A fact we mention for history without fear or favoritism.

And we only mean by it the city of Kufa or what
they call "Sarihat al-Kufa" or "the Bridge of
Kufa". It is about a mile away from the
ancient historical Kufa Mosque. It is a sub-district according
to the administrative formation, located on the banks of the Euphrates
"Al-Hindiya branch" after the lands of Alwa al-Fahl
and the shore of Al-Bu Hadari directly towards the south.
Najaf is distant from it, which is the district to which
the Kufa sub-district belongs, by about eleven miles
towards the west. Kufa was developed in its early
days as a port for the trade of Najaf and a center for their travels.
