Summary of the conditions under which foreign telegrams are accepted
- This telegram is sent in accordance with the foreign telegraph instructions published in the Iraqi Post and Telegraph Guide.
- The Iraqi Post and Telegraph Administration shall not be responsible for any delay, error, loss, or damage that may occur to the telegram due to non-transmission, non-delivery, or error in transmission or distribution.
- Compound or altered words that do not convey the explicit meaning of the language in which the private foreign telegram is written may not be accepted.
- The sender of the telegram must indicate in the space provided on the left side of the address on the face of the form his desire to send the telegram via any of the telegraph routes used, or indicate that it is urgent or that the reply fee is prepaid. If the telegram is for the benefit of the Iraqi government, the word (Official) shall be written.
- The Iraqi Post and Telegraph Administration has the right to refuse to register the telegram, and it also has the right not to send it even if it has been registered for transmission or distribution. In this case, the fee shall be returned to the sender upon submission of a request for that.
- Requests related to the recovery of fees and all complaints about telegrams shall be submitted to the General Directorate of Posts and Telegraphs in Baghdad.
- To prevent errors, this telegram should be written carefully and clearly.

3- Compound or substituted words that do not convey the explicit meaning of the language in which the private foreign telegram is written may not be accepted
4- The sender of the telegram must write in the space provided on the left side of the address on the face of the form his desire to send the telegram by any route ⟦illegible⟧
the telegraph used, or write that it is urgent or that the fee for its reply is paid in advance. If the telegram is in the interest of the Iraqi government, the word ⟦illegible⟧ is written
