Announcement
The administration of the Heskel Menachem Daniel Vocational School for Girls is pleased to announce to the honorable public
that it has decided to open courses to teach the following professions:-
A - A course for teaching cutting (Coupe).
B - A course for teaching the sewing of undergarments, including brassieres and
sleepwear (Lingerie).
C - A course for teaching the tailoring and sewing of women's suits (Tailleur).
The conditions are as follows:-
1 - The duration of the course is three months, with attendance twice a week for two hours each time.
2 - The fees are six dinars for the course, to be paid in advance, and no free students will be accepted.
3 - The student is responsible for all sewing supplies, including raw materials, fabrics, etc... and the school
administration is not responsible for any of that.
4 - Ladies and misses can join this course, as no consideration will be given to
the student's age or her educational or professional qualifications.
The number of students will be limited, and the school administration hopes that by providing this opportunity to women
and girls who seek to learn an honorable profession for gainful employment, they will find this a
favorable opportunity that must be seized, especially since the teaching will be handled by the most capable specialized teachers graduated
from the largest sewing institutes in Paris and London.
Those wishing to join one of these courses should hurry to register at the school administration
daily from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, and the final deadline for registration is
October 10, 1950.
