Based on the requirements of the public interest, we have decided the following :-
1- It has been decided that the examination centers for the intermediate study for the first session of the current academic year shall be according to the attached schedule.
2- The administrations of schools whose buildings have been designated as examination centers, whether they are official, private, or foreign schools, must prepare their school desks, halls, and classrooms well in advance of the examination date.
3- The ministerial examination begins at exactly eight o'clock in the morning on 12 / 6 / 960 according to the schedule notified to the schools in our letter 1407 on 31 / 3 / 960.
4- School principals (male and female) must review paragraph (3) of our letter No. 10752 on 6 / 3 / 960 and provide us on or before 3 / 5 / 960 with the names of those entitled to participate in the mentioned examinations, along with a copy of the annual effort averages for third-grade intermediate students, provided that the list of names is clear and a wide margin is left before the name so that we can place the examination numbers next to each student's name. The names must also be written with a line left between each name.
5- Students are to be informed of their examination centers from now, and this shall be announced on the school's notice board.

Desiring to facilitate the final examination matters in non-terminating classes in intermediate and secondary schools and teachers' training institutes
with full accuracy. Please notify all schools affiliated with you to adhere to the following instructions and act accordingly, which are a confirmation of previous instructions
in this regard.
1 - An (Examination Committee) shall be formed in each school consisting of the principal, assistants, and one or two teachers depending on the school's capacity.
This committee shall handle all matters related to final examinations, from organizing halls and conducting exams to what follows
such as recording grades in registers and cards, and its work shall be confidential until the results are published.
2 - Questions for the first and second sessions shall be prepared by the specialized subject committees and submitted to the school principal before the start
of the exam by a suitable period, provided that the number of questions is not less than four, excluding optional ones.
3 - Correction of booklets shall be confidential, and the corner of the booklets where the student's name is written shall be sealed, then handed over to the specialized subject committees
for correction. All specialized teachers must participate in the correction, and it is preferred that this be done in the school and daily so that
students are informed of the results immediately after the exam as much as possible, so that teachers can move on to general examinations thereafter.
4 - The school principal and assistants are jointly responsible for recording the grades of the first term, mid-year exam, second term,
and the annual effort in the grade registers and transferring them from the teachers' registers, and one of them shall sign for every error that occurs
in the register.
5 - It is preferred not to crowd a large number of students in the examination halls, leaving ample space between one seat and another to ensure
the orderly conduct of examinations and to facilitate monitoring by teachers.
6 - It is preferred that oral examinations in Arabic and English be conducted two days before the exam date and during lessons.
7 - The duration of the exam shall be one and a half hours for each subject in intermediate schools and two hours in preparatory schools and teachers' institutes unless stated
otherwise on the question paper.
