and Haron Ibrahim Ishaq for reference.
1- Expulsion of the student Maurice Ibrahim Rahim for a period of two weeks and the deduction of twenty marks from his conduct, provided that the implementation of

out of mercy for him.
2- Providing the student Haron Ibrahim Ishaq with a transfer certificate to another school after he submits a written apology

Announcement
Subject: Punishment of a Student
In view of the attempt by student Maurice Ibrahim Ezra Rahim, who is in the first intermediate grade (B),
to cheat in Madame Sourati's lesson on Tuesday, 4/30/1957, the
administration, based on the request of the concerned teacher, has decided the following:
First: Deducting five points from his conduct average.
Second: His grade in the French language shall be zero.
Fifteen points had previously been deducted from the same student's conduct average on 2/12/57,
and therefore the total number of points deducted from his conduct average has reached twenty points.
This is with the knowledge that the administration has previously and repeatedly warned students that it will impose the severest
penalties against any student who attempts to cheat, and that it is fully keen on developing the spirit of integrity
in work among students and urging them toward good behavior as much as it cares for the scientific
and cultural aspect.

11 / 4 / 1957 and decided to impose a temporary expulsion penalty for one week on the student
Maurice Ibrahim Mizra Habib from the First Intermediate Class (B) starting from
Friday 12 / 4 / 1957. The committee also decided to deduct fifteen points

of the student's confession of his mistake and considering that his deprivation from school attendance will lead
to his deprivation from the third quarter exams which will take place on Friday and Sunday
corresponding to 12 / 4 / 1957 and 14 / 4 / 1957, it was decided to implement the expulsion penalty starting
from Monday 15 / 4 / 1957.

Other Examinations passed by the above candidate:
1 - Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Primary Education in June 1955. This examination is, in standard, equivalent roughly to the Common Entrance Examination of the English School or to grade 7 of the American School.
2 - Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Intermediate Education in June 1959, ranking 11th among 32 candidates from Frank Iny School.
3 - London University General Certificate of Education Examination in the following subject:-
Grade Obtained | Subject | Level | Date
5 | Pure Mathematics | Ordinary | June 1960
In addition to the above, J. S. Joseph will be sitting in January 1961 for the London University G. C. E. Examinations in Physics and Chemistry at the ordinary level.
Prior to his joining Frank Iny Intermediate School in October 1955, the above candidate did six years of Primary Schooling at Adel Primary School in Baghdad.
While in Frank Iny School and Shamash Secondary School both of which are under ⟦the same⟧ administration, the above candidate was always diligent and of good character.
At present J. S. Joseph is attending the Fifth Form of Shamash Secondary School and is making good progress. In June 1961 he will be sitting for the Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Secondary Education, Scientific Section. To judge by his Secondary School record, he should be able to pass this examination satisfactorily in due course. He will then be eligible for entry into any higher Institute of University standard in Iraq.
J. S. Joseph is physically and mentally quite fit. I recommend him for further studies abroad as a fairly good candidate.
