Reference to your letter numbered M / 10 / Sh / 2 / Q / 2841 / 13 / 3 dated 20 / 8 / 1961.
We confirm to you that the two documents numbered Sh / 617, Sh / 619 dated 23 / 7 / 1961 were issued by the administration
of this school and they belong to the same student. As for the reason for granting him two documents, each bearing a name different from the other, the
reason is that the student was carrying an old civil status book in which he was registered under the name (Ezra Eddy) Victor Elia Shaul, therefore he
was registered in our records with this same name appearing in his civil status book and in the non-revocation of citizenship identity card belonging to his father
and he continued to carry this name from the time of his registration in our school until his graduation from preparatory school. He had previously
been provided with school documents under this name. However, the mentioned student recently obtained a 1947 registration civil status book
under the name Eddy Victor Ezra Elia Shaul, therefore he submitted a request to this school asking to correct his name and make it match his civil
status book for the year 1947, and per the request of the First Karrada Al-Sharqiya Recruitment Committee No. 1151 on 10 / 8 / 1961 to delete
the first name (Ezra), we contacted the Directorate of Education of Baghdad Governorate / Rusafa in our letter No. Sh / 61 / 66 on
10 / 8 / 1961 regarding the correction of the name, and it approved in its letter No. 33794 on 13 / 8 / 1961, a copy of which is attached
herewith, the correction. Therefore, the name was corrected in the documents numbered Sh / 589, Sh / 568, Sh / 617
dated 30 / 4 / 1961, 29 / 11 / 1960, 23 / 7 / 1961, and we were unable to correct the name in the document
numbered Sh / 619 dated 23 / 7 / 1961 because it was not with its owner at that time. Accordingly, the
correct name for the aforementioned person has become Eddy Victor Ezra Elia Shaul instead of (Ezra Eddy) Victor Elia Shaul, and
his name has been corrected in all our school records. Therefore, all documents that will be provided to the aforementioned person will bear
the <del>correct</del> corrected name mentioned.

Iraq. In June 1960, I finished the fourth Form of this School and
was promoted to the fifth Form. At present I am attending the
fifth Form which, in standard, is equivalent roughly to Grade Twelve
of the American High School.
In addition, I sat in June 1960 for the General Certifi-
cate of Education examinations (G.C.E.) of the University of London,
in Classical Arabic and passed it, at the Ordinary Level.
In June 1961 I shall be sitting for the ⟦London University⟧
G.C.E. examinations in English and French languages, Physics and Pure
Mathematics at the Ordinary Level.
On October 18th, 1960, I sat for the P.S.A.T. Exam. given
by the College Entrance Examinations Board of Box 592, Princeton,
New Jersey, U.S.A., through their Examination Centre in Baghdad. On
March 18th, 1961, I shall be taking the Scholastic Aptitude Test and
the Achievement Tests, which are given by the same Board, in the three
following subjects - Intermediate Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

2. Certificat d'Etudes Primaires Examination, conducted by the French Embassy, Baghdad in May 1957, ranking 24th among 44 candidates from Frank Iny School.
3. Brevet Elementaire Examination in French, Literary Section, conducted by the French Embassy, Baghdad in May 1959, ranking 12th among 17 candidates from Frank Iny School.
4. Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Intermediate Education, in June 1959, ranking 8th among 32 candidates of Frank Iny School.
5. Sat in June 1960 for the General Certificate of Education Examinations (G.C.E.) of the University of London, in Classical Arabic and passed it, at the ordinary level.
In addition to the above, Mr. Ezra-Eddie Victor Elia Shaoul will be sitting in June 1961 for the London University G.C.E. Examinations in English and French languages, Physics and Pure Mathematics, at the ordinary level.
Prior to his joining Frank Iny Intermediate School in October 1956, the above candidate did six years of primary schooling at Menahem Daniel Primary School, which is known to be one of the good schools in Baghdad.
While in Frank Iny School and Shamash Secondary School, both of which are under the same administration, the above candidate was always diligent and of good character.
At present Mr. Ezra-Eddie Victor Elia Shaoul is attending the Fifth Form of Shamash Secondary School and is making good progress. In June 1961 he will be sitting the Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Secondary Education, Scientific Section. To judge by his Secondary School Record, he should be able to pass this Examination in due course. He will then be eligible for entry into any higher Institute of University standard in Iraq.
The above candidate is physically and mentally quite fit. He is supplied with this Certificate at his own request.
