In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(Copy of the Letter)
Based on what was stated in the letter from the Presidency of the Supreme Council of Universities No. 67 dated 6/15/1968
which includes the assumption by each of the three official universities (University of Baghdad - Mosul - Basra) of the affairs of
Arab and foreign scholarship students who belong to them according to its recommendations shown in its letter numbered
61 dated ⟦line⟧ on 6/1/1968 and on the condition that the Supreme Council undertakes the coordination of admission matters
between the three universities. Based on the above, we decided to detach university students and attach them to the Presidency
of the Supreme Council of Universities in Baghdad, provided that the connection of students below the university level remains with the office of
this Ministry as of 6/1/68, and that letters regarding non-university students should be sent
to the Directorate of General Cultural Relations / Secretariat of International Students.
