Greetings,
With reference to your letter No. M/Sh/4/384 dated 10/8/1952;
The Physical Council, in its session held on 15/8/1952, considered your above-mentioned letter
and decided the following:
1 - Re-evaluating the employment of Dr. Tokar as a doctor for gynecology and obstetrics at the hospital; due to the low number of those
entering the maternity ward in the hospital, which has become almost empty. Therefore, the Council decided to cancel the allocated monthly salary
for her and limit it to her share of examinations (outpatient clinic) and surgeries performed by her, amounting to fifty percent
(50%), provided that her residence remains free of charge in the house allocated to her, and she has no claim to any boarding or delivery fees.
2 - The conditions mentioned in paragraph (1) above shall be presented to the mentioned doctor, and in case she does not accept them, the Physical
Council has decided to dispense with her services. In this case, all her claims for accumulated salaries and accrued leave until the
date of her separation from service shall be paid.
3 - In the event that the doctor accepts the conditions stated in paragraph (1) above as a basis for remaining at the hospital, the requested leave
shall be granted to her, and her accumulated salaries and requested leave pay shall be paid, provided that the conditions stipulated in paragraph (1)
take effect after her return from her leave.
4 - The Council approved Dr. Kamal Al-Samarrai overseeing the maternity department in the event of the doctor's absence outside Iraq
on leave, or in the event of dispensing with her services for not accepting the conditions mentioned in paragraph (1) above. The Physical Council member
delegated to manage the hospital's affairs shall negotiate with the aforementioned person to understand his conditions and present them to the Council for a decision.
Therefore, we ask you to present the conditions mentioned in paragraph (1) to Dr. Tokar and inform us of her acceptance or refusal immediately so that we can
take the necessary action regarding the disbursement of her accumulated salaries and accrued leave, while stating the amount of the claim and leaves, preferably.
Please accept the highest respect.
