Your esteemed Secretariat has previously seized the two properties, sequence 103 and 4
and began contracting with the tenant and collecting the rent payments.
These two properties are registered in the Land Registry as an endowment (Waqf), and the Administrative Committee
of Iraqis holds the guardianship over them. We have notified your esteemed Secretariat of this in our letter
T/61/61 dated 1/14/61 and the letter from the Trustee of the Administrative Committee for Iraqi Jews
No. L/68/86 dated 1/12/1961 (we attach herewith copies of these two letters).
Therefore, please, after verifying this with the Baghdad Land Registry Directorate, release the two
aforementioned properties and notify the relevant parties accordingly.

Reference to your letter numbered 893 and dated 12 / 1 / 1961.
We have previously informed your honorable secretariat by the Administrative Committee's letter numbered 86 / 68 and dated
9 / 12 / 68 that the two properties sequence 104 and 103 Qanbar Ali are endowed according to the endowment deed
issued by the Baghdad Court of First Instance under number 209 / 124 and dated 27 / 7 / 1924, which is recorded
in the Tabu registers of the two mentioned properties, and we attach herewith a copy of this endowment for review.
Please note paragraphs 5 and 6 of the endowment, and due to the inability to continue managing the mentioned hospital
and to rectify the Meir Eliyahu Shlomo Daoud (Meir Elias) Hospital, the Lay Council
(Administrative Committee) managed the endowment, leased it, and collected its rental fees, and the mentioned
committee was spending the proceeds on the party concerned in the endowment, i.e., on the sick among the poor
of the Mosaic community in general.
