There is correspondence from the 1930s-1940s between the Jewish Lay Council, Jewish Hospitals Committee and various school administrations. Other documents include court cases, requests for financial help, and deeds and property records owned by the Baghdadi Jewish community. There are also architectural drawing plans, contracts, and correspondence discussing price negotiations. This is followed by student files from the 1960s, containing individual student records, exam scores, student certifications, admissions forms, letters of recommendation, photographs, and correspondence regarding student affairs. There is a printed booklet notating a teachers’ school service record from 1944. There are collections of receipts from the Administrative Committee for Iraqi Jews, the South British Insurance Company, the Rafidain Insurance Company, various local vendors and taxi services, pharmacies, utilities, as well as rosters of patient information and correspondence from the Ministry of Culture of Iranian Schools in Iraq.

To the Jewish Community - Baghdad.
We inform you of some damage occurring in the electrical installations of the Manshi Saleh building, numbered 137/59
located in the Torah neighborhood and rented to Palestinian refugees, as a result of heavy rainfall which
led to this malfunction and the damage of some wires, which prompted us to cut the electrical current
from the aforementioned building and leave the families without light for fear of damage to other electrical installations
and others.
Therefore, please expedite the repair of the fault and inspect all remaining wires and ensure their safety to prevent
dangers that may arise from using them again, and to act in accordance with what was stated in the fifth paragraph
of the lease agreement, which states: "The second party shall bear the cost of damages that may occur (breaking
glass and doors during the lease period) as a result of the second party's negligence. Other destructions such as damage
to ceilings, subsidence of a spot of ground, collapse of walls, roof parapets, or failure of electrical
or water installations, and the removal of any danger occurring to the building during the lease period (unless it was intentional
or due to negligence by the second party), then their repair shall be on the lessor, the first party, if they so wish; otherwise, the second
party has the right to vacate the building and recover the remainder of the rent or carry them out and recover them from the first party."
Therefore, please implement what is stated above and carry out the required repairs and inform us as quickly as possible.
