Registration of students for the academic year 1955 / 1956
The administration of the Frank Iny and Shamash schools announces that student registration will take place during the period that
begins on Monday, September 19, 1955, and ends on Friday, the 23rd of the same month. All
new and old students must take the initiative to register during this period while observing the following:
First - The school administration cannot guarantee places for students who are late in their registration beyond this
date, whether they are new or old students.
Second - Every student who is late for registration by the date specified
above shall be deprived of the school fee exemption, whether their exemption last year was total or partial.
Third - Upon registration, the student pays half of the prescribed school fees as a first installment, in addition to the fees
for extracurricular activities as usual.
Fourth - Every student who is late in paying the first installment of school fees beyond the specified registration date
above (i.e., Friday, September 23, 1955), without compelling reasons that convince the administration,
shall be obligated to pay an additional amount over their prescribed school fees, in the event that
they are accepted into this school after the aforementioned registration date.
Fifth - Every student who wishes to join the first intermediate class or the fourth preparatory class must
bring with them three copies of their photograph with a fifty-fils revenue stamp along with the non-
drop-out ID belonging to them or their family, with the full address of the residence and the place of work of their guardian.
The same applies to every new student wishing to join any other class.
Sixth - The student who wishes to participate in student transport buses must pay, in addition
to their school fees, an amount of four dinars as a first installment if their residence is in areas
near the school, and five dinars if their residence is on Al-Rashid Street or Ghazi Street
or in Karrada, as was the case last year. This is with the knowledge that the school administration will
not be responsible for making the necessary arrangements for the student's means of transport if they are late in paying the fees
for the car after the end of the registration period.
Seventh - If the student is late for registration within the deadline set by the Ministry of Education, they will not be accepted
in the school after that date.
