Greetings,
Your esteemed company has previously connected electrical power to the sheep
blowing machines installed in the Jewish Slaughterhouse in Baghdad in the name of the Community. Since
the Community has no connection to these machines as they belong to the blowing contractor Mr.
Fadl Issa Mahfouz, who is responsible for paying the fees for the electrical units
consumed by them, we request that this power be registered in the name of the blowing contractor while collecting
the necessary deposits from him. We also request the collection of electricity fees incurred by the machines
mentioned from him starting from the first of September 1948, with the request to submit all invoices
in this regard in the future directly to him and to sever the Community's connection with the machines
mentioned starting from the date of your receipt of this letter.

Greetings,
Based on the request of the Secretariat of the Capital to connect the electrical current to operate
electric motors for use in inflating sheep in the Jewish slaughterhouse, the
electrical power was indeed connected to the aforementioned slaughterhouse as of April
1948, and from that date until today, we have continued to pay all the fees for the electrical
units at a rate of 20 fils per unit. In view of the large consumption consumed
by the aforementioned machines, we request your kind approval to grant the special allowance, similar
to other factories, and we request a reconsideration regarding the fees that were paid
starting from last April at a rate of 20 fils per unit, with the request to return
the difference in the fees for the consumed units that you processed at the time, and to you
thanks.
