⟦line⟧ (Text of the Letter) ⟦line⟧
It is no secret that school examinations have profound educational and guiding importance at the time students' results are decided
as they guide the teacher and the administration to areas of weakness and strength, thus being among the factors that guide the teacher and the administration to
the areas that must be addressed; they are not merely an exam to know the student's level. Accordingly, it is hoped these exams
will be guiding and directing and form an essential part of the genera⟦line⟧l educational plan.
We have noticed, despite the emphasis of the Ministry and the institutes that train teachers, that some teachers and school administrations follow
in examinations paths that do not achieve the intended educational results, such as suspending some lessons in the week preceding
the examinations, which leads to a reduction of the academic year in addition to the bad impression that this action leaves
in the minds of the pupils. For this reason, we would like to emphasize once again that, except for the time actually allocated for examinations, studies must continue
during the other days as usual and be utilized for study and guidance purposes, especially in a year like this in which
students lost a considerable amount of time despite the extension of study in secondary schools, teachers' colleges,
vocational schools, and educational courses until June 8. If this holds true in normal circumstances, it is truer for this
year. Therefore, we hope to ensure that examinations run only in the week allocated for them and to ensure that no other time is lost due to the machinery
of these examinations.

This Ministry has authorized in previous letters the closure of some intermediate and secondary schools and
teachers' training institutes, then reopening them and registering in them on clear bases. Registration has been reopened
in all those schools and studies have resumed in them.
In order to ensure the continuation of studies and enable students to take advantage of this opportunity and compensate for what
they missed in the past, we request all teachers' councils in secondary and intermediate schools and
teachers' training institutes for boys and girls to dismiss any student who was re-registered after he and his guardian pledged to attend
and obey the regulations and behave with the conduct of a student aware of his duties towards himself, his family, and his homeland, if
he returns to striking or is called to demonstrate or intentionally absents himself during the period of strikes and demonstrations
from attendance. We also hope that the teachers' council will take this decision and announce it to the male and female students
immediately upon your receipt of this circular and inform the competent authorities such as the military command and recruitment offices

The final exam results in most schools have been published, and school documents
are still reaching us devoid of the information that must be recorded in them after the results appear, which indicates
the student's participation in the final exam or the general exam. We request that you ask the administrations of
your province's schools to record the exam results in the documents once they appear, such as writing in them
(The student participated in the final and general exams and his result was success, completion, or failure)
In the event that they have not appeared, we request that it be recorded (and the results have not appeared yet). This is in addition to the information
that we requested from you in our circular No. 1867 dated 12 / 1 / 56 regarding the organization of documents, and we will
refrain from certifying documents that reach us devoid of the information mentioned above in the future.
