Duraid also lived until Islam but he did not convert. He went out to the Battle of Hunayn satisfied and enthusiastic with his opinion and was killed on that day. He also had three brothers, one of whom was Abdullah, and they were killed in different raids. The Banu Ghatfan killed his brother Abdullah because Duraid raided them and stole their camels. His brother Abdullah stopped to divide the spoils of war and Duraid tried to convince him to withdraw for fear of the Banu Ghatfan catching up with them, but his brother Abdullah insisted on his opinion
