call, or personal contact.
To request films, filmstrips, and screening requests, call the following number 99927
For other services, call 98612
Conditions required for approval of material production:
The illustrative materials requested for production should be characterized by their educational value
to benefit a large number of teachers, instructors, or other persons.
This requires special capabilities that only the center is able to perform for such
a task.
If you wish to produce materials or other services, always remember that production needs
time, so you should allocate sufficient time for your request before the specified date.
The production curriculum at the center is narrow, and undertaking any production or service should
enter the curriculum; therefore, you must submit your requests in advance.
The center's employees do not receive additional wages for their services, but the center charges
the costs of the materials consumed in the work.

The materials sent to request the production
of silk-screen printed posters should reach
the Center from schools or cultural
institutions. Approval for their production is contingent
upon such materials being of
educational importance and being used on a large
scale by a large number of teachers
and instructors.
In all requests for printing
materials or any other work concerning other
departments of the Center, they should be submitted well in advance
of the date they are needed. It is clear that
arrangement, design, engraving of texts,
images, and transferring images requires a
long time for each task.

Presenting various developments and activities that cannot be seen by any other way.

It also increases the ability to remember and helps students to remember for a longer period and recall
materials more easily.
For the purpose of providing the field for the educational
occasions listed on the previous page,
the Cinema Department trains an appropriate number
of people in the field of film
production. At the same time, this

The television curricula prepared for use during classroom sessions are
ready now. They include curricula in science, art, arithmetic, language, arts,
and biology for primary, elementary, and secondary schools.
We invite schools to draw the center's attention to plays, programs,
and other activities they have prepared that contain sufficient interest and
educational value to make them suitable for television. From time to time we will ask schools
to participate in television activities related to school relations and competitions.

Introduction
This booklet is intended to be a means of introducing all male and female teachers
to the services and materials available at the Audio-Visual Aids Center to help the teacher perform
his mission. This booklet - as a start - will be limited to listing the services
and materials. If the teacher finds that some of the services and materials he needs to enable
his students to learn more, faster, and remember for longer are not listed,
we would be pleased if he requested information regarding this matter.
The Audio-Visual Aids Center is a directorate related to the Ministry of Education. It was established
after the Ministry felt its need for services and materials that can be prepared for cultural
guidance in Iraq. Thus, your request for audio-visual services and materials
for use in classrooms is to achieve the cultural purposes for which the center was founded.
We only ask to be given the appropriate opportunity to help you improve the educational
conditions for your students.
We welcome any visit you make to the center. No doubt such a visit will help you
directly in choosing the illustrative materials available for your use, as well as helping you
to know our services for you or the services you need. Requests for production
can always be expedited through personal contact and deliberations with the center's
staff. But whatever your request, contact us by correspondence, telephone,
or by visiting the center's departments and workshops in the Audio-Visual
Aids Center.
