There are also documents confirming religious education and births in other countries including Austria, Greece, and Romania. Birth certificates verifying birth dates go as far back as the 1870s.

No :-: 1402 CERTIFICATE At the request of the applicant, FAHIMA SCHEMTOB known as FAHIMA HESKEL DAVID SCHEMTOB, The Baghdad Jewish Religious Court (Iraq), after due investigations, confirms the following matters:- 1- That the applicant is the wife of DAVID M. DELLAL, in accordance with the marriage certificate - Kethubah - dated the 10th of October 1935 (nineteen hundred and thirty five A.D.), issued by the Jewish Religious Authority of Manchester (England). Whereas the said husband and wife are of Iraqi nationality , born at and residents of Baghdad (Iraq), the Court therefore considered the application of the said wife in this connection to be in accordance with the Jewish Religious Law. 2- After deep investigations, the Court confirms that the husband, after a short peried from the date of the contract of marriage, left his wife and later on her two children without any maintenance-allowance. It further appeared from the said investigations that a dangerous illness occured to the said husband in England and owing to the seriousness of his illness he has been transferred to Berlin (Germany) for medical treatment by medical experts, who saved/life after successful operations at the expences of his wife. 4- This certificate has been issued to the wife to enable her to produce same to the competent authorities, in order to obtain her rights from her husband.
