Translation of the secret letter from the District Governor of Halabja, No. S/127
dated March 19, 1932, addressed to this Governorate.
Subject - Iranian Immigrants.
With reference to your letter No. S/1/193 dated March 14, 1932, addressed to the Ministry
of Interior, with a copy to this office.
We have dispatched Commissioner Ahmed Effendi with a police detachment to the left bank of the Sirwan River
to conduct an investigation and search for the six Iranian households and deport them with their property to the
district center, and from there to the provincial center. They will be escorted to the provincial center as soon as they reach the
district center.
As for the remaining five households, a certificate was organized by the chiefs of Tawgozi and the Sayyids
of that region, indicating that they are of Iraqi origin but used to make winter and summer trips like the Jaf
tribe. They have farms in that region and do not wish to leave for summer resorts now, preferring to reside
there. Please inform us of the procedure to be taken regarding these five households. Enclosed herewith is
the original of the aforementioned certificate, with the request to return it to us after reviewing it.

Subject - Muhammad Rida Bey son of Jaafar Sultan.
Further to our symbolic telegram No. S/221 dated 28 / 3 / 1932.
When Ahmad Bey son of Jaafar Sultan arrived and surrendered himself to me in my house and I spoke with him, and
Mustafa Bey participated in the conversation, Mustafa Bey uttered words from which it appears that Muhammad Rida Bey
was among his fugitive brothers who are wanted and was not with his mother as he stated in the police department.
Therefore, we see that it is necessary to implement the instructions of the Ministry of Interior regarding Muhammad Rida Bey -
just like his other brothers.
