On the other hand, information indicates that he has begun to seriously study
everything that links him to the Arabs, away from the Camp David Accords
However, he cannot break free for fear of an Israeli move, but he will try
to remove the elements who participated in securing the agreement in 1978
What indicates an Egyptian-Arab rapprochement is the large number of Arab delegations
to Egypt, including the Yemeni delegation, the Omani delegation, the Moroccan delegation, and the organization's foreign minister

1- News was previously published about the project that paved the way for Arafat's visit to Cairo for the purpose of forming
a temporary government.
2- Information provided us in Cairo, and the response was technically untimely.
3- We had previously ruled out his visit to Cairo as a precaution or in consideration of the Central Committee. And
the visit may be official, but rather a meeting with some Egyptian groups or parties
as the situation was inappropriate for the results mentioned above.

to Egypt will come after the completion of
the agreement to choose Cairo as the venue
for a meeting held by Arab popular organizations

We would like to state the following to you: -
1- There was indeed an intention to form a temporary Palestinian government
headquartered in Cairo, as some Egyptian officials
proposed this publicly and through the media.
2- Our view was that the Egyptian situation does not help in establishing this government
therefore it came [to this].
3- The Palestine Liberation Organization is not satisfied with Egypt's role
entirely, especially the reactions towards the Israeli invasion
of Lebanon and the camp massacres, and its decisions were not at the level of
responsibility in the organization's opinion.
4- The Egyptian authorities leaked news of Arafat's upcoming visit to
Egypt, which is not possible at all due to Egypt's positions towards
Israel and Camp David.
5- Egypt was hoping that during the visit of African ministers to Egypt it
would obtain support, endorsement, and French recognition of the PLO
but this did not happen, which reduced the Egyptian role in this regard.
6- Exchanged messages between King Hussein and Mubarak regarding Egypt's support
and the formation of a confederation between the Palestinians and Jordan.

Our source (726) informed us, quoting some sources from the Palestine Liberation Army,
that Abu Iyad's hawks in Cairo had statements with the names of a group
of Palestinian fedayeen estimated at fifty fedayeen who crossed the
Egyptian-Israeli border via Sinai and surrendered themselves to
the Egyptian authorities after the Israeli authorities discovered the dens
in which they work - Abu Iyad delivered a message from Arafat to the Egyptian
President in which he requests protection for these fedayeen and not to hand them over to Israel,
which actually issued a request to Egypt asking for the return of these fedayeen.
Egypt did not respond to this request, which led to an increase in the dispute between the two parties.
The source also mentions that the Egyptian authorities at Cairo Airport
are detaining a number of Palestinian fedayeen (official special trips)
who left Lebanon and were distributed in a number of Arab countries,
and do not allow many of them to enter Egypt, and if they are allowed, the authorities
detain them at the airport -

We have learned the following:-
1- The deceased Hani Fouad, head of the Western Department of the Egyptian State Security Investigation,
arrived on a secret mission to Kuwait to find out Syrian and Libyan political activities
and the Brotherhood.

Israeli withdrawal from Sinai.
3- Regarding autonomy, he is trying to complicate the matter so that it is not signed before the withdrawal.
4- The aforementioned has Arab orientations, the most important of which is preventing the media from attacking
and slandering, and he is in contact with the Syrians, and they intend to form a delegation at the level of
the aforementioned to meet with his Arab brothers, as there are also contacts with Morocco and Tunisia.
5- Regarding the assassination of Sadat, they have sufficient knowledge and conviction of the following:-
a. The active organization is armed and strong and has not ended yet.
b- That Israel and America are behind the operation, which was dressed in religious garb.
c- The individuals will be executed, especially those who fired the shots, and they have
two important names: Mahmoud Salem al-Rahhal and Fathi al-Shaqaqi.

6- He added, that Hosni Mubarak differs from Sadat and was not in
a position that allowed him to reject Sadat's movements and he will try to end
the effects of the situations left by Sadat, as he is not fully convinced
neither with the intentions of Israel and he is waiting for the withdrawal and will remove all groups
of Sadat so that the era of Hosni Mubarak may begin.

1. We learned that the aforementioned met secretly with two members of the Palestinian Resistance following
the Islamic Summit Conference held in Taif and told them the following:
(The Egyptians must be brought back to the war because war without Egypt is useless and has no good in it,
and there is no other Arab power that has good and benefit except Egypt, and the Palestinians
must not pressure Sadat, but rather must wait for what Sadat will do until
the return of the entire Sinai, and at that time Sadat will certainly do something against Israel).
2. The journalist Enrico Levi, who works for the British Times newspaper, mentioned in an article
published by the newspaper on July 9, 1981, that when he met with Arab mayors
in the occupied Arab land, they were confident in the correctness of Farouk Kaddoumi's opinion, and that indeed
one of the mayors (he did not give his name) told him the same as what Farouk Kaddoumi mentioned.

