2- The Trustee undertakes to pay to the Student or his representative an amount not exceeding ⟦line⟧
for each year of the four years of study, and that is
to cover the expenses of housing, living, and the Student's tuition fees. The Trustee also pays the travel expenses
of the Student for one round trip only upon his departure from Iraq and his return to it.
3- The Student undertakes to carry out the mission for which he was sent with all activity and diligence and will
dedicate his efforts to his lessons with all care and maintain his morals in a satisfactory manner, not only in the scientific
institute but outside it as well. The Student must also observe the regulations of the scientific institute
with all reservation and sincerity and try everything in his power to provide a satisfactory examination and obtain a
graduation certificate in the subject explained in the first article of this contract, provided that
the period does not exceed ⟦illegible⟧ years to obtain this certificate, considering that this
period is sufficient for this purpose. During his period of study, the Student must send to the Trustee reports
proving his success in all his examinations from time to time as well as proving his good conduct, provided
that these reports are signed by the officials at the university or institute where the Student
is studying.
4- It is not permissible to change the subject of study mentioned in the first paragraph of this contract except in
emergency cases and based on the proposal of the authorities of the scientific institute where the Student is studying
and coupled with the approval of the trustee of the endowment referred to above.
5- The Trustee has the right to expel the Student and recover from him all the expenses spent on him if the
Trustee so desires in the following cases:
a) If the Student misbehaves, or if he is convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor involving dishonor.
b) If the scientific institute authorities request the Student to leave the institute, either because of
his failure in his examination or as a result of disgraceful behavior.
6- The Student undertakes to refrain from engaging in politics in any case during the period of
study, and in case of violating this condition, he will be subject to expulsion and the provision of
Article (5) listed above shall be applied to him.

7- In the event of the student failing his examination or extending the period of study more than the period mentioned in
this contract for reasons other than illness, the Trustee has the right, if he so wishes, to allow the student to
repeat the academic year at the student's own expense or to expel the student and recover all
expenses spent on him from him or from his guarantor.
8- The student undertakes to perform, within three months from the date of his graduation, services for a period
equivalent to the period of his study outside Iraq, either in the schools of the Mosaic community in Baghdad or in
any other institute decided by the Trustee, wherever that institute may be and in any place found within Iraq,
provided that the student receives from the school or from the institute in which he will work a salary
proportionate to the salaries received by employees of the Iraqi government who have
the same qualifications as the student.
9- This contract is considered null and void if the Trustee or his agent is unable to employ the student
within three months of his return to Iraq. If the student refuses to be employed during the period
mentioned, or if he is expelled for reasons related to his misconduct or the like, the Trustee
or his agent has the right to recover an amount proportionate to the remaining period of the agreed service period,
which represents amounts spent on the student for the period he did not compensate with his services. The student must
pay the amount upon request.
10- The Trustee has the right to recover the guarantees mentioned in this contract without a prior official notice.
The statement of expenses submitted by the Trustee is considered correct, indisputable,
and not subject to objection - and the student must submit to the Trustee's decision in the event of his failure to implement any clause
of the clauses of this contract for any reason whatsoever.
