Subject: Book requests from the warehouse
⟦line⟧
Most schools have become accustomed to submitting their requests for textbooks annually according to student needs
at the beginning of the school year, and we have noticed that this is impractical as many students lose their books
during the year or some need them during school days, especially students transferred
from other schools where it is difficult for them to obtain books, so they are forced to visit the warehouse
to obtain their needs for books, contrary to the procedures followed in this regard, as the task of
the warehouse is to provide schools with books and not students individually, in addition to what that requires
of a lengthy procedure to obtain a book. Therefore, we believe that schools should add to their request a reserve
of books at a rate of 10 percent of the original request to meet the needs of students in emergency situations,
and what remains of these books until the end of the school year can be added to the needs for the second year.
Hoping to observe this with all precision.

The science of meanings (Ilm al-Ma'ani) - the subject in question - is taught in the fifth scientific grades as
a review, so there is no objection to the distribution of Arabic language lesson grades according to the details mentioned
in the letter of the Directorate of Technical Affairs No. 7281 dated 24 / 2 / 1953.
What we recommend is to re-notify the Arabic language teachers in all secondary schools
of this decision and emphasize the re-teaching of this science in the mentioned grades.

Many English language teachers have become accustomed to not setting a daily lesson plan under the pretext
that they have a guide containing all the teaching plans (and they may teach)
from the prescribed book without utilizing this guide during their teaching, and most of them claim
that they have previously studied the lesson at home and that the aforementioned book is in their home, and thus
they fall into problems and mistakes they might have avoided if they had used the mentioned book and brought it to class
Please instruct all male and female English language teachers in the provinces to follow the following:-
1/ Recording the lesson plan distributed over the weeks and months of the year as is the custom followed by teachers of
other subjects.
2/ Indicating in the daily plan in the preparation notebook the lesson number and the paragraphs intended to be taught
and referring to the plan pages found in the mentioned guide
3/ Bringing the mentioned book along with the prescribed book into the classroom to utilize it.
4/ Instructing all male and female primary school inspectors to note this when they conduct inspections
Also, please kindly send a copy of this circular to all teacher training institutes and educational

The writing of students in primary schools is progressing from good to better, and the writing of students in
the fifth grades is broken according to the models in the first and second workbooks, but this writing begins
in the third workbook starting from page ten to the end of the workbook.
A group of teachers do not look at this aspect seriously, so I request that instructions be issued
to all English language teachers in the provinces to do the following:-
1 / Emphasizing to sixth-grade students the necessity of writing in a cursive manner according to the models in the workbook
the third one prescribed for the sixth grade from page ten to the end of the workbook ⟦line⟧
2 / Emphasizing to students when solving the prescribed book exercises to write in a cursive manner in the regular
notebooks.
3 / Requesting teachers to use cursive writing when they write on the blackboard.
Furthermore, students in the first intermediate grade will continue with this type of writing in the fourth workbook
starting from next year.
Please be so kind as to send a copy of this circular to all teacher training institutes and educational
courses.
