In participation in the fateful battle fought by our Arab nation and in support of our just national
causes, it is requested that your schools contribute all their energies and capabilities to make the cause of Palestine
a part of daily school life - morally and materially - until final victory is achieved .. and proceeding
towards this noble goal, we list for you below some steps that can be followed to collect
sums in the name of (Palestine and the War Effort), provided that a special committee is formed in each school to take
the necessary actions regarding the subject in accordance with established procedures, and our directorate will send all collected amounts
to the relevant authorities in the name of each school with thanks and appreciation.
1- Holding various school parties and art exhibitions whose proceeds are dedicated to the war project, and thereby we achieve
two goals: the first is national awareness represented by the party materials, and the second is collecting funds.
2- Printing school newsletters - magazines - sold on a large scale, the proceeds of which are dedicated to the project, as in addition
to what those magazines contain of intellectual benefit and national, scientific, and educational guidance, thus the student
who cannot pay money contributes through the effort they provide in this field.

Subject / Student visits to museums
In view of the start of the school year and for the purpose of organizing school visits to museums,
the Directorate General of Antiquities requested us in its letter No. 6518 on 19 / 9 / 1967
conveyed to us by the Ministry of Education letter 36557 on 26 / 9 / 1967, the necessity of the
school administration contacting the Iraq Museum information desk by telephone at number (37425) a
suitable period in advance to schedule the student visit date, prior to requesting official
approvals, due to the congestion that occurs from the arrival of dozens of schools at
the same time, which makes the aforementioned Directorate unable to provide the
necessary assistance regarding guides to explain the exhibits for the full intended benefit. We hope
you note this and act accordingly.
