1 - Admission to the first intermediate grade depends on passing ⟦...⟧
The fourth preparatory grade depends on passing the general examination for intermediate studies, and students holding a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education equivalent to the level they wish to enter are accepted.
2 - Admission to the first grade of primary schools requires the student to have entered their seventh year and not exceed thirteen years of age.
3 - The student must be of good reputation and character, not convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. The school may request a certificate to this effect from their previous school, the Mukhtar, or the police, as decided by the principal.
4 - The student must not exceed twenty years of age for entry into the fourth preparatory grade, or sixteen for entry into the first intermediate grade; evening school students are exempted from this.
5 - Census record (or citizenship certificate upon request).
6 - The student must attach to this form (a) a smallpox vaccination certificate (b) a medical certificate testifying to their freedom from communicable diseases (c) the graduation document (d) two copies of their photograph "all documents are to be placed in a folder (file)" with their name, the branch they are entering, and their total score written at the top of the file in the right corner.
