Reference to your letter numbered 301 / 417 dated 11 / 1 / 1969 and the two warnings numbered 2847 and 2846
dated 12 / 1 / 1969.
1 - The General Secretariat for Frozen Assets has seized all the endowments of Ezra Menachem Daniel
and Heskel Menachem Daniel since April 1968 and has begun collecting rental fees, and therefore
it is impossible for the Administrative Committee to submit additional tax lists or pay the basic
and additional taxes due.
2 - We have previously informed the General Revenue Directorate of the matter according to the Administrative Committee's letter numbered
72 / 168 dated 16 / 10 / 1968.
3 - Since the Administrative Committee has begun pursuing legal methods to annul the opposition of the General Secretariat
for Frozen Assets regarding the mentioned endowments, we will pay all taxes due or that will be due
on the mentioned endowments immediately upon the conclusion of the filed lawsuit and the return of management to our committee.

We inform you that the property numbered 52 / 103 Qanbar Ali neighborhood belonging to the Administrative Committee for Jews
Iraqi has been leased to the Directorate of Education for more than 18 years and its current rent
is 378/- Dinars annually after the legal reduction was applied to it <del>⟦illegible⟧</del>
and the property tax is deducted directly, and since the rent estimated in the memo referred to
above exceeds the actual rent, which is 378/- Dinars annually.
Therefore, we hope to verify with the Directorate of Education to reduce the assessment to the actual rent.

We inform you that the property with door number 26 / 114 Taht al-Takiya neighborhood as mentioned in
the ticket referred to above (noting that the previous number for this property was 36 / 114 Taht al-Takiya)
belonging to the Administrative Committee for Iraqi Jews is leased to the Directorate of General Social Services
for more than 15 years and its current rental value is - / 675 Dinars annually, after the
legal reduction was applied to it in accordance with the Law Amending the Real Estate Rent Control Law issued on
July 14, 1967, and the taxes are deducted directly by the leasing department and sent to you, and since
the value mentioned in the ticket exceeds the actual value. We request you to kindly reduce it to the

of the endowments under its administration due to the seizure of them by the General Secretariat for Frozen Assets (Endowments of
Menachem Daniel, Ezra Menachem Daniel, and Heskel Menachem Daniel) or because the tenants have deposited most of the fees
pertaining to other endowments with the Notary Public, and the Notary Public's refusal to hand over the deposits to us at the
present time, and since our committee has consulted the competent authorities regarding this matter, we request you to kindly order
a stay in demanding property taxes from our committee until the matter is resolved, noting that our committee's endowments fall within
the jurisdiction of the Rusafa Property Tax Directorate. Our committee will pay all taxes as soon as it is able to obtain
the rental fees.
