in red with the letter (B) without regard to expenses if found necessary - accordingly, I prepared a plan for the two projects
and sent it attached with a letter to the President for study, and I asked him to take the opinion of those concerned and their approval and inform me of what they prefer
At the same time, I pointed out to him that the second project, i.e., the one marked with the letter (B), its cost would increase by an amount ranging
between 1200 to 1500 Dinars, plus the difference in price increases by no less than 100 Dinars, and after
fifteen days, the President answered me via the Lay Council verbally with his approval of his request - after the passing of
two weeks, I was invited again to the President's place and he requested that I carry out the work myself in a private capacity as an engineer
and a contractor together, and as a result of the review, an agreement was reached between the President and me verbally that I would perform the work for a lump sum
amounting to 1350 (one thousand three hundred and fifty) Dinars, and he paid me in advance an amount of fifty Dinars in cash and asked me
to wait for three days during which a new committee would be elected to finalize the transaction formally between the new committee
and me. The three days passed, and many like them, until I received your letter numbered L/823 and dated 1/21/1951
i.e., after approximately a month had passed since the verbal agreement.
In summary, I hope to explain the situation clearly to the Committee that I am not a contractor and have not taken any contract from
private or personal institutes throughout my professional life, but out of embarrassment, I accepted the President's request, and as I stated before some members of
the Committee and before you verbally, I do not seek enrichment at the expense of the hospital or any other charitable institute, and I share with you
the responsibility, and my duties are no less than your duties towards charitable projects, even though all construction material prices have risen from
what they were last summer, I did not backtrack on my word, but rather I wanted to prove to the Committee my good intentions in the matter, and since
the President, due to his trust in me, entrusted me with the work without dictating any specifications or conditions to me, I took it upon myself
no matter the cost, to prove myself worthy of his good opinion.
As for your statement that there is no information within your files regarding the details of the progress of this matter, the fault is not
mine, and I believe that the communications were scattered as a result of one committee leaving and another replacing it, and the many tasks at the administration of
the Community. If I had known there was no record with you before this regarding what had previously transpired in terms of back-and-forth, I would not have delayed in submitting

In conclusion, I reiterate to you that even though I have made some purchases, I am able to cancel the majority of them

Radiology department according to the design signed by you and by me at a fixed price of -/1350 Dinars (one thousand three hundred and fifty
Dinars), noting that all materials extracted from the demolition in an intact manner shall be reused inside the new building.
As I have had the honor of carrying out all the construction belonging to the hospital and the community's endowments, I did not find a need to submit
all the detailed conditions about the workflow, as I will implement it in the best possible ways, and I hope to meet your expectations
in the matter. Below are some clarifications regarding the details of the work I will undertake: -

On the details of the progress of the new radiology building works
1- The contractor, Engineer Yusuf Mayer, undertook to create the map, apply it, and build the new and old sections of Radiology.
2- An agreement was reached between the President of the Physical Council and his deputy in December / 1950, or more than a month before the committee was appointed,
with Engineer Yusuf Mayer to construct the new and old sections of Radiology for an amount of 1350/- Dinars; however, although
the transaction was completed through the President of the Council and his deputy, as they settled the value and the engineer received at that time 50/- fifty

Square Meters
The New Building
15 x 8.65 = ⟦129.75⟧ equals construction of one floor and a third of a floor, or one floor and a quarter, since after the foundation
1.50 x 3.30 = 4.95 75/50 there is a height from the ground of 1.60 meters to the beginning of the floor construction.
The Old Building
It was only a porch and in it two walls were built and it was divided into rooms as well as two toilets and their equipment. As for its area

Included in this building is the provision of 3 toilets with their equipment, a basin and others for washing films in the dark
room, water pipe fittings, a septic tank, and on the other side a pipe to the septic tank and soil filling only 112

Work in the Old Radiology Room
Opening the corridor from two sides to the new radiology room, opening a window in the corridor, closing the door, and opening
