His Excellency the Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Community, Respected
After greetings
Mohammed Nazem is the ⟦tenant⟧ of the house numbered ⟦94/24⟧ in Souq Hanoun above the shop of Aziz the Grocer for an amount
of 36 Dinars annually, and its current rental value is estimated at 120 Dinars annually, paid in installments
monthly in the amount of 3 Dinars at the beginning of each month. When he was late in payment for one month and came to pay
what he owed for two months, I did not receive it from him on the pretext that his rental replacement is monthly and he did not renew it
And it is known that he has a previous lease agreement that expires on 1 / 2 / 1953
And he did not agree to renew the contract, but rather started paying the rent monthly without delay, and when he was late for one month
I did not receive it from him in order to present the case to your esteemed committee to inform us how to act accordingly

His Excellency the President of the Jewish Community, the Honorable Sassoon Khadduri
Greetings:
You had requested from me details about Mahdi al-Hussein, the usurper of the house numbered 151/70 Faraj Allah
And here are the details for Your Excellency
The previous secretary had leased this house on 5/10/1951 for an amount of 20 Dinars annually
to Mahdi al-Hussein, and the tenant paid only two and a half Dinars and remained in it for a long time, and later
he paid 12.500 Dinars and refused to pay. If we calculate it based on the same previous rent amount
there will be a debt of 114.500 Dinars against him until the end of the eighth month of 1955
As for my estimation of the current rental value, it is estimated at five Dinars per month, i.e., sixty Dinars annually
or more if this house is vacated. The matter is yours to decide.

Copy of the Warning
To Mr. Mohammad Nazem Jarjis, tenant of the house numbered 224/94 T Hanoon Kabeer
Since you have prevented the tenant of the warehouse numbered 224/94 B from opening a smoke outlet in the wall
belonging to our respected community, your action has caused damage estimated at an amount of 96
dinars, which is the annual rent of the warehouse, in addition to the damages that we will claim from you because of your openings of apartments
also overlooking our property and by your dumping of sewage inside the warehouse as well. Therefore, we warn you within
three days from the date of your receipt of this warning of the necessity to retract your position, otherwise
we will be forced to resort to legal measures against you while holding you liable for the entire annual rent of the warehouse
and all lawsuit and trial expenses.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Community, respected
Greetings:
I have searched for a tenant for the abandoned ruin located near Khan Abi Thabit Street, and this tenant's
name is Ismail Abdul Ghafour, a man of good character and fair, and he has paid a reasonable price after negotiating
with him. It is known that this ruin has an open door and shop owners use it as their latrines,
and the community has not benefited from it at all during this entire period.
As for now, the aforementioned tenant is ready to take it as-is for one year; we will make a contract for him and he will pay
an amount of 80 Dinars annually, and if he wants to do any work in it, he will do so at his own expense and from his
own private funds. We request your Excellency to authorize us to receive the money from him, and we thank you greatly because by your
acceptance of this, the revenues will increase.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Israelite Community, the Respected
After greetings:
I have been informed that the ruins called the House of Khoja Abdullah have been vacated by their occupants and I went down
to inspect them and found them empty. If they remain empty for a day or two, the Sharoukia will occupy them by force
and we will not be able to do anything. A Sharouki man came offering seventy Dinars annually to let
Arabs live in it, meaning hair tents.
As for Abboudi Abboudi Abu al-Jassim, he is ready to pay an annual rent of
one hundred Dinars in cash, so we request your Excellency to give us your orders lest the property be lost.
