of the Hilla Province, and you will find attached the inspection report organized by us amounting to 450/- Dinars
for the necessary repairs required by the local authorities in Hilla.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to send a copy of the inspection report to the competent authorities
to obtain their approval to carry out the repairs according to the report by them or
through them and under their supervision, as if we carry out the repairs ourselves it will cost us
more in terms of guarantees and other things. Please accept our highest respect.

With reference to your letter No. 1095 dated 1953/7/8 (Local Administration)
1 - We kindly request the payment of the second installment of the rent for the Saleh Sassoon school building belonging to this Presidency, amounting to one hundred and fifty dinars. As for the required repairs, please note the third paragraph below.
2 - We also kindly request the organization of the lease contract for the new year starting on 1953/10/6 - along the lines of previous contracts - and kindly send a copy to us for signature and return.
3 - Since the third paragraph of the lease contract stipulated the spending of 15% (fifteen percent) of the annual rent on repairs, this Presidency has authorized your esteemed Mutasarrifate to spend no more than the mentioned percentage of 15% of the annual rent, to use what is necessary for the repairs required in the letter of the Directorate of Education of Hilla Province No. 3432/15 dated 1953/2/31, supported by your letter No. 759 dated 1953/5/7, requesting that you inform us of the amount spent from it ⟦line⟧ .
