REGULATIONS & DIRECTIONS FOR THE SELECTION OF THE
BEST PAPER FOR SHORT STORY CONTEST.
I. The papers will be passed to the Class Teacher concerned who shall
sort them into three categories:-
(a) - Papers which certainly are not the student's personal work.
(b) - Papers which are doubtful as to their being wholly the per-
sonal work of the student.
(c) - Papers which are thought to be bona-fide of the student's own
writing & composition.
Group (a) papers will be examined by a second teacher or the
Principal, and if confirmed, will be neglected.
Group (b) papers will pass through the hands of a second tea-
cher and/or the Principal, and those papers which may be thought
to be more or less the genuine work of the student, will be kept
aside. Writers of such papers will be asked to produce one of
their best compositions for the current year. A comparison will
be made, and those papers which are thought trustworthy as to
their standard with the relative student's composition, will be

ting in the competition.

(a) - The class teacher concerned.
(b) - A second class teacher, if available, for the same language.
(c) - One or two outsiders mastering that language.

as to the 3 best out of them all, grading them as first, second
& third.

writing & composition.
Group (a) papers will be examined by a second teacher or the

taken to Category (c), which thus comprise the papers participa-
ting in the competition.
II. A committee shall be formed of 3 members, comprising:-
(a) - The class teacher concerned.
(b) - A second class teacher, if available, for the same language.

as to the 3 best out of them all, grading them as first, second
& third.

form a second committee, which will decide as to the best paper
out of those recommended by the first committee.
