We have previously informed your honorable secretariat by the Administrative Committee's letter numbered 86 / 68 and dated
9 / 12 / 68 that the two properties sequence 104 and 103 Qanbar Ali are endowed according to the endowment deed
issued by the Baghdad Court of First Instance under number 209 / 124 and dated 27 / 7 / 1924, which is recorded
in the Tabu registers of the two mentioned properties, and we attach herewith a copy of this endowment for review.
Please note paragraphs 5 and 6 of the endowment, and due to the inability to continue managing the mentioned hospital
and to rectify the Meir Eliyahu Shlomo Daoud (Meir Elias) Hospital, the Lay Council
(Administrative Committee) managed the endowment, leased it, and collected its rental fees, and the mentioned
committee was spending the proceeds on the party concerned in the endowment, i.e., on the sick among the poor
of the Mosaic community in general.

Our committee is going through a difficult financial situation as the majority of the properties endowed to charitable entities
have been seized by the General Secretariat for Frozen Assets for two years and six months, which has led to the
inability to cover the expenses required from our committee for schools and other charitable entities such as aid for the poor and medical treatment
and so on. Therefore, some delay has arisen from our committee in paying the property taxes due on the endowments
that are still under the management of our committee, and we will, during the next week, pay an amount of 1643/811 Dinars
to the Rusafa Property Directorate based on the list obtained from them.
We approach your Excellency requesting the kindness of instructing the Rusafa Property Tax Directorate to postpone our claim for the remaining
basic and additional taxes for a period of three months, as most of our rental fees are due in the months of September
and October, which will make it easier to pay the taxes.
