We transmit to you below a copy of the letter from the Ministry of Education - Directorate of School Health - Number
11892, dated April 24, 1948, regarding medical reports granted to male and female students
during examination times. Please review it and act according to its contents literally. Be advised
that school administrations are responsible for implementing it perfectly.

Please circulate to all school principals under your jurisdiction to follow the following regarding medical reports
granted to male and female students during examination times. We also request emphasizing to school principals
the necessity of notifying all male and female students, considering them responsible for implementing it in the best manner:
1- Medical reports for postponing examinations are not accepted except from the medical committee in the Directorate
of School Health in Baghdad or school doctors in the provinces. In the absence of a school doctor
in one of the provinces or examination centers, the report granted by the provincial health presidency or center
doctors is included.
2- The male or female student must appear before the medical committee in the Directorate of School Health in
Baghdad, or the school doctors in the provinces, or the official doctor in the center to which the student belongs
before the examination for a period not exceeding one week and not less than one day.
3- No reviews are accepted during the examination sessions except for sudden accidents
that occur in the examination center, which are sent to the medical committee in Baghdad or the school doctor in the province
or the official doctor in the absence of a school doctor in the locations where the student is tested,
and via the examination center director ⟦...⟧.
4- Students' review before the examination days shall be by an official letter from the school
administration, while during examination times, their review must be via the director of the examination center
where they are being tested ⟦...⟧.
5- The medical committee in Baghdad meets during the period mentioned in the second paragraph
above, from twelve o'clock until the end of official working hours. Likewise, school doctors
in the provinces shall be in their places during the mentioned time ⟦...⟧.
6- If a male or female student falls ill on one of the examination days, they must consult the Directorate
of School Health in Baghdad, or the school clinic in the province, or the official doctor in a location where
there is no school doctor before the start of the examinations for that day for examination and to decide on their participation
or exemption. If they cannot attend on the day of their illness, they must inform the Directorate of School Health
in Baghdad, or school doctors in the provinces, or the official doctor to decide what is necessary regarding that.
