In addition, there are several copies of the 1960-1961 Shamash Secondary School class rosters for grade/form five.

In Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology and Geology, two grades will appear (e.g. 6 6). The first represents the grade obtained in the subject as

No further information about performance in the examination will be supplied by the University. The decisions of the Examiners, which have been
reached after the most careful consideration, are final.

Other Examinations passed by the above candidate:

1- Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Primary Education in June 1956 passing with distinction and ranking 2nd among 15 candidates from Frank Iny Primary School. This examination is, in standard, equivalent roughly to the Common Entrance Examination of the English School or to grade 7 of the American School.
2- Certificat d'Etudes Primaires Examination, conducted by a special Commission from the Lebanon in May 1957, ranking 22nd among 44 candidates from Frank Iny School.
3- Cambridge University Lower Certificate Examination in English for overseas students in December, 1958.
4- Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Intermediate Education in June 1959, ranking 5th among 32 candidates from Frank Iny School.

5- London University General Certificate of Education Examination in the following subjects:-

In addition to the above S.G. Shina sat in January 1961 for the London University G.C.E. Examination in French at the ordinary level. The result of this examination is expected to be announced by the British Council in Baghdad, sometime toward the end of April next.

Prior to his joining Frank Iny Primary School in October 1951, the above candidate did one year of Primary Schooling at the old-established Alliance School in Baghdad which was united with Frank Iny Primary School in October 1951.

While in Frank Iny School and Shamash Secondary School, both of which are under the same administration, the above candidate distinguished himself as a brilliant student of good character. On more than one occasion during the different stages of his studies in these two schools, he won School prizes for excellence in his academic work.

At present the above candidate is attending the Fifth Form of
Shamash Secondary School and is doing extremely well. In June 1961
he will be sitting for the Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for
Secondary Education, Scientific Section. To judge by his Secondary
School record, he should be able to pass this examination with
distinction in due course. He will then be eligible for entry into
any higher institute of University standard in Iraq.

S.G. Shina is physically and mentally quite fit. I recommend
him for admission to any University abroad as an excellent candidate.

While in Frank Iny School and Shamash Secondary School,
both of which are under my administration, the above candidate
distinguished himself as a brilliant student of good character.
On more than one occasion during the different stages of his
studies in these two schools, he won School prizes for excellence
in his academic work.

At present the above candidate is attending the Fifth
Form of Shamash Secondary School and is doing extremely well.
In June 1961 he will be sitting for the Iraq State Baccalaureate
Examination for Secondary Education, Scientific Section. -
To judge by his Secondary School record, he should be able to
pass this examination with distinction in due course. He will
then be eligible for entry into any higher Institute of
University standard in Iraq.

S. G. Shina is physically and mentally quite fit. -