Introduction:
The day Sadat signed the Camp David agreement, he announced that peace would spread its wings
over Egypt and that prosperity was on its way to the Egyptian street, and he promised them the year 1980
which would be the year of prosperity. The year 1980 came and prosperity did not come, but Egypt
witnessed another miserable year added to its previous years of misery.
The flag of Israel rose in the sky of Cairo in the absence of the flags of the Arab countries,
as the year 80 witnessed new laws and legislation that shackled freedoms,
diligent attempts to gag the mouths of the opposition, and an unprecedented inflammation in prices
before, until popular goods began to compete with luxury goods in the rise of
prices, and it became difficult for the Egyptian person to obtain necessary
goods except through the black market.
Many economic experts say that neo-colonialism comes with money
first, then the banner that protects the money later. Nevertheless, American colonialism
which is crawling over Egypt with its capital did not come to it against its will, but rather enters
at the signal of its ruler, who blessed the complete link to the wheel of American colonialism and
found no shame in speaking about his proposal in that regard. From this purely dependent standpoint,
Egypt turned into a tool in the hands of American imperialism, and the matter did not stop at requesting
aid and opening the door to all types of foreign investments, but rather the
relations witnessed developments such that Egypt became one of the American military bases
in the Middle East. The two parties agreed to strike national liberation movements in
the Middle East and Africa under the pretext of fighting communist infiltration in the region.

Joint military maneuvers have actually begun between American and Egyptian bases
in several scattered locations in Arab Egypt, and if we were to look into the economics
of Egypt, we would notice that Egypt's debts reached (14.5) billion dollars at the end of 1979
and rose in 1980 to 17 billion dollars, meaning that every individual of the
Egyptian people owes foreign countries, headed by America, an amount of
372.5 dollars, while the annual average per capita income does not exceed
340 dollars. Since the penetration of foreign capital inside
Egypt through independent projects or joint ventures poses a danger
to the Egyptian economy.
This economic situation and the dishonest relations between the ruler of Egypt
and the United States of America created economic contradictions and created the appropriate
conditions for a dangerous social revolution, which was caused by the isolation experienced by
Sadat after the Camp David agreement and the false promises promised to him
by the American administration, and he came to live in total political mourning.
Sadat realized that Egypt is an inseparable part of the Arab nation in fate and destiny
and that the stifling isolation imposed on him because of his visit to the occupied land
made him wake up from a deep dream. And he knew that the path he followed
and what resulted from this dangerous process was opposition inside Egypt
and a desperate economic situation. From this standpoint, Sadat began to retreat
in his policy, desiring to return to the Arab ranks or to drag the Palestinian
resistance to engage with the current option on the table, the option of Camp David and autonomy.

Therefore, from here and on this basis, the visit of the Egyptian delegation can be discussed
rather, the Egyptian delegations that visited Beirut recently under tasks and titles
multiple but specific and with a single goal.
And among these titles and tasks that must first be emphasized that
it was rejected and which was the subject of discussion and induction with the Egyptian delegation, the topic of
demanding the acceleration of holding the Arab Front Participating in the Palestinian
Revolution. This front, which includes Syria, Egypt, Iraq,
Libya, Algeria, Democratic Yemen, progressive Arab parties, and independent
personalities. The Palestinian side confirmed to the delegation the revolution's keenness to keep this
front alive, even if frozen, because the current dispute in the movement of
Arab liberation, the Syrian-Iraqi dispute as well as the Libyan-Iraqi one
in addition to the circumstances of the Arab People's Conference, which faces opposition
from Iraq and support from the Steadfastness and Confrontation Front, in addition to the
Iran-Iraq war, will prevent this front from succeeding in anything
and because of the contradictions in views and ideas regarding it among the parties of the movement
of Arab liberation and the forces of Steadfastness and Confrontation.
Afterwards, a member of the delegation for the Egyptian Afro-Asian Solidarity Committee stated
that the Arab position isolated Sadat partially, but it isolated the Egyptian people
completely. He added, why ⟦can⟧ the Palestinians not have a presence in Egypt?
Why are exhibitions and celebrations not held in Cairo in the name of the Palestinian revolution?
Why does the Egyptian people not see the effective Palestinian presence in Cairo?
And they began by calling for a meeting of the Front Participating in the Palestinian Revolution
then they reached the core point under the pretext of breaking the isolation of the Egyptian people.
