Mr. President
1- The bequest previously belonging to the ⟦Association⟧ of Cemeteries now belongs to the leadership of the community
organized by the lawyer five years ago, and the aforementioned lawsuit
for its eviction was being handled by the lawyer Jamil Matloub, and upon the liquidation of the association
it was taken by you and the follow-up was abandoned, and the lawyer informed me of that
and it was expressed by Mr. Salman Al-Kabir.
2- The seekers of this bequest had filed three lawsuits against the leadership of
the community, and I had appointed the lawyer Jamil Matloub at the time, and he agreed
to half the fee, which was estimated at 70 Dinars, and the lawyer is demanding
this by requesting the other half due to the dismissal of the lawsuit
The lawsuit was dismissed due to the absence of the plaintiffs' representative <del>⟦illegible⟧</del> and it has
been verified that the plaintiffs were not notified of the judgment decision, and therefore
the bequest has not acquired finality. I have informed the lawyer of this
however, he protested that he is tired from this lawsuit and that he deserves
the fee, and that he will leave it delayed due to the impossibility of paying the rest of
the fees until the lawsuit acquires finality:
3- Given the importance of the case, the President of the community has entrusted
the eviction lawsuit to the lawyer Fawzi Abdel Wahab
Please review and confirm not to pay the lawyer's fees until the
lawsuit acquires the degree of finality. Your order.

⟦illegible⟧ The distinguished and virtuous Mr. Frank Iny, Respected - New York
My dear Mr. Frank,
May God bless your times. I have written this letter first to inquire about your health and the health of your family, hoping that you are
always in ⟦illegible⟧ good health.
What prompted me to write to you now is the concern for the interest of the school that you were so kind to build and endow
to serve the children of your community in Baghdad. May God reward you well for this glorious deed. There are three matters that I saw
it in the interest to discuss with you ⟦line⟧.
First - there are some renovations and additions in the school's structural and electrical installations that circumstances require to be carried out from
time to time according to the needs of the school and the students. Among these renovations:
1 - Paving approximately (500) square meters of the school yards so that student transport buses can park and wait
there at dismissal time, in order to prevent congestion in the street, especially on rainy days, and to protect children from the danger
of run-over accidents they were exposed to in the past. This process costs about (500/-) Dinars.
2 - All electrical installations in the school are unfit for use at the present time. It has happened on
many occasions during the past three years that the walls of some classrooms became electrified, exposing the students' lives
to danger. It appeared as a result of the inspection of these installations by experts that their workmanship is not proficient and that it is necessary
to make a radical change in them, which costs about (750/-) Dinars.
3 - There is the hall stage which requires about (250/-) Dinars so that it can be made suitable for acting and public speaking by
the students. No doubt you are among those who appreciate these student activities at their true value, as is established and known about
your generous ⟦line⟧ person.
In this case, the total urgent and necessary expenses for the school would be about (1500/-) Dinars.
The community administration in Baghdad does not have the resources to cover these expenses in addition to the other annual
expenses, which in current circumstances have reached about (18,000) Dinars according to the budget that the school
principal, Mr. Abdullah Idia, previously showed you last year. This is knowing that the total
fees collected from students annually are always less than six thousand Dinars. Therefore, I have come to request you
to help the school administration meet these necessary needs for your school, which has become at the present time
one of the famous schools in the country, if not the most famous school in Baghdad, characterized by its excellent academic
level and the quality of its students, teaching staff, and good management. The results of the general
ministerial examinations (Baccalaureate) for the three levels—primary, intermediate, and preparatory—in our school were more brilliant than all
other schools, both official and ⟦line⟧ private.

Number:
Date:
Subject:
⟦line⟧ 2 ⟦line⟧
Second - There is no doubt that all members of the community in Baghdad thank you for this glorious and visible work and appreciate it.
Your school, when first built, was established to accommodate students of a middle school consisting of only (12) classes
with all other facilities such as a library, laboratories, a hall, etc... Circumstances have required that this school contain
at the present time students of (17) classes of all ages and genders, starting from kindergarten to the fifth preparatory grade;
it has become necessary, in this situation, to use the library, the hall, and the laboratories as classrooms for students, which has deprived these
students of many necessary study facilities, in addition to the overcrowding of some of them in rooms that are not suitable
as classrooms.
The school principal, Mr. Abdullah Obeidia, has recently developed designs (
to build an additional wing in the school consisting of two additional classrooms with a tiered storage room on the lower floor, along with two laboratories,
one for chemistry ( ) and the other for physics (
) on the upper floor, and we will send you these designs for your review.
In view of the school's urgent need for this project, which is considered an integral part of your original project, I hope that you,
along with the rest of the community members in Baghdad, will look with kindness toward bringing it into existence as quickly as possible.
By doing so, you will have completed the largest charitable project for the members of your community.
Third - The last two classes of the school, which are the fourth preparatory and fifth preparatory grades, currently contain
a large number of students with varying scientific levels and abilities. This has begun to cause major problems in teaching in
terms of reconciling the strong students and the weak students contained within a single class.
The Presidency of the Community and the Administrative Committee, after consultation with your school principal, have thought of completing a new project, which is opening
a new preparatory school consisting of only two classes containing a homogeneous type of students, in addition to the two preparatory classes
currently existing in your school, provided that this project is funded by the endowments of the late Ezra Menachem Daniel, who
stipulated when making his endowment the building of a school in his name.
In view of the need for economy in teachers to manage this new school, we have thought of purchasing four
plots of land from the eight plots adjacent to your school belonging to you, which are currently used as a warehouse for your shop in Baghdad.
In this process, two benefits can be achieved: first - using the same teachers to conduct teaching in both schools
due to their proximity to each other; second - gathering our school students in one area to facilitate their transportation and to benefit from the facilities
of both schools by all students at the same time.
Therefore, we hope that you will also look into this matter as quickly as possible and assign whomever you deem appropriate in Baghdad to complete
this sale transaction, and by doing so, you will have achieved a new project for the members of your community for which you deserve thanks and praise.

Finally, I am pleased to inform you that your school has at present become the only solid building for the community which
provides services for social aspects. At the prize distribution ceremony for outstanding students held by the school administration
last year, the school garden accommodated no less than (1200) invited individuals from the community. It has previously
witnessed the school hall hosting a marriage ceremony (Kiddushim) in the past, and it is hoped that many other similar ceremonies will be held in the future.
Also, the number of school students has been increasing for two years, especially among the children who represent the new generation.
There is no doubt that if you had not been so kind as to build the school, the situation of the community in Baghdad would be different from what it is now in
terms of education and social life. This is a favor of yours that cannot be forgotten.
In conclusion, I hope that our hope will not be disappointed in your completion of the project you started, and that you will not delay in doing everything
that serves the public interest to enhance your good reputation, which has long been mentioned among the members of the community. May God
grant us all success in serving the group, and may you remain ( ⟦May God help us and grant us success⟧ )
And on the occasion of the upcoming New Year, I pray for you and your family for long life and health ( ⟦May you merit many pleasant years⟧ )
Sincerely,
