Included are rental agreements between the President of the Jewish community and various community members; ledgers of property holdings; correspondence regarding the distribution of endowments to schools and hospitals; legal paperwork for establishment of an endowment; insurance policy invoices from the South British Insurance Company, L’Union and the Iraq Insurance Office; insurance policies issued by the Legal & General Assurance Society Limited and the South British Insurance Company, electricity and water bills; and contracts. The insurance policies cover everything from fire and auto to typewriters and Persian rugs. Many of the documents are administered by the Jewish Lay Council, overseen by Eliyahu Hiam Youfek or Heskel David Shemtob.

Given that the leased property is (Waqf) and necessity dictates observing the interest of the Waqf and making
the rental rates proportional to the benefit derived from the aforementioned leased property, and based on the law exempting
Waqf properties from the Rent Control Law, and since the fair market rent for the above-mentioned leased property is 50/- Dinars
annually. Therefore, you must be informed of the need to consult us to agree on organizing a new lease contract should
you wish to continue occupying this leased property, noting that if you continue to occupy the property after
the expiration of the current contract term without renewing it, this will be considered as your consent to lease the shop mentioned
above for the rental rate mentioned earlier amounting to 50/- Dinars for a period of one year, the payment of which
becomes due immediately after the contract ends, provided that we have the option at any time to file a lawsuit
against you requesting the eviction of the property before the competent court and obligating you to a daily indemnity of (250 Fils) starting
from the date the contract ends until the date of eviction.
