The Respected Director of Rusafa Property Tax
Greetings,
I have obtained a building permit from the Baghdad Municipality under number 7118/43 dated 19 / 7 / 1961,
to construct a modern market on the properties numbered 29 / 138 and 10 / 137 in the Al-Tawrat neighborhood, consisting of 74 shops.
Due to necessity, some shops were partitioned, resulting in the additional numbers listed below. Since I have
paid the full Baghdad Municipality fees for all contents of this market, and since your respected department has prompted me
regarding the exemption of the shops whose numbers are listed below, I submit this petition requesting the exemption of the shops listed
below, similar to the rest of the market, from the date of completion of construction according to the regulations.
Please accept my highest respect.

The Honorable Chairman of the Appeals Committee for Sewerage Connection Fees
Through the Directorate of the General Sewerage Service
Subject / Objection to sewerage connection fees for the school
Frank Iny
Greetings
With reference to the connection fee assessment memorandum No. 9 dated 3 / 8 / 964 notified to us
on 4 / 8 / 964 regarding the Frank Iny School belonging to our committee.
And based on the provisions of Article 15 of the Sewerage Service Law No. 89 of 1963
we have come to object to the aforementioned assessment for the following reasons:
First: The aforementioned assessment is unfair and exaggerated, as the estimated rental value of the school building is not proportional
at all to the actual assessment.
Second: In addition to the legal reason mentioned above, we hope the Appeals Committee notes that the building
subject to assessment is a charitable endowment far from commercial interest.
Accordingly, we hope at least that the assessment will be proportional to the real estimated rental value, which does not exceed
two thousand dinars annually (2000/000 dinars).
Therefore, we request a reconsideration of the contested assessment and to make it proportional to the real estimated rental value.
