Vaccination against smallpox and other diseases determined by the Ministry of Health is
mandatory for all. All residents up to the age of 21 must be vaccinated against smallpox
four times as follows: (once at two months, once at six or seven years, once
at thirteen years, and once at 21 years). Additionally, when smallpox
is prevalent in the area, revaccination is necessary upon notice from the local health authority.
Violators will be sentenced to three to seven days of imprisonment
and a fine of ten to fifty Rials according to the provisions of the law approved in June 1941.
