Violations recur from time to time by the administrations of private schools of various levels and types, resulting from
Failure to follow the regulations in force regarding the dates of mid-year and final exams. We request that all private schools be obligated
To follow the regulations and apply them literally. We will not tolerate any school that advances or delays its exam dates
Regardless of the excuses, as unifying exam dates is something this department is extremely keen on in implementation of Ministry of Education regulations.
As for some schools that are unable to conduct exams regularly in a quiet atmosphere due to the large number of examinees
And the narrowness of their classrooms, we believe it is necessary to resort to conducting exams for different classes at close intervals to allow
Distributing students across the largest number of desks to achieve the intended benefit.

Administrations of all private schools associated with this Directorate
It has appeared to us from the reports of the specialized inspectors that some private secondary schools have conducted the current mid-year exams
at a time other than that stipulated in the Secondary School Regulations. Since this Directorate has previously emphasized to all
private schools to conduct mid-year exams on the date set for official schools, and that it is absolutely not permissible
for any private school to advance or delay these exams before obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, we emphasize for the last time
the necessity of keeping pace with official schools and following them in the scheduled exam dates and the necessity of refraining in the future from conducting them at other
times before obtaining official approval, as this is considered an explicit violation of the aforementioned regulations, noting that we -
will be forced, when necessary, to direct legal penalties to violating schools, and we will also record these violations against
the mentioned schools in order to present them to the General Directorate at the end of each school year to be taken into consideration when distributing financial
grants.

Greetings,
We inform you that the mid-year exams at Frank Iny Primary and Intermediate School

The reason for the delay in the date of these exams compared to public schools is due to the delay

We request your respected directorate's approval of this measure.

Please announce to the secondary and vocational schools associated with you the necessity of observing the following instructions when
intending to undertake a trip during the days of the school year and not to deviate from them.
1 - Every school administration intending to undertake a trip - inside Iraq - must announce it to its students and request those who wish to participate
in it to submit written consent from their guardian. It is required that the trip announcement contains its nature, duration, the destination
intended to be visited, and the cost for each student.
2 - The school administration must nominate from among its teachers someone to be responsible for managing the students and inform you of their name. This
responsible teacher is tasked with supervising the trip students, organizing their times, and determining places of residence, rest, touring, and so on.
There is no objection to nominating someone to assist them in their responsibility if the number of students is large, just as there is no objection to some students also assisting
in the tasks assigned by the teacher responsible for the trip, provided that these students possess integrity of character and strength of
personality.
3 - The school administration must inform the traveling students by specifying what they must bring with them on the trip, such as bedding, tools,
supplies, etc., and it must also prohibit what it does not see a necessity in bringing.
4 - To achieve the purposes of school trips, participating students must be encouraged to write down their observations about it, and we prefer
that these observations be edited in preparation for becoming a unified report on the trip worthy of publication in the school newsletter.
5 - It is highly recommended that the destinations intended to be visited are those where scientific, artistic, or
social benefits are available, and there is no doubt that school trips aim to achieve these aspects above all else.
6 - As for trips outside Iraq, this Ministry ⟦illegible⟧ in its matter and determining the destinations intended for the visit,
specifying the number of students authorized to participate in the trip, and setting the instructions responsible for the matter. We favor the participation of more than
one school in these external school trips, and in such trips, a teacher must be appointed for every twenty students,
provided that they have social capabilities and experience with the places intended to be visited.
7 - We do not favor undertaking school trips outside Iraq before the first half of the school year has passed. As for inside
Iraq, trips and their days should be reduced as much as possible during the aforementioned time.
8 - The school administration intending to undertake a trip must inform you about it 15 days before undertaking it, and you - in your turn -
must inform the Directorate of Education of the province to be visited and the official authorities there - if necessary - of the date of the trip and its
full, actual curriculum.
