Subject / Request for allocation of an additional grant to carry out
the repairs needed by the Rimah Khedouri
Eyes Hospital
After greetings and respect
Our committee has studied the situation of the Rimah Khedouri Eyes Hospital and noted after a visit by
the committee members that there is room to benefit on a wider scale from the available technical efficiency. However,
this matter depends on carrying out some repairs, the costs of which were estimated at about one thousand dinars.
These repairs include creating suitable rooms for the sleeping of paying patients and making them in a condition
that helps them undergo operations and sleep in the hospital. It was noted that the required existing rooms
are available but they need painting, furnishing, heating and cooling means, sinks, and electrical installations.
There are also some minor renovations inside the hospital that it is advisable to carry out to maintain
order and cleanliness, by separating the treatment area for free patients from paying patients and similar
repairs.
All these installations are very necessary to be able to obtain the required benefit from
the mentioned hospital. Since the ⟦current⟧ financial situation of the hospitals does not help to allocate the required amounts
from its budget due to the accumulated deficit under whose burden its budget groans. Our committee saw fit to approach
your esteemed council to allocate an additional grant for this year to enable us to carry out these repairs.
These repairs will be included in the estimated budget that will be submitted to your
esteemed council soon.
Please accept our highest respect.
