lay Council in Baghdad, Mr. Heskel Dawood Shemtob, in addition to the Jewish Community Fund
in Baghdad, hereinafter referred to as the Lessor.
And the Managing Director of the Iraqi Company for Industry and Trade Limited in Baghdad, Mr. Shukri al-Tawil, in addition to the aforementioned
company, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee, on the following:
First - The Lessor has leased to the Lessee, and the latter has leased from the Lessor after inspection and review, the Khan (commercial premises) located
in the Qanbar Ali neighborhood number ⟦...⟧ adjacent to Khan al-Shabandar, along with the ground warehouse (the cellar) belonging to the aforementioned Khan,
excluding the two shops overlooking the road, for a full year starting from March 24, 1951, until the end of March 23, 1952,
for a rental fee of (700) dinars, seven hundred dinars only.
Second - The Lessor has received the full rental fee amounting to seven hundred dinars.
Third - The Lessee has the right to occupy the leased premises for his commercial purposes, and he has the right to lease the entire mentioned premises or a part of it
to whomsoever he wishes without having to notify the Lessor or obtain his written consent, provided that it is occupied by the new lessee
also as a commercial premises. At the end of the lease period, the Lessee must vacate the leased premises and hand it over to the Lessor free of occupants and complete
as he received it, with all its contents of doors, windows, window glass, electrical installations, etc. He must repair and restore all
damages that occur during the lease period in the leased premises. If he delays in handing over the premises free of occupants at the end of the term, then
the Lessee must pay a daily rent of five dinars for the period of delay without the need for a formal notice.
Fourth - The Lessee is not allowed to make any change or demolition in the leased premises, such as erecting a barrier or demolishing a barrier or a wall, before obtaining
written consent from the Lessor.

LEASE CONTRACT
By virtue of this contract, Mr. Naeem Ibrahim Zubaida, Vice President of the Jewish Lay Council in Baghdad, in addition
to his position (hereinafter referred to as the Lessor), has leased to Mr. Jack Khedhouri Sopher (hereinafter referred to as the Lessee) the Khan
(the commercial premises) located in Qanbar Ali neighborhood, numbered 152 B / 113, adjacent to the building of the Presidency of the Jewish Community
in Baghdad near Murjan Mosque Square, for a period of six months starting from May 30, 1951 (the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one
AD) until the end of November 29, 1951 (the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one AD)

Lease Contract
A contract has been concluded between Messrs. Youssef Salem and Ezra Heskel Khazoum, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee,
And Mr. Heskel Daoud Shamtob, President of the Jewish Lay Council in Baghdad and in addition to the Jewish Community
Fund in Baghdad, hereinafter referred to as the Lessor, as follows:
First – The Lessor has leased to the Lessee, and the latter has leased from the Lessor after inspection and review, the shop
near the Murjan Mosque located in Baghdad in the Qambar Ali neighborhood, numbered 113/152, from the beginning of April of the year

due on October 1, 1950.
Third – The Lessee has the right of occupancy only in the leased property for the duration of the lease totaling one full year, and at the end of the lease
period, the Lessee is obligated to vacate the leased property and hand it over to the Lessor free of occupants. If he is late in doing so,
he shall be obligated to pay for the period of delay a daily rent of one dinar without the need for a formal
notice.
Fourth – The property tax on the leased premises shall be the responsibility of the Lessor, while the water, electricity, and security fees
shall be the responsibility of the Lessee, and he is obligated to pay them regularly.

Numbered 52/c/113 will expire next Monday, May 21,
Year 1951. Therefore, please visit us during this period to express your desire to renew the lease
Or not, so that we may lease it to another person should you refrain from renewing it.
We also draw your attention to the fact that the promissory note that became due from you since 22/4/1951
In the amount of one hundred dinars, only thirty dinars of it have been paid so far. We hope you hasten to pay
The remaining balance in the hope that you do not force us to resort to legal measures.
