Arabism Greetings
The General Union of Palestine Students - Baghdad Branch is pleased to extend its sincere greetings for the new year
hoping it will be a year of launching in the field of revolutionary scientific progress.
On this occasion, we would like to inform you that Palestinian students - secondary section - used to be exempted
from tuition fees regarding schools belonging to your esteemed syndicate, while regarding private
schools, they used to receive a type of discount that was not proportionate to their economic situation.
It is no secret to your Excellency the harsh life faced by the children of Palestine and their deprivation from receiving
education, which is a decisive factor in the cause of the Return.
For all this, the Union hopes, as is known in our revolutionary era expressing the interests of the popular classes,
we request instructions to be sent to all private schools to consider this request of ours with seriousness and interest by reducing
tuition fees to the maximum extent possible, especially as the start of the school year has approached.
May you remain for the struggle for the Return.

We have noticed that some school administrations do not receive the mail belonging to the school sharing the same building with them.
This undoubtedly indicates a lack of cooperation in serving the public interest.
Therefore, we request all school administrations to receive mail from the distributors that belongs to other schools
operating in the same building, with the necessity of protecting it from damage and loss. We also request that you maintain the
confidentiality of communications regardless of their type, and that the recipient signs the hand-delivery book with the distributor as a notification

The thing that industrial schools take pride in is to see the results of their efforts and continuous
vigilance for the interest of the students, such as knowing that some of their graduates manage a large company and others
manage an individual project or hold a high position of any kind, or work in a technical job in
an official, semi-official, or private institution, or have continued their higher education, and so on. It is also
important for them to monitor the progression of these graduates in jobs and businesses to benefit from this
information by exerting efforts to find a future for those who obtain work. Unless all these
graduates cooperate with this Ministry by providing continuous and ongoing information about every change
that occurs to them in their work, the desired benefit that we seek to achieve for the rest of their fellow
graduates will not be realized. Therefore, we request all graduates of industrial schools wherever they are and in whatever
year they graduated to send to the Directorate of Industrial Education at the office of this Ministry the following
information and to continue sending updated information from time to time.
1 - Name
2 - The industrial school from which they graduated and the year of graduation
3 - Study or training after graduation
4 - The jobs they have progressed through since graduation until now

We attach herewith lists of names of some professional and national books that must be added to the library holdings of
the schools affiliated with you so that members of the teaching staff in all schools can review them, as the
intention is to reward the diligent teacher who frequently reads professional and national books with awareness, focus, and understanding

Therefore, every member of the teaching staff must read no less than two books in the first
half of the year and two other books in the second half of it. The General Inspectorate will be responsible

The Republic Gardens Committee at the Railways has decided to open the doors of
the Republic Gardens to our male and female students starting from Monday,
10/21/1963, from eight o'clock in the morning until two o'clock in the afternoon
every day.
Therefore, the Republic Gardens Committee hopes you will encourage all schools
to visit the Republic Gardens and spend an enjoyable time within them for entertainment, viewing,
and study, especially since the zoo now includes exotic groups of
animals worthy of study and viewing. Accordingly, please issue a call to the schools of
the capital to conduct school trips to the Republic Gardens as in previous years,
please.

It is no secret the impact that scientific courses have on consolidating information in the minds of teachers
and renewing it, and informing them of the development occurring in the field of science
Therefore, the Directorate of Curricula and Books has decided to open a course for male and female chemistry teachers
Its duration is four months, in which teaching will be in the morning for six hours per week, and its headquarters will be
in the College of Science, and college professors will lecture in it. It is required that the members do not take lessons
in their schools in the morning, meaning that their attendance is in the evening only. Graduates of this course
will be prioritized over others during promotion and when granting fellowships or assignments
Therefore, we hope to circulate this to the male and female teachers specialized in chemistry
belonging to your school and wishing to participate in this course to submit their applications to us to be sent
to the Ministry, provided that this does not exceed the date 1 / 11 / 1963.
