from the Directorate of General Citizenship / IDs in its letter No. 5305/951 on 21 / 4 / 1970
1- The Jews (Gurji), (Abdullah), and (Khatoun), children of Ibrahim Habib Somikh, and (Eliyahu Hayawi Yehuda Eliyahu Yehuda) are still retaining Iraqi citizenship at the present time and they attended their department on 19 / 4 / 1970.
2- The Jewish woman (Rachel Shaul Yehuda Shohet) died in Baghdad on 16 / 9 / 1967 and was retaining Iraqi citizenship until her death.
3- Iraqi citizenship was revoked from the Jew (Naim Ibrahim Habib Somikh) by form No. (30188) Baghdad in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (1) of 1950.
4- We found a record in the name of the Jewish woman (Khatoun Baruch Yehuda) whose Iraqi citizenship was revoked by form (5033) Baghdad in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (1) of 1950.
5- We found a record in the name of the Jewish woman (Simha Baruch Yehuda) whose Iraqi citizenship was revoked by form (5034) Baghdad in accordance with the provisions of the above law. As for the other Jewish woman, we will inform you about her citizenship in a later letter, please.
