The revolutionary government, which abolished the obsolete legislations issued by the monarchical regime more than
twenty years ago, cannot take hostile measures against a section of the sons of the nation, because the revolution and the principles of the
Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party do not believe in such positions. Its ideology has emphasized the care for the rights
of all minorities, as well as the policy of the revolutionary government—this policy characterized by humanity, tolerance, progressivism,
and equality among all citizens of any religion or race.
I—as the head of the Jewish community in your homeland—sincerely invite you to return to the homeland of freedom,
justice, and progress.

A Bloody Day in Lebanon
Blood atmosphere of the settlement
Announcement of "National Mourning" and holding the sectarian Phalangist Party responsible for detonating the situation again
Beirut - Special to Al-Jumhuriya and news agencies
Last Saturday in Beirut was the most horrific bloody day since the bloody events began in Lebanon about eight months ago. The number of victims who fell the day before yesterday is double what fell on any other day during the past months.
Some reports stated that more than 200 people were killed and injured, and that most of the "dead" are victims of kidnapping operations, where they are kidnapped and their bodies are seen in the streets afterwards. Dozens of people were also killed when public institutions were attacked by reactionary forces, and employees were fired upon en masse. It seems that all of this is happening to escalate the situation, as many were killed simply because they left their homes for work, or simply because they did not leave their workplaces at the right time!
The gunmen returned to the streets of Beirut, which were deserted yesterday, after the Higher Coordination Committee asked citizens not to leave their homes, and with the horrific bloody day, all attempts made in recent days to resume normal life collapsed.
Beirut Radio said yesterday that all the capital's streets and entrances are unsafe, and also mentioned that clashes are taking place in northern Lebanon, especially in Tripoli, and clashes also occurred in the Bekaa Valley and in the city of Zahle.
The bloody events returned to the Lebanese arena after it appeared in recent days that the reactionary and isolationist forces had been forced to retreat under pressure from the national movement, and we mentioned previously that such a retreat would only be temporary and that it would remain subject to developments in local, Arab, and international circumstances.
The reactionary forces were active in achieving their goals during about eight months of killings, terrorism, and attempts to turn Lebanon into a "major confrontation arena in the region." If the top of these goals was to curtail the Palestinian resistance and assassinate its role in the Arab arena, as well as abort the national movement after it put forward radical reform demands, then what happened, despite the plotters' planning, is that the Palestinian resistance was able to strengthen its positions and increase its cohesion with the masses and their national movement, which was forced to move beyond its peaceful struggle method to carrying arms to deter the plotters.
Izvestia:
The Zionist entity is the biggest beneficiary of the events in Lebanon
The Soviet newspaper Izvestia confirmed in a commentary yesterday on the events witnessed in the Lebanese arena that the Zionist entity is the biggest beneficiary of these events.
It added that when this political crisis in Lebanon began to recede, the directors of Zionist conspiracies set about igniting it again with brutal raids they launched on Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. The newspaper continued - these raids, intended to isolate the Palestinian resistance, have strengthened Zionist persistence, as they sparked a wave of indignation and condemnation in the United Nations General Assembly.

He said in a statement before leaving Baghdad yesterday after a six-day visit to the region that this historic decision represents not only the civilized face of the Arab nation, but also constitutes a prominent landmark on the path to complete liberation and blowing up the Zionist society from its roots as a prelude to achieving our comprehensive national goals.

Continued incidents of finding more bodies of victims
The city of Beirut appeared pale and deserted, shrouded in gloom and anxiety after dark, after witnessing the day before yesterday and yesterday the worst it has seen at the hands of the gangs of the sectarian agent Kataeb Party.
Beirut Radio called on people to areas where Mr. Karami's main headquarters were yesterday to trigger a crisis of staying in their homes and said that the police that the Kataeb and extending to Gemmayzeh is political if things continue in five other bodies found yesterday on one hand and Bab Idriss on the other hand deterioration and lack of discipline.

It reached the point of armed men attempting to kidnap the "Hotel Dieu" hospital.

Mr. Aziz Sherif, Secretary-General of the National Council for Peace and Solidarity in the region and Minister of State, confirmed the support of the Iraqi people, the government, and the revolution for the Indian people and their government in their efforts against reactionary fascist groups in India linked to American imperialism.
This came in a speech he delivered in Bihar the night before last during a meeting of the committee discussing the uprising and neo-fascist forces in developing countries, which was held on the sidelines of the international conference against the emerging bases in Ghana, the capital of the Indian state of Bihar. Mr. Sherif added that the struggle of the Arab region considers India a great revolution in confronting imperialist activities.

To my expatriate Iraqi Jewish brothers
You were sentenced to expatriation as a result of the application of Paragraph B of Article Five of the law supplementing the law for the monitoring and administration of
the assets of Jews whose Iraqi citizenship was revoked, No. 12 of the year 1951.
And according to it, your Iraqi citizenship was stripped from you, which is a natural right for every citizen.
The Government of the Revolution, the blessed July 17 Revolution, and its leading party, the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, and its respected
President, felt the injustice that befell you, and issued its revolutionary humanitarian decision to allow you
to return to your dear homeland.
And based on this decision, and from its wording and requirements, Paragraph (B) of Article
Five of the aforementioned law was canceled, and your stripped Iraqi citizenship was restored to you, and
all disposal restrictions were lifted from you, and you were equated with other citizens in rights and duties.
So hasten to return to serve and to cling to the soil of your homeland Iraq, in which you lived for thousands of years and shared
with your brothers their joys and sorrows.
May God protect the men of the revolution and care for them, led by the militant leader, the venerable President of the Republic, Ahmed
Hassan al-Bakr, and the Vice President of the Revolutionary Command Council, the militant Mr. Saddam Hussein.
