Announcement
Selection of Exemplary Students
The system for awarding prizes to students has stipulated that the Exemplary Award be given to
the student who fulfills certain conditions, including:
1- Diligence in study must be proven, and it is not required that
priority (being first) be a basic condition.
2- Being well-known for virtuous character and good behavior inside and outside the school.
3- That the relationship with others be satisfactory, and built on the basis of
cooperation and public service.
It has been the custom for the students of each class to elect the
exemplary student from among the candidates for exemplarity.
However, the Teachers' Council found during the past years that students,
at times when acting in the election process, the elected student
was not always the truly exemplary one for the class. This is because a portion of
the students began to show bias or were forced to elect a specific student under
the influence of intimidation and threats or misplaced propaganda.
Therefore, out of concern for the students' interest and to avoid the mistakes that occurred
in the past in electing exemplary students, the Teachers' Council convened on Friday,
corresponding to 14/5/1965, in the presence of the following named male and female teachers:
1- Mr. Isaac Cohen | 8- Mr. Faraj Kabara
2- " Amin Marei | 9- Ms. Lillian Hanitoul
3- " Ezekiel Ephraim | 10- Ms. Lailoni Rahmin
4- " Khalil Askar | 11- Mr. Munir Nassim
5- Ms. Saida Al-Hakim | 12- " William Gindi
6- " Samira Nassim | 13- Ms. Yassa Tweig
7- Mr. Abdullah Ovadia | 14- Mr. Yahya Nazhat
After deliberation, it was decided unanimously to take upon itself the election of
