Amendments to Curricula and Books
Primary Education

Work continues according to the current curricula and books for this year except for the health curriculum for juveniles
for the sixth primary grades, where the following is applied:-
It is sufficient from Chapter Four to give students an idea about.
1- Sterilizing wounds when they occur and not leaving them for contamination
2- Treating simple burns.
3- Drowning and artificial respiration.
4- Treating bites and fainting, and deleting the rest of the chapter.
It is noted that the subject of dysentery belongs to infectious diseases, so it is deleted from this chapter
Biology (in intermediate and preparatory studies)
Teaching of old books continues, as for the chemistry and physics curricula, the printed sheets
and attachments show what should be deleted and what should be emphasized.

General Chemistry Curriculum for the Fourth Scientific Grade

The prescribed book is studied starting from the first chapter to the end of the eighteenth chapter, taking into account the following:
- 1 - The following is omitted from Chapter Three:
a - Reasons for the non-precipitation of solute particles in a colloidal solution.
b - Some colloidal and related phenomena.
c - The solvent effect of water.
d - Osmosis and osmotic pressure.
- 2 - The following is observed in Chapter Four: - (It is sufficient to teach the topics listed below):
a - It is sufficient to define the laws of chemical union while giving an illustrative example for each of them.
b - Dalton's atomic theory.
c - Avogadro's law.
d - Gay-Lussac's law of combining gas volumes, and the rest of the chapter's contents are omitted.
- 3 - Cannizzaro's method for volatile compounds is deleted from Chapter Seven.

3- The entire Twenty-Second Chapter is deleted except for arsenic poisoning and its detection.
4- The following is deleted from Chapter Twenty-Three:-
a- Producer gas b- Cyanogen gas c- Hydrocyanic acid d- Water gas
5- (Rubber. Turpentine) are deleted from Chapter Twenty-Six.
6- The entire Thirty-First Chapter is deleted.
7- The following is deleted from Chapter Thirty-Three:-
a- Potassium (its ores, locations, extraction, benefits, properties, comparison with sodium,
its hydroxide, due to its similarity to sodium).
8- Everything related to gold in Chapter Thirty-Four is deleted.
9- The following is deleted from Chapter Thirty-Six:-
a- Everything present about magnesium b- Zinc carbonate
10- Aluminum alloys are deleted from Chapter Thirty-Seven.
11- In Chapter Thirty-Nine, it is sufficient to teach the reactions of potassium dichromate and potassium
permanganate, and the rest of the chapter's contents are omitted.
